Adrian (8/5): Buen lugar pet friendly a pocas horas de San Jose! - Localizacion, trato y que aceptaran mascotas, muy bien. Las habitacionea muy muy aceptables. Buen tiempo en familia y de los mas cercanos al Valle Central! La piscina es muy caliente (agua) en verano. Se recomienda taparla con algun tipo sombra.

Wirth (8/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr schön.Das Meer haben wir gehört und gesehen.Sehr ruhige Lage.Die Anlage hatte schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, es gehört vieles erneuert .Gepflegter könnte alles sein.Das Abendessen war sehr lecker das Frühstück nicht so, die Damen waren sehr unflexibel.Meine Tochter ist Veganer da gab's nix..Der Check in war top, der Check Out nicht.. Der Pool war leider auch nicht sauber Trotzdem würde ich nochmals dort übernachten.

Leventhal (5/5): May eat there if we stay elsewhere - Food was good, staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really small, overstuffed with furnishings. More importantly, the pool didn't look as though anyone had cleaned it in some time. Tree debris and insects floated on the surface. The beach front lacked care. The chaise lounges were few, far between, and many in need of discarding. Very surprising since the beach could be a tourist attraction...but given there were no comfortable loungers, we were quite disappointed.

Ileana (10/5): Todo pura vida! - Es la segunda visita que realizamos en familia y la atención del personal es excepcional, un trato amable y respetuoso incluso con mis pequeños peluditos Peque y Molly. Y, ni que decir de la espectacular vista al mar, la seguridad y tranquilidad para disfrutar cada atardecer.

JOEL (7/5): Good but it can improve to be Great. Big potential!!! - Location & Rooms (inside). The rooms were pretty comfortable and nice, with enough space to enjoy, a large bathroom and clean. I want to remark the guest service because it was first quality. Servers at night are superb (Renzo & Randall). They impacted over our meals in a very positive way with professionalism and grace. A great job done. In the managing/front desk team, Karla & Karolay grace, good attitude and knowledge were important to solve and balance the issue with lights and other details. Things to improve: 1) Light bulb from terrace in our room was not working. We report it since day one but maintenance team was very busy and they couldn’t attended on time. 2) Pool: We were looking forward to using the pool, but the water appeared cloudy during our stay. With daily cleaning and regular maintenance, this could easily be improved for future guests. 3) Outdoors details: details like paint, bad odors from treating waters, water leaking from gardens thru walkable areas are things to consider and improve, because they affects the guest experience directly. 4) Training staff and guest expectations: Small but critical details in staff training could create a more unforgettable experience for guests. Examples: a) We had some dirty dishes from the restaurant in our room, but the housekeeping staff forgot to remove them after cleaning and bedding. b) Communication, timing and work load: between the front desk and maintenance team could improve. Both side worked hard and well (maintenance was doing gardening the whole day and they did not stop, very good job) and front desk was understanding and took action immediately, but the issue of lightning continued because work load and the guest expectation was “it will be solved right now”. c) During the breakfasts in our stays we had to ask for more glasses for water and cups for coffee, more orange juice in the dispenser, coffee and milk. Details that must be covered by the morning team in restaurant to ensure a smooth and continuous work flux and guest experience.

Pagamos pensión completa, al segundo día "cambiaron el menú" y eliminaron los 3 pedacitos de fruta del desayuno, pero sin ninguna variación en los únicos 2 platos de entrada y 4 platos principales que ofrecen: a comer lo mismo todos los días...😣

Ileana (10/5): Me encantó la estancia, deseamos regresar pronto. - Me encantó la ubicación; el desayuno muy variado; la atención del personal excelente; el servicio de limpieza genial; el ambiente muy tranquilo y me fascinó que permitan la estancia con las mascotas. Por teléfono me dieron una tarifa por el ingreso de las mascotas y cuando llegamos nos cobraron otra. Sería conveniente que en el correo informen que Waze lo lleva por una carretera de tierra (había llovido y parecía una laguna) pero hay otro ingreso por una carretera asfaltada.

