• Julie (10/5): I loved this apartment and did not want to go home - This is a beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean. Everything you would find in boutique accommodation. The second year running that I have spent Christmas and New Year here. I can't wait to come back. Mem & Conrad are the most delightful hosts and truly lovely people. That I had to leave and go home at the end of my stay.

• Stephen (10/5): Fantastic and comfortable - Fantastic location, incredibly clean apartment. Host was fantastic and couldn't have done enough for me. I travel a lot for work and have had the misfortune of staying in many places that do not even come close to this! Absolutely nothing at all!

• Ellen (10/5): Fantastic stay! - We stayed here for five days recently and had a wonderful time. Not only was it quite central for the things we wanted to do in Cornwall, but also the owners were so hospitable and made us so comfortable. The apartment was lovely and just the right size for us and had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning to stay here the next time we go to Cornwall!
• Patricia (9/5): - Beautiful flat, very cosy and the location is great, as we spent the week traveling through Cornwall. The village is quiet and has a nice little park nearby, as well as free parking. Conrad was a lovely host, approachable and helpful. The flat is by the main road and the original sash windows allow traffic noise into the front room, so at times can get a bit loud.
• Adam (8/5): It was okay until we got accused of stealing a hairdryer - Local to pub across the road, clean, comfortable size The bed was too small, the step into the bathroom wasn’t signed and should be as could cause serious accidents, glasses were to small, and to top it off we bought our own hairdryer as we take all our own stuff when travelling and have been accused of stealing a hairdryer from the property. We won’t be going back there again
• Gabriele54 (9/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt - Sehr netter Empfang und kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit ganz in der Nähe. Apartment erst 1 Jahr alt und alles ganz neu. WLAN sehr gut. Vermieter immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Es gab Cornflakes, Instantkaffee und eine Flasche Milch im Kühlschrank. Eigentümer haben auch direkt unter dem Apartment einen Laden. Bett ist nur 1,20m, mehr Platz ist dort aber auch nicht. Keine Schränke, also wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Wenig Besteck und Geschirr. Keine Gewürze (Salz, Pfeffer). Auf Nachfrage wurde uns aber sofort etwas gebracht.

• Helen (9/5): A lovely comfortable place to stay - It had everything you needed and was clean and modern The car park was about 200 years away but was full so had to find a spot elsewhere a further 100 yards away which was not great as I had a lot to carry. There was also a lot of road noise when in the kitchen and living room but you could not hear this at all from the bedroom.

• Lee (10/5): Perfect for a short stay - met all our requirements. - Location ideal for our purposes. Breakfast was a nice touch although on this occasion we didn't take advantage. The apartment was very clean and well presented. Some traffic noise from front of apartment as property is on main road. Didn't affect our sleeping though as the bedroom is at the back of property.

• Laila (9/5): Superb - Fab apartment, modern and well decorated, comfortable with everything you need. Great kitchen and facilities all round. There was a lot of road noise when in the living area, it didn't affect the bedroom which was fine for my short trip.
• Alison (10/5): What a gem! - We had a lovely 2 night stay at Poldice Valley Apartments. It was so easy to collect the key on arrival from the village shop - Mem met us there and showed us to the apartment. She is so friendly! The apartment is spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge and bedroom are very comfortable. We parked in the free carpark across the road - very easy. Great having a smart TV so we could stream Netflix or YouTube etc. We met Conrad too - he's also very friendly and they both made sure to let them know if we needed anything extra etc. If we're in the area again we'll definitely book another stay. Thanks Conrad and Mem!

• Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Tastefully decorated and equipped with everything I needed for my stay. Comfortable bed, lovely shower and very clean. Free carpark is about 100 yards walk from the property. Staff were extremely helpful and communicated with me throughout the checking in process and during my stay. Excellent WiFi connection. There was nothing I didn't like.

