Guest Reviews
- Guest (1/5): A lot of cockroaches - A lot of cockroaches A lot of cockroaches
- Darren (10/5): Great value for money . Ideal if your working in the area -
- Abiodun (1/5): Terrible experience. - Nothing Everything smelling environment.
- Lee (5/5): Passable - I liked the location of the property which was literally about 30 seconds away from a decently sized Sainsbury's and the price I paid was fair for what it was I didn't like the fact that the top draw where the knife and folks are kept was broken and one of the locks on one of the windows was broken. I had also noticed that the ( I e the window nearest the kitchen) the one nearest the entry/ exit door of the room looks like it needs a new hindge as the one on there is very rusty. I have take photos of the draw front and where it was hidden in the bottom draw. I also got a picture of the window nearest the kitchen but I don't think I got a picture of the hindge on the window nearest the room door
- Mathers (5/5): Passable - It wasn’t very clean and there’s loads of rats outside where u have to put bins
- Kevin (5/5): Convenient location, good value
but basic facilities. - Great central location. Pub very local and 8 minutes walk to the quay. Especially glad to have free parking, though we were concerned about whether that was the case. Bed comfortable. Bathroom looked recently updated, which was clean and smart. Room large and very warm. Appreciated towels, hand soap and washing-up liquid, etc, being provided too. Sufficiently equipped with tableware, but no corkscrew!
Adequate for our purposes, though. No running hot water to wash dishes or to wash, though shower was great. Tried to contact owner to clarify that we were ok to park without additional charge and to warn that trip switch had tripped out on electrics, but no reply on phone. Trip switch went when we first used toaster. I reset, but my wife wouldn't have been able to reach it! We doctored dining table to make top stable on its stand, as glass was only balancing, when we arrived. Similar with coffee table. Think this was a particular hazard. We took loose pane of glass off and placed at side of wardrobe to avoid knocking into it!
Carpet tiles were marked.
Drawer front missing on cutlery drawer and bedside cabinet drawers were unusable.
- Eckford (6/5): Plesent - No breakfast location good Wi fi
- Jamie (2/5): Very poor - Horrible smell downstairs, not bedding left for sofa bed, sink leaked and had a bowl underneath so the issue was know to the owner, shower also leaked
- Edonmi (8/5): Very good -
- Usman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - Close to the town. There were bed bugs, the property owner was never around and ignored my questions and concerns. There were many fights and lots of shouting outside the flat due to the area. Several nights men knocked on my door around 4/5 am trying to get in, thinking I was a prostitute! I had to call the police, and then stay in a separate hotel because my safety was compromised.
- Cees (5/5): County studio never again, the rest whas fine and oke - The studio itself was big, and there is a whashing machine for clothing.
And it,s in the citycentre A lot! We where standing outside for more than 15 minutes whaiting to get in, there was nobody to open the door. After some time we could come in, but there whas nobody to welcome us, after 10 minutes there came someone, I think the owner, no welcome or whatever. Hé saw our booking and said that the key whas in the room. That whas it, no information, no explanation, no nothing.
In the room coming, good size, but when we looked futher it whasn,'t verry clean, dirty carpet , dirty kitchen and stuff, a verre dirty bathmat, dirty matras and so on. There where 2 handtowels for the 6 days. We bought ourself new plates, forks, nifes and spoons, plates, pillows, handtowels and more. There whas also nobody to check out, so we left the key in the room, It whas a pitty but we whe were enjoyd ourself.
County studio is not for holiday , but for hire a appartment
- Mary (6/5): Pleasant - Location. Simple room. Good acess Television poor.
Not sufficient crockery or cutley
very noisy at night and early mot
Wardrobe and freezer not level
Dangerous caffee table
Open manhole outside back door, dirty sewage pump inside back door
Lack of instruction
Poor communication
- Paul (9/5): Good value for money. All the self catering facilities you would need. - The property is in a very central location in Ipswich, very close to the shopping centre, parks and waterside docks/marina. The parking at the rear was very helpful. Had a few communication problems getting the passcode to get into the property. We couldn't get a direct mobile phone signal with the owners when we arrived and were only able to get in thanks to another guest staying at the property. They had the same problem when they arrived before us. The situation with the parking associated with the property is not clear. Several Highway Maintenance vans were parked in what we believe to have been the allocated parking spaces - of which there are only about 4 spaces. There is another parking area which says for "Reserved Parking." We parked in one of these spaces for 2 nights as no cars ever seemed to be using these spaces. Are these part of the property? Just hope we don't get a fine.
- Roman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thokozani (7/5): Was okay, wouldn't mind booking the place again, very convenient. - Was okay, close to shops. Tried calling, texting and emailing the host the day before i travelled asking where to find the keys, until i arrived at the property sent a message saying 'TEXT ME' i then told him/her im outside instead of telling me to check my emails just sent an email with the instructions. I found it very unprofessional especially that i paid weeks ahead and requested day before, but place wasn't that bad accept for the noise from a club close by the friday i arrived
- Nicholas (5/5): Passable - Spacious living area and a handy car park. Booked as 2 people but only 1 bath and 1 hand towel were left for use so we had to buy one.
There were no instructions on where or how to dispose of waste.
It was not used much but the TV reception was very limited.
Broken blinds were left on the windows which were unnecessary and quite dirty.
- Teterja (9/5): Superb -
- Clayton (7/5): Good -
- Chen (8/5): Great for a short stay! - Great location to everything.
Has a washer, oven, toaster, kettle
Great large area with the TV, couch, dining table.
Secure room access with lobby key code.
Good selection of cutlery, plates, pots and pans. There would be random knockings at the door at 2:30am.
Cigarettes left in the lobby and outside the flat door.
Lots of noise on weekends (but that's excusable).
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Love love love this place! Location is fab, close to town centre and all facilities and not too far from A14.
Spacious and everything you need to live. Nothing. All is great
- Amanda (10/5): Prime location, excellent all round property. - It's self catering, but all facilities enable you to cook as you would do at home- microwave, toaster, oven and hob, fridge and freezer, utensils. Close to town centre too which meant plenty of takeaways, shops and pubs etc. Parking round the back. All was great!
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Sara (7/5): Good - Tidy flat with all amenities. Good central location. Great value, would stay there again. Outside was a bit noisy at pubs closing time but that's to be expected in a town venue.
- Kevin (3/5): Poor - Flat was clean, looks like the picture The host was terrible never saw him and I went for a whole week with no hot water, and once told the host about it; the only time he could come to have a look was 7:30-4-30 which was not helpful because I had work during them hours. And the fact that he didn’t have another key just through me off
- Ky (10/5): lovely central stay in Ipswich - I loved how spacious it was, perfect for central walk into town which is great. right near sainsburys for your little shop too there was nothing not too like I enjoyed all
of the facilities
- Subbu0309 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hurford (8/5): Good value, super location - Location and price Not enough toilet roll
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Julius (9/5): Superb -
- Maggie (9/5): Great Ipswich City Centre Studio. - Great City Centre location. Very clean, although an older building. Nice kitchen. Washer/dryer combo was nice. Shower temperature was hard to adjust. Bed was marginal. Dining table wobbly and unusable. Courtyard was messy, bags of leaves and detritus, old bicycles. Windows wouldn't stay open.
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cowley (2/5): Disjointed apartment - Good central location
That's about it Was given the incorrect codes for car parking
And the flat entrance
Dining room table top was loose and dangerous
The TV only had 3 stations
The settee was totally uncomfortable
We only had 1 pan and the hob didn't work
I would never stay there again
