- Holly (9/5): - Lovely owners, friendly and very helpful. Gorgeous cottage with a beautiful garden and parking at the front. Co-op nearby. A really nice place.
- Nicola (10/5): Lovely stay in the Peak District - Lovely old beautifully restored cottage. Ideal overnight stay for 3 ladies & a dog. Tim & Katrina were the perfect hosts. Nothing
- Jonathan (10/5): - We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had a lovely stay in a really comfortable room. It was very handy that the house was located opposite a pub which offered lovely food. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would come back any time.
- Ian (10/5): Great location - The owners, Katrina and Tim, were really helpful and were always at hand if needed.
Room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable.
Lovely garden at the rear of the property.
Parking on site is always a bonus.
Central location in the village close to everything you may need.

- Elena (9/5): An excellent house with a rich history. Lovely rooms and tasty breakfast - An excellent house with a rich history. The hosts are extremely friendly and happy to talk about the building and its history. We had a lovely room and a delicious breakfast. It's an amazing place to enjoy some fresh air, slow life, hiking and pub visits.
- Stephanie (10/5): - A gorgeous view from the beautiful garden, nice cosy room, loved the added touch of milk in a mini fridge. Parking right by the front door. Friendly hosts. Great location for our activities (Thors Cave, Chee Dale Stepping Stones and Mam Tor). Dog friendly- no complaints from Drax. Hot shower. Beds were nice a comfy (said the 10 year old- I agree). Towels provided, enough plug sockets. Close to a play park if travelling with children.
- Gaurav (9/5): - The room and bathroom were excellent, very comfortable and homely. Very hospitable and enjoyable Maybe access to microwave would be helpful
- Edmunds (8/5): - Nice owners, friendly and helpful
Quiet and literally 2 mins walk to the local pub for food.
Clean room with good en-suite - our twin room was perfect for an overnight stay.
No issues at all....
- Carmen (7/5): Overall the property is good value for money in comparison with other properties. - Location close to other villages we were wanting to visit. Able to park outside the property. Very nice quite village, not overcrowded with tourists. Good advice from the owners that we needed to book a table at the pub opposite as this can can busy. Only a few small things. Unfortunately the macerator toilet was a bit smelly, difficult to vent as no window in the twin room toilet, the toilet is very noisy when flushed. The toothbrush holders were not clean.
- Lee (7/5): Friendly couple, with lots of interesting information about the property and area. Great value, and relaxing breakfast! - Friendly hosts, good value, accommodating with late notice breakfast request. Clean and good breakfast.
- Williams (9/5): - No one there to greet me on arrival so could not access property. The owners thought I had cancelled the previous week however booking.com advised my cancellation request had been denied and my booking was still valid.
Was not advised where Wi-Fi code was, eventually found it in a booklet the following morning but was not obvious and not pointed out to me
Bed really comfy and facilities in room and bathroom were brilliant See above also

Petit déjeuner continental très correct à prix raisonnable.
- Keara (10/5): A great base for exploring the Peak District - Dog friendly accommodation that we booked last minute to spend our anniversary in the Peak District. Perfect location for exploring, but also Bradwell itself was a lovely place to walk around.
We were made to feel very welcome. There was a large bathroom across the landing from the room we booked so that was easy to access.
We've stayed in plenty of clean hotels etc but our room and bathroom truly were spotlessly clean here!
Would definitely recommend this place to others :)
- Heale (8/5): Great value, very welcoming - Didn’t have as left early

One of us gets a high fever because of that.

- Peter (10/5): zeer gastvrij - prima geen idee
- belinda (7/5): - Lovely 300 year old house, clean and comfortable The shower is a bit hit and miss too hot or too cold took a while to get right temp and tolit very noisy when flushing.
- Robathan (10/5): Great visit to Lyndale Cottage - Tim and Katrina were excellent hosts.. we needed to collect key earlier and they were more than accommodating. The house is grade two listed and a different experience to staying in a hotel. Many things to experience in the area, would certainly stay again. There was nothing to dislike

- Paula (8/5): Peak cavern, - Most welcoming, parking outside . Very quirky . Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Hard to get a taxi to take us to the concert .
- Charlotte (7/5): Cosy - Friendly hosts, clean room, fresh milk! I prefer to stay in hotels and hadn't realised this was a room in someone's house. Not a problem, they were quiet and pleasant, more a mental preference.
- Julie (10/5): Lovely relaxing and very comfortable B and B. We would definitely stay again! - Beautiful quirky property. Very clean and great attention to detail. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Tim and Katrina had thought of everything and were great hosts! Use of dressing gowns was a lovely addition and even makeup remover pads in the bathroom (something which I often forget). Stunning garden to relax in, which we were encouraged to make use of. Easy parking.

The hosts are the nicest couple with great knowledge of the peak district, who happily gave us directions to various places to explore & eat.
The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and we stayed for two nights... we would go out for the day & arrive back to fresh milk, water & coffee in our room, which was an awesome added touch.
We loved the garden & how well they have managed it to such a high level given its sheer size.
We most definitely look forward to visiting again. I didn't like that we had to leave.

- M. (9/5): Superb - Katrina & Tim we're amazing hosts, and made me feel welcome from the start. The location is ideal if you want to go hiking and explore the Peak district! - Suzie (10/5): Lovely! Great value for money and wonderful hosts - The hosts were fabulously helpful. I accidently booked the wrong date and reached out quickly and they responded and were able to move it, despite it being my error. The room was pretty big, cosy and well located for the pub!

- Nick (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Graeme (9/5): Superb - Lovely and friendly hosts.
Building is old, listed and quirky but has modern facilities including the important good shower.
I didn't use it, but fresh milk was supplied in a small fridge. Not really a dislike but the angle of the bedroom door and wall made me think the door was open whenever I saw it. It wasn't open but it took my brain a while to process that.
- Alison (10/5): Little gem - We received a very warm welcome from Katrina and Tim. We stayed in the double room, which, as well as being spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and plenty of room for our dogs bed. Our bed was extremely comfortable. We had sole use of the spacious bathroom, which was just across the hall. Despite the snow and freezing temperatures outside, the house was lovely and warm. We had a delicious meal at the pub across the road where we found the locals to be very welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation and hope to visit again. N/A
- Peter (8/5): Lovely hosts. Enjoyed our stay. - The couple who run it were great. We couldn't get a meal at the pub across the road (didn't realise they'd be packed out), so we ended up with fish and chips from down the road, brought it back and ended up eating dinner with the hosts. Great conversation and interesting to hear about the district and surrounds. If you're going to want to eat at the pub across the road, make sure you book and arrive early. Struggled to get noticed by the staff and then was told there was no chance of getting a meal, which was disappointing to say the least. Got a "get lost" vibe.
- Annushka (10/5): Very pleasant hosts and amenities were well catered to! Delightful -
- Simmons (10/5): Comfortable warm and welcoming place to stay with genial hosts - The room was warm, welcoming and comfortable and the hosts could not have done anything more to make our stay so enjoyable We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and looking forward to our next stay N/A
