• Morag (9/5): I enjoyed my stay and would go back again, for sure. - Breakfast was lovely, the room was warm, quiet and very comfortable. The bed was wonderful and I slept very well. Very clean and well lit. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, really nice. Needs a safety handle in the shower and I didn't like the fact that the shower was timed and water temperature was only 55. I slipped in the shower and came down pretty hard as they was nothing to hold onto.
• Jonathan (7/5): Good overall, just a shame about lack of restaurant facilities. - Lovely clean, modern rooms, very peaceful rural location, lovely views. Unfortunately, because of low number of bookings, the management had decided the previous week not to open the restaurant. This meant no evening meal or breakfast available on site. Whilst we understand the business reasons, we should have been informed in advance, so we could make alternative arrangements.

• Gabi (5/5): Made nice by the lovely staff but a bit disappointing. - Small friendly campsite, very quiet & friendly and helpful staff. We felt the photos were misleading as we had no idea until we arrived that we’d be staying in a camper van. We thought we’d booked a cabin with two bedrooms due to the majority of the photos being of the rooms from the B&B on the property and the wooden buildings. There were no photos of the outside of the camper vans either. There was no mention of the booking being a mobile home anywhere on booking.com or the property website which we also looked at prior to booking, so this was disappointing as the mobile home didn’t really suit our needs and we wouldn’t have booked it if we had known that was what we were staying in. We had turned down other places due to the accommodation being mobile homes so we’re very disappointed when we arrived and felt mislead. It was also much more out of the way then we were expecting with no pubs / restaurants in walking distance other than the on site restaurant which is often closed early due to not being booked up, meaning you can’t go there for a drink in the evening a lot of the time either.

Non me lo spiego perché si vedeva che le lenzuola era pulite e stirate però non capisco come mai anche sotto alle coperte c’erano questi lunghi capelli castani. Ne avrò tolti almeno una decina…. Mi dispiace ma mi ha fatto schifo. Probabilmente saranno stati di chi ha fatto il letto. Il bagno pulito e la moquette nuova.

I really liked the fact that you could just get an excellent evening meal and breakfast on-site without having to go anywhere - convenient in a rural area where a lot of people will be driving.

• eaglen (7/5): Wayfarers Inn/ Campsite - The room was clean and adequate. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. You had your own parking space. It also provides a hair dryer which was good. If you were camping the shower blocks and washing facilities were very clean. The campsite was also immaculate. Due to the people staying next door in the lodge, obviously, this is not the owners fault, but the walls are thin. You can hear everything they were very noisy. Unfortunately, the shower was a little annoying! You have to keep pushing the button as it only lasts 10-15 seconds at a time. I am all for saving water, but this is ridiculous! The Bistro, in my opinion, was a little expensive, and the lady serving us was very blunt. However, Craig, the owner, and Jo were polite and courteous. The tea and coffee facilities were not replenished daily. Apparently, you need to ask for this to be done, which we didn't know. Before leaving the accommodation, your asked to strip the bed however, when i did this there were stains on the mattress cover, which i didn't like. You were also asked to take your rubbish with you, which I have never done before! I think if we were camping, it would have been better as there were shower blocks and washing facilities to use, etc.which were all clean although not used by ourselves.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. To our pleasant surprise, we were informed that our booking had been upgraded to one of their holiday homes — and it was absolutely beautiful. The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We genuinely appreciated the thoughtful service and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

• Paula (10/5): Really easy and comfortable stay. I would come back - The property was clean, fresh and comfortable. Everything worked and was in good order. Really friendly owner and I enjoyed my stay here very much. There was nothing that would stop me coming back again. However, for the price I am wondering if a breakfast of sorts could be included. At the same time the breakfast that was on offer looked noce and reasonable price.

• Kenny (8/5): Overall I like the place and would go back if visiting Cornwall again - The room is nice, new and clean. Decent size and good wifi. Stuffs are nice. Just a reminder that need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. Our room located right above the campsite’s toilet main door, the doors slamming were a bit loud.
• Karen Zoe (6/5): Too off the beaten track - I only ate breakfast on my last day before checking out. I had the vegan one and it was excellent, though rather pricey at £15. Though the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Though the room was hot at night and no air conditioning. For the price of 3 nights the rooms should have included a bath and a shower . The main proprietor, he could have been a bit more friendly and I think breakfast and dinner could be included. The place was off the beaten track and discriminated against sole travellers, without their personal transport. The public transport is appalling . So many people visit Cornwall, so there should be decent public transport. The nearest towns were virtually inaccessible.

• Gabor (9/5): - We spent three nights in the caravan park in one of the en-suited rooms. The stuff is friendly and there is a designated parking space for every room. We could use the freezer for our cooler box. The bathroom is clean and simple with an easy to use shower. The bed was little bit small for 2 people but it was clean and okay for 3 nights. Overral I was very satisfied with our room and I can recommend this caravan park.

Small room in a lodge in a caravan park with a shower that turned itself off after 15 seconds Tiny bathroom as the door only just closed past the handbasin. No room for a chair. Expensive for what it was. Walls very thin as we could hear the conversation mect door very clearly.

Very basic shower - ceiling rose and push-on tap: like those at a swimming pool or gym. Breakfast elements priced separately felt mean and ended up rather expensive.

• Penny (9/5): Great overnight stay in comfortable and clean newly built lodge with good bistro onsite. - Modern bright and clean. Availability of a bistro very welcome. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t care for the push button nature of the shower and would have appreciated more toiletries in the bathroom.
• Philip (10/5): A surprising little gem of a campsite with very comfortable lodges, great onsite facilities and really friendly service. - Very clean and well appointed, good range of equipment and a quiet, secluded location. Superb restaurant and bar on site; the owner, Craig, made us most welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed an outstanding dinner in the “Flying Duck”. Good range of beers, wines and spirits, excellent coffee. Only stayed one night en route to Penzance helicopter but this is a great location and we hope to return. Nothing at all, it was perfect for our stay.

Petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux et diner également. Information sur de nombreuses adresses d'activités ou de restaurants très appréciées. Utilisation possible d'un lave-linge, séchoir. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de jouer au billard, dommage ! Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour. Je ne vois pas, tout était parfait !

Thank You! - Great location for us to be near our family in Relubbas plus it was also central to get to beaches and coves in the area. • Laurie (9/5): Superb!! Lovely site! Excellent value! - Superb breakfast! So good we came back for Sunday Roast ( Excellent too!) Lovely site. Lodge was very clean, modern and very well equipped. The site is lovely and looks over open fields. Craig and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very small suggestion to add icing to what was a really enjoyable stay: Perhaps a small welcome pack, with tea, coffee, sugar and milk (Could be sachets) for those late arrivals. This is probably not a a problem for stays in the main building as I am sure that these are provided, or for long stays; as guests would probably come prepared.

• Kim (10/5): We will be back! - Our room was upgraded for us without asking possibly because the owner (Craig) remembered us from a previous visit. When he realised my husband had his birthday that day we were treated to some extra touches in the dining room as we had booked Sunday lunch there. The breakfast and restaurant meal was delicious and excellent value We wanted a dog free, adults only short break and that's exactly what we got. Very peaceful indeed Nothing. Even the stormy weather was made bearable.

Would have appreciated a chair in the room other than a large wardrobe. Only negative a mix up over breakfast options, double check it's included when booking.
