- Chris (6/5): Stylish Georgian house surrounded by 60s unstylish suburban bungalows and houses - Great 200 year old house Style of decor
- Terrileigh (10/5): Beautiful, well facilitated and amazing hosts. - The staff were very accommodating to a late check in. Room was very spacious, had amazing facilities and bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast room was a big hit for us with help yourself, plenty of choice and very prepared! Nothing!! We really rate our stay!
- Nancy (9/5): Charming property in good location - Ideal location for exploring the New Forest Nothing

- Stuart (10/5): - Very clean and enjoyable place to stay
- Matthew (10/5): - The place itself is stunning. Local amenities not far away. The rooms are exceptionally clean, no stone left unturned. Host was extremely friendly and polite. Working away spending a lot of time in hotels etc, these are a cut above the rest. If I ever visit beaulieu or neighbouring areas, I know where ill be staying again! Thank you for having us! N/A
- Ben (9/5): Pleasant weekend stay, clean and welcoming with great access to the coast and the new forest. - It was ani e building with some character. The room was big and comfortable. Easy to park
- James (10/5): Spot on very good - Very good location for shops and restaurants very good price and all round great service Nothing
- Katarzyna (10/5): - Fantastic place - very nice large room, comfy sofa to relax and afterwards brilliant sleep in kingsize perfect bed. Extremly clean and beautifully maintaned house. Complementary breakfast in the morning and courtious, charming receptionist. Will recommend this accomodation to any friends - It is very well situated close to the New Forest as well as a short drive from Leap Beach. Bus stop likning Hythe, Southamptom and nearby villages conveniently situated outside. I found TV too difficult to operate - may matter to some more than it did to me...
- Dita (10/5): - Lovely place to visit and spend longer time.
- Michael (10/5): - Breakfast ok maybe some yogurt and cold meat Sharing bathroom
- Douglas (10/5): I just did - It was clean and comfortable. The staff was first class. Ample space to park Nothing
- Thoreya (9/5): A lovely house and very friendlydly and helpful staff - Breakfast was fine although my husband would have preferred a cooked breakfast! I know you are restricted by the property being listed but having a bathroom a distance from the bedroom was awkward.
- Mark (9/5): -
- Duncan (8/5): A comfortable stay. - A nice, friendly welcome. The bedroom was nice and clean and comfortable.
It was nice to have a fridge and chilled water and milk in the room upon arrival. Having a shared bathroom. The bathroom would also benefit from a deep clean.
Both coffee machines in the bedroom and dining room were not easy to use and seemed to have a mind of their own! I also think they are a terrible waste of plastic and foil.

- Eileen (9/5): Awesome accommodation and friendly owner - Dickie was great. - The location of Langley House was great, we could park our car in the grounds and we had the most beautiful room. Having to share a bathroom.
- Ann (6/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): Well appointment & comfortable B&B with large, luxurious rooms and Continental breakfast included. - The breakfast included is continental, that is, no hot food (unless you count the Costa instant porridge pot). With that then the breakfast was very much appreciated and very good. The coffee machine is unusual and not everyone’s taste, but was fine.
The room was very large, had a huge TV (few channels) was nice and had a coal effect gas fire which I couldn’t make work. It had lovely old pine shutters, and we closed them. The bed was large and extremely comfortable it had tea and coffee making equipment, and biscuits, and fresh milk in a good fridge.
The sitting room had a turntable and a large selection of LP gramophone records which could be played, but we didn’t realise until too late. Only two things
1. It was cold. We had to sit around in coats or jumpers. We would have used the nice sitting room but it was equally cold.
2. We of course know the room was not en-suite, but using the bathroom was tricky. From our ground floor bedroom, we had to pass the dining room them through the utility room to a small, cold bathroom. I did take a shower there but then had to greet those in the dining room as I left in my bath towel!
- Elizabeth (9/5): Two night stay - A lovely house ....very easy going staff and very helpful. The house is beautiful and the rooms lovely....well furnished and with lovely high ceilings.
Excellent location for the New Forest....very near Beaulieu and the lovely area of Lepe. Nothing
- michael (9/5): Excellent accommodation at good price. - Lovely accommodation, good self service breakfast included in the price and bed really comfortable. En suite bathroom would have been nicer but the shared ones we had were lovely with great showers.
- Michael (10/5): Excellent facilities, staff and facilities. -
- Alan (9/5): We would happily return here. - Breakfast spread was unexpected and most welcome. It was so useful to be able to use the dining room and microwave at other times too. The large rooms were beautifully appointed. Shared bathroom wasn’t a problem. Easy parking and good wi-fi.The house is located just a few minutes walk from the heath, which was handy for us as we were visiting friends who lived across the moor in Blackfield. The pillows were a bit hard for us and a light above the bedroom basin would be welcome. Water was nice and hot apart from the last morning when it mysteriously disappeared.

