Guest Reviews
- Lindsay (10/5): Mull is a fantastic place to visit. Crannich is located in a subservient place on the island so it’s easily accessible - The caravans are excellent! Very clean, comfortable and located in lovely private surroundings. Everything you need! Nothing
- Jordan (10/5): -
- Ronald (10/5): Awesome place to stay - Lovely and clean premises A little bit cold inside the caravan
- Laura (10/5): - Beautiful location, everything you needed in the caravan. Sam the host lovely and accommodating. Could do with an upgrade of the TV especially if staying in the winter months with an HDMI socket.
- Marina (10/5): -
- Harry (8/5): -
- Susan (9/5): -
- Melissa (6/5): Comfortable for a night’s sleep but not worth the price tag. - Location was good and liked that you could see the highland cows when driving into the farm. Caravan was comfortable for somewhere to sleep. Glad we had our own towels - the ones provided were damp and smelled. There was damp (mold spots) on the bedroom curtain and wall. TV was very dated and small.
- Constance (8/5): Lovely country location on a working farm. - The location, in the middle of a working farm, was wonderful. We could go for walks right out the door. The owners have done an amazing job to make the property more sustainable, planting trees, creating ponds, re-wilding the property. The beds were quite comfortable. It was a good set up for two friends, probably would have been more cramped for more people. The night star-filled sky and the sunrise from the top of the hill were spectacular. We wished for-more dish towels in the kitchen, or a supply of paper towels perhaps with a request to be judicious in their use.

- Stephen (10/5): We had an enjoyable stay. Thanks - Nice location for the north of the island. Comfortable and quiet. Wi-Fi not very good.
- Claire (9/5): Superb - Lovely location which suited us for a short stop on Mull. Very peaceful. The caravan was a good temperature even in the heatwave. Fabulous restaurant about 20mins drive away and Calgary Bay just a little further.
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly and helpful owners. The caravan was extremely comfortable and well appointed and the location idyllic. Not suitable for people who like a lively environment but heaven for those who enjoy a peaceful location. Loved it! Nothing.
- Garry (10/5): Perfect, other than the weather !!! - Location was excellent, the staff were lovely, nothing at all to complain about, a 10/10 experience Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - The caravan/cabin was spacious and clean. Can easily fit a family of 4. The location is beautiful around 20min from Craignure! The owners very friendly and polite. The farm animals are a bonus!
- Dylan (10/5): Comfortable, quiet and clean. - Comfortable cabin, big enough for family of 4. With good size communal space. Good location close to ferry to Oban and Tobermory. Heating and all appliances worked well. Great location.
We self checked in as arrived late but staff were very helpful and friendly on the phone.
Would stay again. Na
- Andrew (9/5): Perfect holiday for a stop off on Mull for a family of four. - Staff were easy to get hold of and despite the caravan being quite old it was in near perfect condition Seating quite uncomfortable
- Palmer (8/5): Mull - Location was lovely and secluded, caravan was clean, excellent shower (for a caravan) and a very well equipped kitchen. The weather was dire on Saturday but that's Scotland for you 😂
- Jane (8/5): A brief stopover for one night - S/C
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, not too difficult to find with hosts instructions. Caravan was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, host was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of interesting farm animals around, along with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape and the sky at night was magnificent. Nothing to improve on
- Dr. (10/5): We wish to come again - Warm, cosy, friendly host, ducks, peacocks and other livestock right outside our caravan. Close to nature. Oasis. So grateful for accommodating us at short notice. Hot shower. Lots of storage. Late check out. N/A
- Imogen (8/5): Very good -
- Robbie (8/5): Very good -
- Dennis (9/5): Superb - Quiet rural setting ... peaceful.
Caravan was comfortable, clean and well-equipped.
- Carol (9/5): A comfortable two night stay in a peaceful location - Set in a peaceful location, the caravan had a well stocked kitchen and was perfectly adequate for a couple of nights stay. The upholstery was stained and quite dirty. We realise it is nearing the end of the holiday season so hopefully cleaning will be carried out before the start of next season.
- Dan (10/5): 100% Perfect - This was quite an experience !
