Guest Reviews
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful accommodation, wonderfully friendly hosts. The cottage is located perfectly for the wedding we were attending for that long weekend but also as perfectly situated for a night out in Ironbridge (as we did on the first night stay). Walkable, flat terrain for anyone less mobile, literally less than ten minutes stroll and you're at the foot or the Ironbridge itself. The walk being pleasant due to a handful of great establishments for drinks/ meals along the way. We had an amazing meal at the recommendation of the hosts and it really did hit the spot.
We will absolutely be returning for a cheeky weekend away in the future. Parking for one car is a welcome addition, the use of a full kitchen, sofa bed was very comfortable as was the bed itself, lovely bathroom the garden a nice addition and very comfy living room. Not one complaint from us at all. Home from home. 😁
Thank you Jo and Wayne, we hope to see you again next year when you have availability back. There's nothing to not like, perfection!
- Ash (10/5): Exceptional - It was a nice hide out chill relax The surrounding comfort like home from home..defo book again now I found this place
- Gill (9/5): A peaceful treat, in a great location. - A very comfortable, spacious property with great facilities in a lovely location. It’s very peaceful, but within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and pubs.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely warm welcome from Jo. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Ideal spot for local sops, pubs, etc. We would certainly recommend and look forward to visiting again. Thank you

A private garden and patio area was a bonus, great to have parking too.
Lovely friendly host and gorgeous dogs!
Excellent location, 5 minute walk to Ironbridge centre, great base for walks or to drive to other parts of Shropshire.
- Matthew (8/5): Perfect base for a few days in this wonderful village - Cracking location
- Andrew (10/5): Very comfortable, great location and excellent value . - Perfect location for visiting our relatives. Also, for anyone wanting to stay close to Ironbridge. Excellent value for money. Large lounge with garden. Beautiful.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (10/5): Will definitely utilise again if available when in area - Clean, comfortable, quiet Nothing
- Claire (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (6/5): Pleasant - A pint of milk in the fridge Could do with some more things in the kitchen, i.e. a pair of scissors for example
- Candy (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was so friendly and helpful. The cottage was very clean and well maintained.
Bathroom lovely and shower had decent pressure, there were also toiletries available which is a nice touch.
Main bedroom was large with big comfy bed and storage for clothing.
Kitchen was well equipped and had an airfryer, which we didn't realise, so that's handy if you are staying a few days. We only stayed one evening but if we had to come to the area again we would definitely return.
Own garden area with chairs and patio which can be enjoyed directly from the cottage.
Just to note the additional sleeping is a sofa bed which was fine for our kids but I wouldn't recommend for an adult. Not a negative just worth noting depending on who intends to stay.
Check in instructions could be clearer I wasn't sure where to park as felt I was blocking two vehicles and I couldn't see on the app any instructions as to how to access the cottage. The owner was lovely and came to meet us but as it is based within the grounds of her own house I was conscious about accessing the wrong area.

Definitely me and my girlfriend booking another trip there so so I can show her all around of beautiful countryside. Shop and restaurants are quite local, not so hard to find anything around. Thank you for Everything
- Maria (10/5): Felt really at home in the cottage and really enjoyed Ironbridge and surrounding area. - JO. the host met us but there was a key safe if host was not there. Jo was very friendly and showed us round the cottage.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable and close to Ironbridge and museums. Parking on site. Lovely patio area for sunny days and evenings. The cottage may be not suitable for people with mobility problems there are a few steps up to the cottage.
- Phillip (9/5): Superb - A lovely cottage which was clean, warm and spacious. Would be lovely to stay at any time of year.
- Jennifer (9/5): A lovely home from home - Location was great. literally 10 minutes to everything we wanted to see or do. Very easy to get to and park. Lovely home feeling with great comfort. We spent a fair amount of time there and it was very nice to spend time in the house. No noise from the adjoining house. Large kitchen for the property.
- Deb (10/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful location - In a beautiful location a stones throw from the centre of Ironbridge, the cottage was perfect for a weekend retreat. It had everything I needed and was super comfortable and warm (especially the bed!) Communication with the hosts was fantastic and they were very accommodating with regards to my arrival time.

- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Teresa (9/5): A fabulous little home to stay in while visiting family - The amazing views
- Richard (8/5): Enjoyable and in a very pleasant part of the country. - Jo was very helpful. She guided us to the property. There were not many streetlights and we'd been driving for a while. She took us to the property, went through the keypad routine, opened the door and explained things inside -all as you might expect. She had got in some coffee/tea and milk so we could get a drink. Then she ran through the facilities available locally. Jo made sure we were OK and then left.
Shortly after we went to get some food in the village. It was easy as the property is a short walk away. What surprised us was just how close it was to Ironbridge. The following morning we went down to the village and had a walk around. The property is central to the whole area and it would be easy to get to any of the Ironbridge attractions. Unfortunately, we were there only for one night. The place's facilities would make a good location for a longer stay. No complaints.
- Lindsay (10/5): Incredible - Wonderful, comfortable, and everything you need. The bed is the best! Lovely host and so kind and friendly. No negatives at all
- John (10/5): Exceptional - The house was fantastic, with a great patio and garden in the front and rear.
Everything inside that you need, and exceptionally clean..highly recommended 👌
Jo and Wayne Cound not do enough for us as we were attending our son wedding, and thank you Jo for the bottle of presseco Nothing, definitely be back now for a base when we visit family.
- Hannah (8/5): Thank you, Jo for a good stay overall. We really enjoyed ourselves. - We loved the location and meeting JO who was friendly and helpful. It was an excellent base from which to explore Ironbridge Gorge on foot and the facilities were modern and clean. We eventually got the hot water to fill the bath, but slowly, as the pipes took an age to heat through.
The steps up to the property were steeper than we would have liked.
- Neil (10/5): Lovely stay would highly recommend -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (10/5): Great holiday home, perfect location to walk to all the museums. - The house was very spacious and nicely decorated. Lovely patio and garden. Hosts friendly and helpful. Excellent location to walk to most of the museums and only 10 mins walk to the bridge. It was perfect.
- Coral (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was clean and welcoming and made our stay. The location was perfect just a short stroll into the main centre.
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely setting, gorgeous decor, really comfortable and Jo (owner) was so welcoming. Nothing, it was perfect. Will definitely be looking to stay again in the future!
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (10/5): Just perfect - Everything Nothing
- Chloe (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Highly recommended and location is fantastic. - Great apartment in a fantastic location. Lovely double patios if its sunny. Really spacious. Fully equipped kitchen so you can cook full meals. The location is great – only a few hundred yards into Ironbridge itself and 2mins from a good Co-op. To those who don’t know the area Telford is a excellent shopping and entertainment centre, 12 mins drive away. Recommended. Nothing
