Guest Reviews
- Ann (9/5): - House was nice and big. Comfortable
- Michelle (5/5): It was ok!! - Nice large open area kitchen sitting room. Nice outdoor chairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms definitely let it down. Basic, out dated, in areas did not look clean.
- Jodi (8/5): - Lovely property well presented in quiet suburb.
Very close to Simmo’s and dunsborough.
- Scott (3/5): Due to the wet carpet and response from the owner I would not stay here again. - Good space and house is nice One of the rooms had wet carpet, which could have been from heavy rains and water coming up. The owner responded initially suggesting to close the door and not to use the bedroom, but failed to respond to follow up messages. Also, the ironing board was broken and in tatters and some of the beds were not made up.
- Nadia (8/5): - Lovely large house with plenty of bedrooms and cute decor. We made use of the portable heaters as it got quite cold in the bedrooms at night. Appreciated the pantry that was relatively well-stocked as well as the games cupboard.
- Kelvin (8/5): Very good -
- Veronica (3/5): Not a pleasant experience at all - considering it cost more than $900 for a night. - Acceptable location within car access to the shops. The property on Booking.com showed the presence of a barbecue in the patio. On arrival, checked it out. There was a sign beside it saying if we leave it unclean, we would be charged $50. Lifted the lid to discover a gross, dirty and unusable barbecue with dirt that was old. The photos we took did it more justice - my guests from Bangkok took one look and were disgusted.
The master bedroom had an ensuite. The house had one bathroom and a separate toilet to be shared by the occupants of the four other bedrooms. Hardly ideal.
The place wasn't well kept. The washer/dryer still had laundry in it. The cupboard under the trough, where the detergent was, was dirty.
The windows in the dining area - one could be opened with difficulty, the other could not be opened. A ceiling vent in this area had come loose and hanging off slightly on one side.
The kitchen had no kitchen paper towels and not even one box tissues throughout the house.
When the contact returned an unanswered call, she advised that the cleaner had "forgotten" to clean the barbecue and leave the paper towels; tissues were not supplied. She offered a $25 refund - not accepted. On the way to the property, we had stopped to buy steaks etc for a barbecue in the patio, which would have been pleasant for my friends from Bangkok.
Not a pleasant experience at all - especially considering it cost more than $900 for a night.
- Fariha (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sonam (8/5): The house was neat and tidy on arrival. Enjoyed our stay. -
- Sharon (8/5): Great -
- John (8/5): Pleasant venue, thank you - It was an easy location to get to and was in close proximity to Smiths beach where we were working The bathroom vanity in the ensuite could use some new washers in the taps. They were leaking slightly.
- Samuel (9/5): Superb - Space. Huge place with good furnishing. Nothing
- Wai (8/5): Big and location - Big and quiet, easy access to everything Some of the beds are too soft, not enough toilet paper
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful house, close to everything - Location is central to every
- Cathy (8/5): Nice spot for family group - Large house, good for a group Security cameras in the patio area was over the top & an invasion of privacy. Was only informed of cameras after paying in full. Understood & accepted the one at the front door & side of house but felt the patio one was over the top.
- Shondelle (10/5): Excellent & will be back - We lover the house & the space inside. Also the outside area. Was perfect for what we needed The only problem was the milk that was left for us was out of date (Nov 22). This was no big issue though
- Sam (10/5): Fantastic value for money, great for a work group like us, or would suit a couple families easily! - House was huge and plenty of space to accomodate the 7 of us comfortably. Great facilities, tv/google speaker etc. massive outdoor area too. Really easy to duck from there to down. Bathrooms were awesome, shower pressure was the best!
