- Loes (7/5): Bijzondere ervaring op een geweldige plek - De plek is magisch De ruimte is erg klein, sluiting van de ramen is kapot

- Kathleen (8/5): We enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. Thank you. - The location was excellent!!! Close to public transportation!! The view of the canal was exceptional. Cleaver use of space as well as very nice finishes! The graffiti on the building was definitely a turn off. First impression gave me an uneasy feeling. I felt a bit vulnerable after the 11pm bang/knock at the front door. We do realize that was most likely a random occurrence.
- Amanda (9/5): Such a unique stay! We were right in the heart of the action and felt like we were on top of the water. - Such a unique spot!! If you’re not okay with smaller spaces, this is not for you.

- Anne-Wil (9/5): Terug in het kleine huisje op de brug! - We waren terug in ‘ons brughuisje’.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Clean little room just over the bridge from all the tourists. It was quiet, and we couldn't have asked for a better view or location. Bathroom was bigger than I thought (you can shower comfortably). A perfect cozy adventure!! It was perfect. No dislikes!
- Ho (8/5): We enjoyed our stay at the bridge house. It’s tiny and quirky but holds a certain charm. Because it is so tiny it’s impo - The location was lovely. The view and ability to open windows directly onto the canal were exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really good. Nice to have utensils and plates to use. The front door felt very secure. Great to have heavy curtains to cover the windows and front door. A different and enjoyable experience. We were unaware it was a Murphy bed which was fine but would have been nice to know. However, the latch on the left side was not aligned and made it difficult to latch and unlatch. My husband did not have hot water in his shower on the second night. Perhaps a barrier could be put up on the outside by the canal to deter people from walking alongside of the house and canal. My husband was startled by someone as he was opening the windows and my husband startled the man as well. Would have been good to know that the code to enter the bridge house was a one time use since we are traveling and our internet can be spotty. Lastly, it would be helpful to know that that code is not being emailed to you directly from Sweets Hotel but from Booking.com. There is a delay and if I had not decided to check my booking.com app I would have waited a lot longer.
- C (7/5): A lovely site ONCE you can get in. TECH CONNECTION IS A PROBLEM. INSIDE AND OUT, too bad! - It WAS nice to see and enjoy the view from the bridge house and surprisingly mostly quiet. A nice location to enjoy Amsterdam. The view, is a respite from the busy city. Centrally located which allowed access to most of the sites in central A/dam.
If you want to enjoy a quiet place, to sleep take a view from you bed, day or night and relax, this one was definitely something I would recommend.
Cozy, but a bit cramped with the bed taking the whole room. But if it is raining as it usually does, a nice place to hang.
Loved the water view, hearing the rain on the roof which was especially nice to know that I was not outside but peacefully inside. What I did NOT LIKE, WAS HOW TO GET INTO THE HOUSE.
You need to have a smart phone that works in A'dam. My phone was with DE Telekom and I could not receive any emails OR INTERNET connection IN HOLLAND. I had a phone to CALL via VODAFONE but no access to internet. I could not get emails nor access to the internet to scan and give me access to the rental. I had to go back to the central location for assistance and was given a code to get access. This visit provided me only a code on a piece of paper, to access the place which he had to call in to get. BUT This code only worked via an internet connection from a smart phone. I could still not get access!!!. hhhmnn. I had to ask local passerby's to access this location, by giving them my code and their internet SMART connection. Why could they not have given me a card to access the place when I stated I had no internet connection and no way to access the place? That is what happens in most hotels, when you loose your key...very unfortunate to start a brief visit, with now way to drop off bags and enjoy A/dam. This took half of my day, and 20 EUROS for a taxi to get help and it still did not work. This was the worst start of my trip.
- Ad (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (2/5): very disappointed. - close to town There was no facilities to hang your clothing and therefore had to leave in case. No bottled water supplied. The coffee facilities very limited. The washbasin was so small you had a job to clean your teeth or wash your hands without getting water everywhere. Throughout the night into the early hours lots of noise from pedestrians and cyclists. No warning of mosquitos in the room and both myself and partner were bitten all over. A plug in device would have eliminated this. The pictures shown in the description are very misleading to the extent that they show there is plenty of room,to which there is hardly any room. Overall very disappointed with theaccommodation and very expensive. We were advised that we would receive the code for the door entry by 4.00. I had emailed twice to get the coding but no response. We arrived in Amsterdam and had to ring the out of office number as still no code given at 5.00 pm.
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anders (7/5): Good -
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location right on the Amstel, great facilities, very comfortable. Nothing negative to report.
- Kiu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (9/5): The nicest tiny place with a wonderful view and perfect location. - Greatest location of all, 2 windows open directly to the canal with magnificent views .
The experience of staying in a tiny house who used to be the bridge keepers is insuperable . Hosts weren’t helpful.
Check in is until 4 pm and if you want to get in before that ,they charge 75.
If you have luggage (we had 2 big pieces) there is no place to keep them before check in.
The access code was sent to my email only after I called to complain after 4:10pm
Check out is at 11 am and although they offer a hotel which will keep your luggage, it was too far from the bridge house to walk with 2 suitcases.
I didn’t mind but it was a Murphy bed.
No bottles of water
Coffee was bad .
- Anna (8/5): I think it’s awesome, it’s unique, you can flex around you rented a HOUSE in the center of Amsterdam 😂 I’d stay there ag - This was a very unique experience, and such a good accommodation for a decent price in a perfect location! I’ve loved the attention to details: the welcoming card written by hand, the perfectly white towels, bathrobes, and slippers, drip coffee, little fridge…everything is done with a good taste, and it’s very cozy. There is also an AC there! And the view from the window is marvelous! We didn’t necessarily dislike it, but it must be considered during a longer stays: shower is not separated (=there is no curtain) in the bathroom, so this might be not very convenient, and the room is rather small. The only thing, which I was not very comfortable with in the beginning, was the feeling of being exposed: it’s a house right in the heart of the city, there are a lot of people passing by, and you are only separated by a thin wall 🥲(but I must say, the sound isolation is great, I almost didn’t hear any noise from the street). But this is a part of the experience, which in the end of the day I was totally fine with.
- Matthew (8/5): Beautiful views in a perfect location - just beware of the noise and proximity to the street. - Fantastic central location, beautiful views of the Amstel river; Amazing spot for the Gay Pride Boat Parade! Perfect for one person. Murphy bed was comfortable. Easy to check-in with the digital key; liked that they had a physical key too You are very exposed to street noise and activity. Some drunks banged on my door at 4:42am on a Sunday morning. Scared me out of a sound sleep. There is an additional deadbolt but if being this close to a public street is an issue you should book another place.
- David (8/5): It was a unique experience. - The property is very well located It was a bit dark. Also, the bed and table were malfunctioning when we got there. But we’re repaired as soon as we told the staff. So our second night was more comfortable
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location and an awesome, unique experience.
- Susan (9/5): beautiful views!! - booking surface area
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location, right on the water. Much more quiet than expected. Excellent design for such a small space and very comfortable Murphy bed. We loved our tiny house! A better coffee machine would have been nice. Rather fiddly filter system. Coffee mugs please as well and an extra mirror in the corner between the 2 windows (for make-up)!
- Kristina (10/5): It’s really feel like you are at home! - It’s nice to live for yourself and close to everything you need. Really happy for our choice!
- Magdalena (10/5): Amazing experience, comfortable tiny home on the river - Incredible location, staying really “on the river”. Very smartly arranged tiny home, with comfortable bed, possibility to make a coffee, smart solutions to make the stay enjoyable. There was not much noise. It is a real experience, nothing like staying in a chain hotel.