- Mark (10/5): - Good location,clean and comfortable, and a relaxing atmosphere. .
- KENNETH (10/5): The welcoming was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed my short stay so thank you. - The breakfast which was complementary was good and adaquate. I cannot think of anything.
- Ian (10/5): We loved our stay at Langley House, and will return. - Lovely ambience, very professional friendly staff. Emily the Manager is a credit to the owners. Nothing, faultless !!! Will rec to friends and family.
- Tony (10/5): - The complete experience wasgood It could do with on suit bathroom but understand why it hasn't due to building regulations.
- Julia (10/5): Lovely property, short drive to the new forest - Well furnished, spotless
- Susannah (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Beautiful big room, amazing bed, fabulous staff/ owners, lovely breakfast.
Will definitely be booking again!
- Nigel (10/5): Excellent, no issues or concerns at all. We will definitely use this location again. - Everything. I have to say it was immaculately clean everywhere… Our room wasn’t en-suite but we had a lovely large shower room and loo with washing facilities right outside our room so no problem.
- Clive (10/5): A very enjoyable experience - Langley house is a wondeful location, our bedroom was immaculate and beautifuly furnished. We only had the need to stay for one night but would happily have styed much longer if required. We did not have the chance to take advantage of the outdoor seating in the grounds.
- Middlemiss (9/5): -
- CARLES (9/5): -
- james (7/5): the weather and location were perfect for us. - it was nicely laid out , but a bit short on supplies. It was a Continental breakfast system, and very much similar to a Hostel arrangements. there was very little fruit and no sign of any yogurt in a small glass fronted chiller. Milk and fresh water supplied each day. it would help to supply a few chairs in the rooms, but apart from that the decorations and quality of the rooms were exceptional. The only downside was none of the rooms were on-suite. Three double rooms on our floor had to share a narrow Shower room with one toilet. thankfully only 2 of the other rooms were uses , and for only one short stay.
- Sharon (10/5): -
- Donna (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, welcoming. Close to pub for meal, shops and coast
- irene (9/5): -
- Catharina (10/5): Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Fish and Chips auch dort. Die Traverse 5 Minuten entfernt bietet kein Abendessen. Küche sperrt um 4pm zu. Dort kann man nur etwas trinken. Sehr nett.
- Steve (9/5): Quality place to stay. Enjoyable - Friendly and reliable host. Emily is both welcoming, trustworthy and puts you at ease very quickly. A perfect host.
The property has clean sensitively-restored house with large rooms. Characterful rooms were a delight and had all the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Nice garden space and shared internal spaces if you had a larger group and wanted to meet up. We felt really felt relaxed from the first moment we got there. Langley is outside the main busy holiday hot-spots in the New Forest but is perfectly positioned to access it all, especially the areas around Beaulieu The bathrooms are really excellent but they are shared, which may be missed in a quick selection on a booking site
No cooked breakfast but a great selection of continental options, which are available most of the day!
The entrance to the property is easy to miss 1st time, so slow down as you first enter Langley
Could have possibly done with dim night lights near the back door and hall landings for later in the evening/night
- Pamela (7/5): -
- Ella (10/5): - Excellent room and facilities. Lovely host. Enjoyed the privacy. Will be staying and recommending
- Cheryl (10/5): - Loved the house, owners lovely the only down side was the lack of an ensuite so had to share the bathroom. That was our fault though as read the description wrong when I booked. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom then it is perfect See above
- Valaydon (10/5): Everything went well. - Both Emily and Dickie are most friendly and welcoming.
- Williams (10/5): - A lovely house to stay in,I had a very welcoming lady which is always nice to be greeted by someone, its very clean and spacious, nice breakfast choice, nice garden,I will stay here whenever im over this way There's nothing to mot like
- carolyn (8/5): Could be better! Was it just a blip in the service! - Good location to visit Lepe country park coast and Beaulieu. Nicely refurbed bedroom. Room was not en-suite. Didn’t cater for gluten free despite informing them of intolerance. Only fruit was available so had to visit local supermarket to get gf cereal and bread for breakfast. Had to ask for shower gel and milk to be replenished.
- claire (6/5): Very pleasant stay and good value - Breakfast was very nice. Location excellent. Great staff.
- Mircea (7/5): -
- Mark (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): A haven in - Such a fab welcome and beautiful tasteful house - the decorationis amazing It's 500 miles from Glasgow !
- R Roberts (9/5): Comfortable, convenient and characterful. - Location was perfect, close to Lepe Beach, parking was easy, all very relaxed.
- karen (10/5): -
- Kimberli (10/5): Great place for an overnight. - Beautiful historical home with large bedrooms. Bathrooms are shared but there are a few to choose from, so never had to wait. The communal areas (inside and outside) encouraged conversation and we met some lovely fellow travelers at breakfast. Communication was outstanding and shout-out to Emily for coming back in the evening to let us in hospitaly. A bit out of the way with limited walkable dining options
- Burley (9/5): - Beautiful house - full of character. Well located for Calshot and Lepe beaches. Great room - comfortable bed and plenty of space. Welcoming owners. Lack of en-suite bathrooms could be a problem for some.
- wendy (8/5): -
- Yulia (8/5): Clean room and facilities. - Nice looking accommodation Only negative: lack of blackout blinds/curtains, making the room too bright in the morning.
- Lanario (6/5): -
- Stefano (9/5): What a wonderful experience comfortable bed, lovely people and definitely will come back really loved it - Quiet location, easy parking and beautiful 200 yr old lady of a house The bathroom door was very creaky that’s about all I can say on a negative side😂
- McHurryUp Simo (9/5): Meravigliosa location! - Location molto accogliente e davvero bella. Personale competente e servizi ottimi.
- Maria (9/5): -
- Toby (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): Fantastic - Beautiful house great hosts. Rooms very spotless clean and the hosts were very accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend this property to everyone. Nothing.
- Gregory (10/5): - Everything. This was the nicest place we stayed on our trip.

