• john (10/5): Absolutely perfect for that little break away - We loved everything about cabra cottage absolutely beautiful The only thing we would change would be somewhere inside the cottage to hang and dry our wet cloths and towels but that is it
• MATTHEW (10/5): Everything about our 3 nights stay at Cabra Cottage was perfect, it was a little piece of heaven - The location was stunning and the views all around took our breath away. Definitely this beautiful cottage was in a superb location. The cottage itself was lovely with everything you needed. The snacks and Prosecco left were such a nice gesture and was very much appreciated. Sitting in the hot tub in the sunshine after a busy day and looking out at the view was like a little piece of heaven. We will definitely be returning to Cabra Cottage, it was so relaxing and peaceful and just what we needed. Thank you so much John and Grace. To be honest there was nothing we didn't like, we had everything we needed and more during our stay.
• Seán (9/5): Quality property… A hidden gem - Location was great, rural and secluded. Presentation of the property was superb, obviously renovated to a high standard, with quality furniture. Small and compact but perfect for a couples retreat. Would highly recommend.

• Aisling (10/5): A little piece of heaven 💖 - Where do I start. Cabra cottage is amazing ❤️. I liked everything about it. Went for 2 nights of me time and wow did I need it. So relaxing. The hot tub I loved. I felt so safe there. It was just exactly what I needed. I do know that I will be returning there sometime soon hopefully. Guys ye definitely hav to put this on your to do list for this new xx Cannot think of one thing. Oh put a blind on the door window🤣

Excellent service from hosts as was kept informed and nothing seemed like a hassle or problem Minor improvement suggestions. Could add towel rail to dry towels easier and hamper could also include a loaf for toast in the morning

• Pat (10/5): I had a great time, and I left with the feeling of wanting to return again soon! - What a beautifully and sympathetically restored vernacular Irish Cottage this is,complete with exposed original stone, both inside and out, as well as boasting all of the comforts modern day renters require. The view is stunning, and the beautifully lit outside area brings into focus the amazing hot tub , raised to allow panoramic views of the valley below. The little touches bring a lightness to the home, from the welcome sign on the gate to the wonderfully chosen ornaments at the entrance and by the fireside. I would highly recommend this cottage This was a last minute booking , and I didn’t arrive until 10 pm. I’m only sorry that I didn’t have more time to immerse myself fully into the cottage experience

Really enjoyed our two night stay and all the little extras. I will definitely be back to enjoy again. Only negative is the window in the bedroom and front door, a little blind during the summer months.

The welcome parcel was a lovely touch and the views and privacy while in the hot tub were amazing. Will definitely look to get back again Nothing we didn’t like but we forgot our board games so maybe one or two of those would be a nice addition but it’s not a criticism. We are just forgetful.

• Natalia (10/5): Relaxing, cozy & pet friendly cottage- perfect! - Such a hidden gem of a cottage in the Mourne Mountains. We are just back from our overnight and everything was perfect down to the treats & bubbly left for us to the dressing gowns & slippers for the hot tub. The attention to detail was fantastic and I don’t know who was more relaxed us or our dog! The cottage has a real warmth to it with added personal touches from fresh milk/orange juice in the fridge to locals guides provided by John & Grace. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to return in the future!

• Clinton (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a spot in the Mourne Mountains, from the time we arrived till the time we left , could not fault anything, From the welcome snacks pack and Valentine's package , Fresh milk and orange juice with a very well chilled fridge, Hotub and views were the icing on the cake , if I give any couples anything from this review, wait till dark to have your relaxing time and drinks in the hotub Pics don't do this hidden gem justice, I'll leave a few of mine I got here with review 100% 5☆ all way wanted for nothing . A massive thanks to John and Grace for making myself and my Girlfriends first Valentine's together so memorable and magical. We will definitely return again for a future visit . All of the rooms were well kept and cozy, the hot tub was easy to use, the location was stunning and convenient. We had trouble getting the hot water to work and the owners came and fixed it very quickly. Absolutely loved our stay here. Wish I stayed longer

Not a criticism at all just a suggestion. A microwave would be useful. Small sachets of butter left in the fridge would be great. A guide left on how to operate the under floor heating. At times I thought it was cold . A blind on the door on the window.

The fixings and furnishings are 5 star and the attention to detail....everything at hand to fresh juice and milk supplied in the fridge with a little goody bag .. The host had contacted us prior to arrival to inform us if any problems to inform them. They then supplied us with 2 contact numbers The hot tub had stunning views of the country side and really private. Notting to fault . Have stayed in 5 star hotels and they wouldn't be as good as this place

• Megan (10/5): I would definitely come back just don't know if I would cook again at the property. - The location was beautiful and so was the view. Really enjoyed the hot tub was so relaxing and we got sunny days to experience the fresh countryside air. The property itself exceeded expectations it felt so cosy and yet with a modern twist the bathroom and bedroom were of most cleanliness. No hairdryer at the property had to ask for one where the property owners were of most assistance. If people were to come and cook food I feel there needs to be more utensils such as wooden spoon Tongs and more than just one pot and pan this made preparing dinner quite a difficult task. I loved the touch of the kettle being put on the stove but I feel like a kettle that you could plug in would be a little better advertised

Very well kept The only thing I could recommend but it definitely wouldn't put me off coming back would be some sort of roof or enclosure for the hot tub so you can still enjoy it while in the good old Northern Ireland weather which is unpredictable