Terexa (8/5): Food was delicious. - The staff were very kind and accommodating. If it wasn’t for the staff I would have given it lower stars. The food at the restaurant was really good. The hotel is about 200 feet from the ocean which was wonderful. It could have been cleaner. There were remnants of bugs, dust, and the haphazard lizard. The towels had the mildew smell at times. Bedding was very basic (thin sheet and thin comforter on top). In room coffee not provided

Grounds were unkempt in places. Needed some maintenance. Hard to find as the signage was poor. Beeked an ocean view room but really not a view of the ocean.
Panayot (8/5): A beautiful oceanfront resort - It was a beautiful oceanfront resort where you can experience the tropical mood. It was a resort of small houses surrounded by tropical trees. You just step out of the front gate and you are on a beautiful Pacific beach with soft sand which dark color we find charming. The rooms were spacious and clean and there was even a coffee machine. It's a bit remote which makes it super quiet and relaxing and means that the beach is almost yours. The staff was very friendly and the service was overall good. The facilities were starting to get old. The door was a bit hanging - it was hard to open and close and left a hole big enough for geckos to enter. The coffee machine didn't work well and we couldn't make a good coffee. The breakfast was poor. Even though we were there at 3 pm we had to wait a bit for our room to be ready. All of these were relatively small issues but worth mentioning as the hotel was more like a medium-range rather than cheap.

Michael (10/5): - Wonderful beachfront hotel. Tranquil and relaxing. Good restaurant for breakfast and the evening and if you have a car there are many roadside restaurants and bars close by. We did have a slight hiccough in that on arrival for a one week stay, we found out that our last night was a double booking. However, thr hotel put us up for that last night at a very nice closeby hotel that they also owned. Not ideal, of course, but the hotel staff handled the whole thing very professionally and helpfully, sometimes you just have to roll with the hiccoughs on holidays and the staff made it almost seamless.

The one negative was lots of bonfires on and off site but left a horrible smell which stopped us been able to sit outside a couple of nights. Would be nice to have a shuttle bus to local amenities for those not hiring a car.
Laura (9/5): Lovely, quiet property and wonderful staff on the beach! - Loved the bungalow style of the hotel. Very quiet and clean. The pool was amazing. The beach is very nice but the waves are quite large and at low tide it’s a long way to the water from the hotel. We did go in the water which is very warm and has a nice sandy bottom without rocks. The beach is almost deserted and very walkable. The sunsets were gorgeous! Staff was extremely nice and friendly, Renzo, Randall and Roberto were great. They put up with our not so great Spanish and made great drinks! The on site restaurant is very nice, the included breakfast was good but both dinners we had there were mediocre. We really didn’t feel like driving anywhere and there are no other options within walking distance. The dinners at the restaurant.

Henrike (5/5): Passable - Beautiful beach and nice hotel complex, nice staff at the restaurant and front desk. Great pool. Recommend this place for familiar and people who do not care about culture or specifically Costa Rica and it's tradition. Great for resort vacation The hotel tried to overcharge us. We paid in cash for a shuttle driver and the hotel added the shuttle costs to their bill as well (160 USD) It seemed that we were also extra charged in food. Felt like a rip off unfortunately. Also put shower was poorly fixed and very cheaply set up.
JC (10/5): Paradise - This place is beautifully located. We had a hard time finding it due to it still operating under the previous name. Long beach out front with nearly no people. Saw a sloth, Macaws, parrots and vultures. The food and smoothies were excellent, the mahmahi to die for.

Sandra (9/5): Superb - This hotel is direct on the beach. Very quiet no traffic no noises. Beautiful sunsets and we were lucky to see a sloth. The rooms are spacious and have super comfortable beds and a big bathroom. You have a little patio with a view to the ocean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Easy checkin and checkout.
Angela (8/5): Fine but needs maintenance - Location on the beach, nice bed, comfortable room. Some facilities were pretty worn out or broken. Our room had a window shade/curtain that was broken as well as an inoperable vent fan in the bathroom. Pool area was nice but many deck chairs were slightly or severely broken. Restaurant was fine but food was only mediocre.

Paul (8/5): Great place to relax for a couple of days! - The pool area was great. We really liked the bungalow style room we had, it was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times! For breakfast and dinner you could simply feel the restaurant was understaffed constantly. The waiters were still extremely friendly, but waiting times for food were quite long regardless.

Luxurious classic rooms, very comfy beds. - Loved the location of the hotel - it's right on Esterillos Beach, with some amazing sunsets. The pool is nice (a little small, but nice). Gym has great views of the ocean. The rooms have this classic hacienda style, with a really comfortable mattress. Staff were super friendly at reception. The restaurant is outdoors with views of Esterillos beach. Loved this hotel. No complaints.