Will definitely be back again.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Laura (8/5): Very comfortable. - Very comfortable room. Good shower. Friendly welcome and recommendation for dinner. Bathroom was tiny albeit good sized shower, could do with more space for getting dried/dressed as a shared bathroom.
- Tracey (10/5): -
- Katharina (10/5): -
- Anonymousdevon (8/5): Comfy stay - The room was amazing.
Very spacious.
The bed was so comfortable. It did wonders for my bad back!
There was a fan in the room too...very welcome in the heatwave!
The bathrooms were well appointed.
We enjoyed sitting in the garden in the evening with our wine too, No wifi......unable to watch TV as the wifi kept dropping out.
Traffic noise started early in the morning...we had all the windows open as it was so hot.
- Carter (9/5): -
- Julie (10/5): Just a perfect stay. Highly recommended - Beautiful property in easy reach of beaches and Beaulieu, lovely villages, new forest and pubs. Great value for money, stylish decor and charming hosts. Nothing
- Melvyn (10/5): Great house, superb stay, just what we wanted - A splendid historic house set in a very nice setting. The host Dickie was most helpful when we checked in. A couple of very minor issues which were sorted out immediately which did not spoil our stay. Massive comfortable bed, had to get some binoculus to find my wife in there! The standard of the renovated place was exceptional with high value furnishings and detailing. We operate The Pitstop b&b near Bishops Stortford and it was refreshing to see a fellow b&b owners operating like ourselves Nothing really

- Kevin (10/5): Lovely stay beautiful house. - Beautiful house with lots of outside seating areas. Was a little concerned about shared facilities but two huge bathrooms with excellent showers and bath. Hand basin in room for washing/ teeth etc. Tea , coffee machine and small fridge for fresh milk and bits. Pub selling food within walking distance. Excellent beach with facilities at the end of the road. 5 min drive to restaurants in the forest and Beaulieu village. Would definitely return.
- Chris Avery (10/5): - 1st Class, beautifully & tastefully appointed, great attention to detail. Lovely facilities outside too.
