- Athoub (6/5): - The apartment was very nice, modern, clean, and well-furnished. The location was quiet and pleasant, and overall, the place met our expectations in terms of comfort and design. However, we faced a major issue during our stay. We had booked a two-bedroom apartment located on the third basement level, and from the first day, the elevator was out of service. We contacted the person in charge, who told us to get in touch with the building manager to send someone for repairs. Unfortunately, three days passed and the elevator was never fixed.
As a result, we had to go up and down the stairs multiple times a day with a small child. Our large suitcases were left in the car in the basement garage, and we had to carry items and clothes up piece by piece. Even when our child was sleeping, we had to carry him up the stairs — it was very exhausting and inconvenient.
When we asked to check out early due to this issue, we were told to contact Booking.com. However, Booking.com clarified that they are only a booking platform and not responsible for property management.
Additionally, we were told that a discount would be applied due to the inconvenience, but no one has contacted us since, and no refund or compensation has been issued.
While the apartment itself was great, the lack of support and unresolved maintenance issue made our stay quite stressful. We hope this matter will be addressed seriously for future guests.