Very charming Trailer/Caravan located on a farm,
and well equiped, with comfort, 25min. from Tobermory on Isle of Mull ...
Imagine this:
you are in full nature with farm animals close-by around in the field.
You want tranquility , this is the place with a stunning view of the mountains .... (Caravan ~4)
Very charming owners : Sam , it shows they care about this place .
Definitely recommended 100% !! and will be BACK ! n/a
- Natalie (10/5): Beautiful location and well set out peaceful cabin I would definitely visit again - Lovely peaceful location. Well set out cabins with a beautiful aspect into the farm and nature. Good location on the island with access to Salen, Craignure and Tobermorey all within easy driving. Would definitely stay here again. Beds are on the smaller side but still comfortable and would not put me off staying again.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Doug (10/5): Great - We wanted to spend a night on the Island of Mull and this fit the bill perfectly. There were two couple, so this was a perfect space. It was cozy and off the beaten path (as is most everything) and was exactly what we were looking for. Hot water time slots worked, but were a little earlier than we would have wanted. Seemed the WiFi may have followed a similar time frame.
- Douglas (9/5): Superb - Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner supplied coffee, tea, biscuits and milk. A bit of a drive to the nearest restaurant. It would be fine if we had brought our own food, but we only had a one night stay.
- Pauline (10/5): Enjoyed a two night stay. Would definitely recommend and would love to return for a longer holiday. - Everything. Great location, comfortable accommodation and lovely hosts.
- Hannah (9/5): Superb -
- Libor (9/5): Superb - Reall iny amazing place
- Jaymie-anne (10/5): lovely host, exactly what we needed whilst staying over in mull for the evening. - wifi/signal could have been better but unsure if this was an island issue rather than accommodation xxx
- Donna (8/5): Would definitely like to visit again - Great views and peaceful. Good location for exploring Mull. There was free wifi but we couldn’t get it or any phone signal but it wasn’t a massive problem
- Andrew (10/5): It was what I wanted - The location was nice and remote I can't think of anything
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Henrike (8/5): Comfortable accomodation in the middle of the island - Very welcoming hosts, surrounded by animals, Low price especialy for the Isle of Mull Quite loud when it's windy or rainy cause the walls are thin (since it's a caravan you know what you came for)
The beds are short (1,80 m)
- Abbie (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Location cleanliness
- Derek (10/5): Fantastic find hope to go back for longer another time - Lovely location very nice and quite , really clean and friendly, excellent Nothing
- Artur (10/5): Nice family holiday - Nice location, easy access to local shops and restaurants near Tobermory. Lovely host, comfortable caravan.
- E (9/5): 3 nights of peaceful tranquillity. - Selfcatering. The surroundings were great ,wildlife fantastic .Would recommend to friends and family.we would go back again. Everything was excellent for our needs.
- Kathryn (7/5): Decent Value and comfortable - It was an affordable way to have 2 nights on Mull with friends. It's not fancy but it suited our requirements fine. We were there to cycle so wanted somewhere we could all stay and cook for ourselves. The rooms are small but hey - it's a caravan - you expect that. Remember to bring your Smidge ! It's in amongst a lot of trees so lots of midgies !
- Derek (10/5): Perfect little getaway - Loved the location! Woke up with highland cows outside our windows! What a dream
- Maria (9/5): Superb - What a peaceful haven from the mad, fast-paced word we live in. The peace and quiet were heaven sent. The surroundings green, full of songbird, environmentally friendly. The caravan itself clean and tidy woth a welcome cup of tea or coffee and Mull Oat biscuits. The owners friendly and informative. My only gripe: I didn't spend enough time on the site to explore fully!
- Corinne (9/5): Superb - Nice caravan with very good views. Had all you needed for a couple of nights stay. Would stay again. Dead bugs on bedroom window not cleaned up. Otherwise cleaning overall very good.
- Dominic (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (9/5): Great caravan for a few days stay. - Lovely quiet spot with great views. Caravan had everything we needed and a surprisingly lovely shower. Comfy beds. Nothing.
