• Rachel (9/5): KI homestay - We liked the location, it was closed to the town centre. It was a nice clean and compact house There were a few issues with the house, but we got in touch with the management and they fixed all the problems we had. But they should be mindful that if your going there for a week they should have empty bins for the next people. We arrived to all bins being full but they have us empty ones straight away. They also should change the induction stove top as parts didn't work and it was complicated to use.

• Dyan (6/5): Good base to explore Kangaroo Island. Expect premium pricing during peak times. Comfortable stay but remember to bring e - Beds are comfortable. Staff is responsive. For example, when I asked if tea towels can be provided, they dropped off some tea towels immediately. Location is great for Kingscote. Facilities could be cleaner - cobwebs around BBQ and cabinets. Lack of cleaning products which made it difficult to clean during our stay. Some of the facilities that are not in good working order e.g - one of the hot plate is not working. Can only use one hot plate at a time. Dryer only work for 2mins at a time. No washing lines or pegs.

• Charul (4/5): It was cheap house but basic things were also not up to mark - Cheap house Bathroom amenities were not kept according to number pf guests and days of stay. We can not keep calling host asking for everything. We had to buy extra toilet rolls a so the host was unreachable via call. Lot of hairs on the sofa and on the bathroom floor, main house floor was not clean , lot of dust was sticking on legs Dishes and kitchen was smelly

Avec quelques travaux de remise en état il pourrait être parfait. La vaisselle n’était pas propre, il n’y avait pas de torchon pour la vaisselle, il manquait des draps dans les lits et les fenêtres ne sont pas étanches (il a beaucoup plu la dernière nuit et l’eau rentrait dans 2 des chambres)

We had a little trouble getting down the driveway because our car is low but worked it out going on an angle rather than straight in

• Parminder (9/5): Overall was good and satisfactory - Everything in the property was satisfactory. The space was good. We did have a few minor issues, but overall it was an average stay. Under beds was not cleaned and also there was spider webs,

• Lee-anne (8/5): Good value. - Good location, easy walk to Main Street, shops and cafes. Modern furnishings and spacious outdoor areas. Handy to have a washing machine for longer stays. Ample tea and coffee sachets Leaking pipe over kitchen sink. Dust under the bed and Daddy long leg spiders in one of the bedrooms. The sprinkler on the front lawn must have a faulty timer it went for so long we turned it off.
• Elizabeth (7/5): It was ok for the four of us but would have been a disaster if all the beds had been used by guests due to lack of wardr - Very comfortable beds and adequate kitchen and bathroom. Hard to find as the street numbers had been altered. Neighbours had to help us find it and they said council had caused confusion with the numbering system in the street. No tea towels in the kitchen No wardrobe space to hang clothes. Similarly nowhere to hang wet towels for potentially up to 8 people. Would have liked a dishwasher. The bins were very full and appeared not to have been emptied for weeks. No instructions for coffee maker

• Ck (10/5): Absolutely brilliant. I would choose this property every single time and recommend it to my friends - The location was perfect with easy access for beach and town centre. Very well maintained with all the usual amenities and everything well stocked up. Cleanliness aspect was a bit down. The bed linen was smelly though changed immediately however there was still a strange smell maybe due to poor washing. Also the upholstery needs vacuuming and a proper one.

• Kumudu (6/5): Pleasant - Spacious convenient Outside Bins were full when we get there. Bed with the wooden frame is very comfortable Wooden frame is very noisy and when we lie down on the bed and wasn’t comfortable when sleeping . So I had to bring the mattress down to sleep. There were spiders.

• Kevin (6/5): Stay was ok after we spent some time cleaning. - Location was good and central, had good outside areas at the property. Was only clean on main surfaces, everywhere else was filthy with old food under tables, inside cupboards dirty, behind chairs was old tissues and food and thick dust. Under beds was thick dust and mix of socks, soaps and rubbish. Outside wheelie bins were full before we arrived for our 5 nights with no where to put our rubbish the entire stay.

No one checked crockery after last guest cups n glasses were only rinsed mouth marks on glasses. I came home with a stomached bug it’s not a holiday if we have to clean up beforehand.

• Kathryn (10/5): Fabulous stay - Great communication from our host. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Great location, walking distance from everything in Kingscote. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We absolutely loved staying here. I didn't take any photos as the photos provided were so accurate and captured the property beautifully. No negatives at all!

• Hing (7/5): Homey feel. Love the outdoor patio. Comfy beds too. - Very spacious n clean. Kitchen floor a bit greasy. Shower room has mold.
• Peng (10/5): Next time, we'll come back to stay here！ - The room is beautifully decorated and can easily accommodate two families. There is also plenty of BBQ space outside and a backyard area for tea. The dining area and lounge are also spacious.
• Chieh-an (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent, right in the center of Kingscote. It's a three-minute walk to the only Drakes supermarket on the island, and the gas station is also very close. The overall stay is comfortable, and there's a capsule coffee machine available. Upon check-in, they even provide a complimentary bottle of welcome wine. Our entire family had a very pleasant stay. The price is the most reasonable in town and highly recommended. The house is fully equipped, including a bathtub for a relaxing bath. One of the most recommended accommodations on the island.

• Denise (10/5): What a find! - It is spacious with all convenient amenities, such as cooking and washing facilities, air conditioning, fireplace, bbq, 2 patios, fire pit and a carport. The location is ideal, walking distance to the beach, pier, restaurants and the supermarket. Check in and checkout was easy and we greeted with a nice bottle of wine. It was a perfect stay and had plenty of space for a family. I would definitely recommend.
