• Lixin (10/5): - Beautifully designed hotel with a tasteful minimalist style. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and very relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bedding felt soft and high quality — I slept very well throughout my stay. Breakfast was a highlight — fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional. A special mention to the gentleman at the front desk who handled our check-in — he was especially warm, welcoming, and helpful. A wonderful stay overall. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We stayed in early April and were disappointed that the hotel promotes itself as a Gastronomic experience but the night we stayed the restaurant was closed and no other dinner option available. We tried to book for dinner on a Wednesday two weeks later and it still wasn’t going to be open. We had been attracted by the restaurant’s reputation but you need to check very carefully when it’s actually open, particularly early in the season

• Ruth (10/5): excellent food, staff andlocation - This was an exceptionally cozy and well designed hotel right in the heart of places we wanted to visit. The room was lovely, and the restaurant is exceptional. We were very lucky to have the hotel restaurant as an option especially since so many places are closed for dinner New Year's Eve. The food for both dinner and breakfast was top notch. The hotel is well integrated into the surrounding historic structures and it is a short walk to the University and main plaza. It was also very easy to pull up in front of the hotel for check in and then take the car to a nearby parking garage.

• Freire Castro (5/5): Bien, aunque muchos peros - El servicio es bueno, atento, cercano y amable. Están siempre disponibles para cualquier problema que surja. 1. No tiene parking, y en la web se anuncia que si que tiene. Después de hacer la reserva te avisan de que no tienen. Injustificable. 2. La habitación es pequeña para un 5 estrellas. 3. La ducha cambiaba de caliente a frio, probablemente fuese un error temporal pero a nosotros nos afectó. 4. El desayuno gastronómico me parece una tomadura de pelo. Entiendo que hacer las cosas con un cocinero está "bien" pero no cuando la cantidad es irrisoria. El desayuno tiene dos versiones dulce y salado, ambas versiones son escuetas (y yo no soy de desayunar pero ya que me siento a hacerlo, pues desayuno). Al final se ampara en que son platos hechos en casa para justificar escaseza. A mi no me convenció nada de nada, casi preferí la versión corta: una tostadita de aguacate y salmón, y no toda la parafernalia del desayuno largo.

Not your fault , but a bar opposite open until 5am and noisy from the street. Also - no lounge to relax and the the restaurant and the small sitting area ( also the breakfast room ) had a very poorly stocked bar. People want a place to sit in comfort with a liqueur? Lighting in the restaurant was very bright.

C'est bien dommage pour un 5 étoiles et ce n'est pas ce que nous recherchions. Le petit-déjeuner inclus dans la réservation est light même pour un 5 étoiles.