• Tony (9/5): Extremely helpful host. Excellent apartment. - Host went out of his way on many occasions to make our stay enjoyable. Superb shower in the ensuite. Top quality Wi-Fi. Free parking less than 2-minute walk away. Road outside was noisy; It was quite busy and the sash windows didn't stop any sound. Fortunately the bedroom was at the back, so we could close doors to stop the noise. There were no openable windows in the bedroom, so it could be a little airless - there was a fan available (expensive and quiet) that we could use to help with that.

Highly recommend and would definitely stay again whenever next in Cornwall for a few nights. Can get a little noisy at times as there is a pub across the road from apartment.

• Christopher (7/5): whilst not in a more expensive coastal spot, it is a convenient location - central location for travelling to various locations and handy 5 minute drive to very nice pub at Blackwater village. Well equipped dmall kitchen and living room for two peaoplea double bed is nowhere near as comfortable to sleep in as a queen/king. bedroom is ventillation if you don’t open the window to the sound of passing traffic
• Nina (10/5): Exceptional - Very good stay, very clean place, you will everything there to feel like at home. Air fryer, microwave, kettle, cutlery, plates, glasses, iron, hair dryer, fan for hot days. This place is very modern, furnished with a good taste. Even table lamps in a bedroom has built in usb charger :D. Very good location, it’s a small village but it took as around 50 mins to get to Kynance Cove, around 30 mins to Newquay, around 45mins to St. Ives. Public car park is a few steps away. Local pub is just opposite, it is quite loud during the weekend, especially when they do Karaoke night lol. Overall very good stay, lovely owners, we will defo back. Thank you!
• Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Comfortable recently refurbed unit. Great shower. Handy to have air fryer in well equipped kitchen. Nice to have a few mini cereal packets & milk provided. Although property is right on a thoroughfare, traffic generally died down at a reasonable time. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Very narrow bed, but no space for anything bigger.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful, and the entire flat was decorated with good taste and attention to detail. We highly recommend this place. We liked everything.

• Karen (10/5): Cosy flat for two. - The hosts were very welcoming and were on hand if we needed anything. The flat is cosy, warm, and very clean. The shower was lovely and hot, and we slept very well, too. On arrival, we had tea, coffee, milk, and some boxes of mini of cereal, which we weren't expecting, but we did appreciate it. Car park is literally across the road and is free, and the owners run the shop below the flat, which is very handy. We would definitely stay there again. There is nothing to dislike.

• Miho (10/5): Exceptional - I was so delighted to be able to host three guests with light meals and tea that I prepared in the kitchen for afternoon chat during my stay. The house was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the stylish design gave me a luxury feeling. The public transport connection was very good between Truro and Redruth. They run a small grocery store downstairs, so you can cook healthy meals at home.
• Santhosh (10/5): excellent hosts - well furnished accommodation - Cereals provided for breakfast with milk provided. Unfortunately the ventilation didn't seem to work in the bathroom/toilet. This was the only drawback but no other issues with the accommodation.

Owners were very attentive and supplied milk etc for our stay. It was immaculate and a very good night sleep! GREAT FOR WHAT WE NEEDED FOR OUR WEEKEND. Nothing about the accommodation or owners, but no fault of the owners, and not a major issue, road noise and pub opposite, but for location of bedroom and sleeping we never heard a thing.

• Joseph (10/5): A nice change from the 2 room hotel scenario for business travellers. - Breakfast isn't available at this property as such, but you get a fridge with fresh milk and some cereal. There is a microwave, a hob and an air fryer here too. The apartment is modern and clean with handy things like iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. It totals four rooms and a hallway (with good storage space), including shower room, bedroom, lounge/diner and kitchen. All compact but not in anyway cramped. Conrad and Mem are terrific hosts and make you feel welcome straight away. Nothing to dislike about the property. I half expected there to be an oven however, as it would be nice to just throw a pizza in if you've had a long day travelling.

The transportation system within the town is a bit messed but apartment owner volunteered to take me to the national coach station in his own car. Was a nice gesture truly and I appreciate. Nothing really! There was nothing to complain about.

Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the tastefully decorated - a self contained 1 bed flat with equipped kitchen, living room with TV , comfy bed+ good shower room with toiletries. Another plus were the sockets with lightening and C charger ports. Would definitely recommend.
