• BARINDERJIT (8/5): Lovely large house in great location - A very nice and large house, clean and very comfortable. Lots to space and in a nice quiet location very close to town The house is nice but maybe some updating is required. However it was nice and we had a great nice sleep
• Amith (9/5): It was a stay to remember - First of all, the location of the house is amazing. Secondly, the cleanliness and the maintenance of the house is top notch. Finally, all the essentials were provided which helped a lot. The water heater in the bathroom was the only problem we had faced in the house.
• Kristīne (7/5): If in cold weather - arrange with the host to heat up the house before your arrival. - Spacious house with great location. We arrived in a freezing house and only managed to get it warmed up by the morning of the next day.

• Shetty (5/5): Not a good experience and not worth the money - Just the location and accessibility to town centre The property was pretty old , Although it was clean it was not worth the money as the microwave was faulty , no wifi and Internet service . There was no staff to guide , the living room heaters not working . If you start the 3 heaters at one time , it would trip . Kids were not able to get hot water in the bath tub . After multiple attempts, I could get someone to attend later but he could not fix the Internet service and the mobile service was pretty bad as well .
• Sheru (1/5): - Owner of the house is very greedy he didn't even install Fibre internet , he just kept the wifi router only just with the power connection on it and the owner came to property in about 8:00pm to on the electric heaters with the key it felt so strange, I never had these kind experience till now I have booked so many home stays and hotels but this was my bad experience till now

The price was reasonable. The property was clean enough. For the price, the location should have been expected. It felt like a very run down part of town. Very small beds.

• Kevin (4/5): Disappointed - Clean internally Grubby exterior and junky yard.Furnished to the lowest common denominator with plastic sheeting to protect some surfaces.Calling it Wallace house and the photograph on Booking.com suggest a higher status than this run down exterior and spartan furniture deserve.The price is too high for this offering.

• Clare (6/5): Disappointing - Good table to eat at, sitting rooms had lots of options and big TV The bathroom has some mould and the extractor doesn’t work. There were 4 big towels for 4 people, nothing in terms of smaller towels or hand towels. The kitchen is very basically equipped. A random pair of flip flops were at the bathroom door. Downstairs was a bit musty, probably because the extractor in the bathroom doesn’t work. A photo of the front of the house would help find it.

• LAZARO (9/5): Weekend trip to Fort William - Very roomy, modern and warm. Has everything you need for a good stay. Walking distance from the main street. Parking was easy. You will have to use a car to go out if you were not able bodied.area a bit run down.

With work on the outside area this property could be super! It was ok for us for the night. :) The area/neighbourhood of the property unfortunately lets it down but can’t really be helped. The outside of the property was a bit off putting. But we think the host has done great with where the apartment is and looks to have updated and styled it nicely on the inside. There was a strong smell at the property.

• Stephen (5/5): It was OK as somewhere to sleep for a night, clean and tidy inside, but not in a good location. - Once we entered the property, we found it very clean with new furniture and fittings. It was clear that the building had had a hard life, but had been substantially refurbished, re-painted, re-carpeted and re-furnished. The owner has clearly done a lot of work to make the interior attractive. When we arrived, we had not received the owner's email which included an aerial photo which would have helped to locate the property. It is located in a very low status area of the town. It was not helped by a police presence which required us to be escorted through exclusion tapes to reach the property. Externally, the property looked very bad. Our overall impression was so poor that we seriously considered abandoning our booking to seek accommodation elsewhere. The location is only half a mile from the main shopping strip, but that distance is on VERY steep roads and flights of steps. Returning on foot is exhausting. The lounge room has only one comfortable chair - the bed settee is not suitable for sitting. We were unable to make the TV work. We were unable to use the internet as we had not been able to receive the email containing the security code. The floors and stairs were very noisy to walk on - this is an issue when the bedrooms are on the lower floor.

• Siobhan (6/5): The inside of the property was lovely but it was not worth the £230 I paid for the night unfortunately - The properly was lovely and clean on the inside It was a bit of a shock and the The property was in the middle of a housing estate. All the properties surrounding it were not in nice condition. It was hard to find the property hidden within the housing estate. We had to walk through a police cordon as a property next to it had been set on fire. The tv only had one channel that would work. I did ask the owner about the tv and they confirmed only one channel worked. It was not worth the £230 I paid to stay for one night

It was also difficult to heat up the apartment and the microwave only spun our food around without heating it.

• Douglas (3/5): A spartan, OK place at £100 per night, but absolutely a ripoff at the £400 per night I had to pay. - Clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. No coffee maker. No salt. Generally shoddy place that nobody seems to care about or maintain well. Secondhand, unmatched furniture. Not enough seating. Far from town. Not enough towels for the number of people on my reservation. The Booking.com app and website make information hard to find and somehow lost my reservation.

• Erica (10/5): Wonderful stay in Fort William. - The Wallace House had ample space to unwind and was close to restaurants. The property was clean and inviting. We did wish there was WiFi, and easier parking.
