Guest Reviews
- John (9/5): - Very helpful staff.
- Carmel (9/5): We had a wonderful stay at the Craigside Manor Hotel, and we are looking forward to staying again! - The hotel is situated a short distance from Llandudno's North shore, and many rooms have wonderful views of the Little Orme, and/or the sea. We enjoyed breakfast every morning in the spacy and pleasant restaurant. The food was very good - especially the Eggs Benedict / Royal, and the staff there are extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. (We got to know some of the staff a little: Joe, Peter and Richard were particularly warm and helpful.) We returned mid-afternoon for a meal each day, and found the 'fixed-price' menu to be well worth it. Our room was comfortable, and we slept well each night. The room was cleaned daily, and towels changed if needed. The TV was well situated, though channel reception was 'touch and go' at times, due to the proximity of the Little Orme. The only reason that we have not given a '10/10' rating is due to initially encountering a problem accessing our 'booked' room, due to a problem with the 'key entry system', which necessitated us being given a different room. However, this was no fault of the Hotel, nor staff, but due to teething problems with the relatively new key-based system. Laura, the Hotel's General Manager personally resolved the issue for us promptly without any fuss, and she couldn't have been more helpful.
The only other slight criticism is that our room had no 'mirror' above the main dresser / table for me to get ready in front of etc. (The TV was fixed on the wall directly above it, facing the bed), This meant I had to stand in front of the bathroom mirror to do so: we simply bought a small mirror ourselves, but feel that it would have been helpful if mirror could have been supplied, or fitted below the TV.
- christopher (9/5): - Great location, friendly staff TV didn't work
- Neil (8/5): - £165 is over priced in my opinion. It’s a £120 room at most.
- Mark (10/5): - Location excellent, out the way of main front with own private parking. Room was excellent and food is amazing. Nothing
- Joan (7/5): Fine, as expected. - Lovely choice. No mobile email/tx inside the building.

- John (8/5): - Lovely views and very clean and tidy hotel with a nice bar area inside and out. I thought the food on offer was very average and the cooked breakfast I had was cold and the eggs overcooked. Not a fan of carparks with apnr.

Hotel was lovely and quiet and comfortable - near the sea - in a more quiet part of Llandudno.
- Gavin (5/5): Everything was good except the price. - Great location for visiting the promenade The room was expensive for what you got. I stay all over the uk and for one night with breakfast it was expensive
- Christine (9/5): - Staff all friendly. Room clean. Food very nice. First time we have stayed in a room at the back, it was very dark because of the trees and although quiet prefer the rooms on the front.
Also did see a dog in one room didnt realise dogs were allowed, i presume just in some rooms.

- Stuart (8/5): Good staff very good good value and good food and bar - Great bar and staff, very nice food nice picturesque location. Parking. Rooms need update as looked like it was a premier inn before and a bit tired Carpets in hotel. Old Premier Inn room style.

- Marilyn (6/5): we stayed there before and thought it was excellent not any more the breakfast was so so as well it - The view The ceiling in the bathroom was mouldy also the tiles the floor near to the toilet was sinking we ate a meal on the 27th we both thought it was terrible the prawn cocktail was so so and the main meal was so so it wasnt great then pie was dead hard and the peas were hard needs much improving the food been there before and it wasnt like this said it was a 5 dtar we would rate it a 2 star now
- Vincent-G (9/5): - Comfortable beds, and larger than average rooms. Large parking. Breakfast is excellent. I have been coming to Craigside for food for decades, and have never been disappointed. First time staying there for the night, and it was a good experience too. The bathroom was rather tired and needs to be refurbished. That was the only (small) negative aspect of our entire stay.
- Paul (9/5): - Position and interior quality TV signal was down due to updating of systems

Staff were super kind and friendly The service was a bit patchy, we waited ages for a drink and even longer for food. Both at dinner and at breakfast there were a number of items missing from the menu.

- Mike (10/5): The stay was very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff and excellent food from the restaurant - The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and efficient (we had a problem with the bath tap which was solved first thing the next morning). The room was very comfortable and perfectly sized for a short stay with excellent food in the restaurant. The location was very scenic and we knew it was a distance from the town which might make a difference in our next visit to Llandudno. We have stayed at your sister hotel in Llandudno which was equally as good without the great view but only a short walk into the town.
- Darren (8/5): -
- June (8/5): A comfortable hotel without all the pools and spas that we don’t use with plenty of parking - In a quiet location A fan droning most of the night
- CLARE (3/5): Awful, would not recommend or return. - Nothing. Room was at least clean, no working lights except bedside lamp, bathroom awful, freezing cold and very dated, dirty, sticky floor. Toilet didn't flush, the cheapest of cheap toilet roll that you couldn't get out of the holder.
Corridor carpet needs replacing.
Food - evening meal not great and breakfast was awful, we hardly ate anything.
Staff, not attentive .
- rachel (10/5): 10/10, we will be back - We genuinely couldn't fault any aspect of our stay.
We were greeted, and the booking in was very straightforward.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.
The beds and bedding were very comfortable.
Lovely view from the room.
The restaurant/bar area had a really nice atmosphere.
The staff at breakfast were welcoming, friendly, and attentive.
The breakfast was very good indeed. Poached eggs were perfect.
Departure was very straightforward.
The dinner menu looked excellent. We weren't able to sample this time.
We will go back!!
- Andrew (10/5): We had a great time there, the staff are lovely and really accommodatin. We've booked to go back aga - Was amazing adn lots of choice Nothing, was amazing
- Gemma (10/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Mona (9/5): Nice surprise - excellent stay - I really enjoyed the stay. Room was comfortable, and WIFI was great. The breakfast had good choices, including options for those who are gluten free. The food in the restaurant outside of breakfast was also great - food was served all day. Staff were exceptional. Decent range of local options that would deliver on Uber Eats. Parking was free and plentiful - just make sure to log the details when you check in. I had the accessible room which met all my needs. Step free, and the closest room to the hotel entrance. There are no lifts so if you can't do flights of stairs, make sure to request a ground floor room. I liked that the tea in the room was Yorkshire tea! This was inline with the star rating, but there was no safe or fridge in the room. Phone signal was poor, but that's location due to the Little Orme (WIFI was free and excellent). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- carl (10/5): -
- stephen (9/5): - Lovely location Nothing at all
- Mick (10/5): Great value stay in a great location. - Great location, comfy beds and good food, the staff are helpful and friendly. Nothing

- Frances (8/5): Great welcome in a well run hotel. - Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Good room. Quiet.
- cookie1215 (9/5): Ideal location, just far enough away from the Llanduno centre - Ample breakfast options , staff helpful and great personalities Poor tv and mobile phone signal due to location.
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Ratcliffe (7/5): - Staff were friendly & helpful, room was clean & comfortable location exactly what I needed. Card access to hallways & room sometimes didn't work (new system) no phone signal in room had to go downstairs to make a call but then got locked out of hotel reception & room 11pm, lucky a member of staff was still in office to sort it. Afternoon food was over cooked & breakfast small portions "one of everything" but okay.
- Jason (10/5): Perfect - Everything Nothing
- Tony (8/5): Pleasant stay with very clean room. Great location with a nice outside area overlooking the seafront. - Location. Cleaning staff were great. Made our room look fresh each day. We’re not messy people but they obviously take great pride in keeping customers happy! Luke-warm reception at book in. We were asked too many times whether we wanted to book breakfasts, evening meals, etc. We like the freedom to decide in our time as I’m sure others do. No need to pressure people on their arrival.