- Catherine (9/5): Lovely peaceful place - Nice size caravan, had everything you needed. Not to far away from the main road.
- Michael (10/5): Great accommodation in a perfect quiet spot. - Lovely secluded caravan site in idyllic surroundings 2nd bedroom is a bit cramped
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous location, scenary amazing on the doorstep.
- Claire (10/5): Cannot wait to return to the Isle of Mull and will be booking Crannich Farm Caravans again. Amazing stay! - Very peaceful and exclusive location. The most breathtaking of views surround the caravan and Crannich Farm. Sam & her daughter were very welcoming and friendly, they left fresh milk & biscuits for us arriving and gently warmed the caravan for us. Great hot shower and warm cosy caravan. Great area for wildlife spotting and enjoying a morning cuppa in the fresh air. There was nothing not to like, we loved it all.
- Cheverie (9/5): Convenient, cosy stay. - Convenient and good value for money. Host was very accommodating - allowing us to drop bags off early so we could tour around for the day.
- Eva (10/5): Cosy house on a beautiful and convenient location. - Cosy house on a beautiful and convenient location, perfect for a family and a place where is good to retire following a long and busy day. Our host, Sam was extremely welcoming and generous. I would recommend for everyone arriving with a car to the Isle of Mull.

- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Knock yourself out, this is more than just a holiday caravan. Setting is fantatics, hosts are great. - There's holiday caravans and then there's owners with passion. A three caravan site on a farm with owners that really have gone the extra mile. OK, the weather was terrible, but the location and the views were superb. Loads of wildlife, somewhere that I could stay for a week and just enjoy the location and setting. Great to see passion in their business.
Thanks to Sam for being such a great host!
- Davidson (8/5): Exactly what we needed for our unfortunately short stay on Mull - Beautiful location and well placed to visit anywhere on the island.
- Jacqui (9/5): We really enjoyed our two night stay. - Great place to stay. Caravan warm and inviting and hosts very friendly. Our bonus was seeing some highland cattle up close.
- Lindsey (10/5): Exceptional -

- Linda (8/5): Well maintained, clean and tidy and comfortable - Beautiful setting
Staff were very helpful
And easily accessible Lovely caravan
Good size
Warm and comfortable on a very windy night
- Aileen (10/5): Comfortable and warm - Warm and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. It poured for all of our stay but it was so nice to come back to this lovely caravan Nothing but just a bit difficult to find
- Samantha (9/5): Stunning location comfortable beds great shower helpful staff - Location was amazing As it is quite isolated some milk would have been good
- Stephanie (10/5): The perfect scenic and peaceful spot from which to explore Mull - A lovely, scenic and peaceful spot that worked well as a central base from which to explore Mull. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the host and the cabin/caravan was light, cosy and clean with everything we needed to cater for ourselves. We especially liked the resident Highland cows and peacocks and that there were walks we could do from the property itself. It's a short drive to Salen for a cuppa or groceries, or slightly further to the main town of Tobermory. Nothing (other than the fact that accommodation is generally pricey on Mull which is not the fault of this property!).
- Moira (8/5): Peaceful relaxing and a picturesque location - The countryside location . The animals roaming free. The owners who would could have been more friendly and helpful.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very clean, welcoming and comfortable, the only downside was a wet dog smell from the couches -
- Rachel (10/5): Host was fantastic - Beautiful landscape Wifi could be better
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Milan (8/5): Very good - Very good location. Sam was a very friendly and helpful host. Caravan was well equipped.
- Beenz (8/5): Very peaceful stay, very comfortable. - Nice quiet location and very clean inside. Host was very helpful on arrival and kept the caravan warm for us. Loved the view of the duck pond and watching the otters. Cockerel screaming in the morning 😂
- Aliah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place surrounded by wildlife 🥰 Really peaceful. Complete with necessities. Clean and comfortable! A bit out of town but not too far. Would love to come again!
- Billhamn (10/5): Exceptional - Beatyfull location. Comfortable house caravan.
- Harriet (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious caravans, comfortable beds and the host was very kind and welcoming. Lots of wildlife around the farm including an albino peacock! Get up early to enjoy the morning sounds.
