• Mattthew (8/5): Great cottage, brilliant location and well supplied. - The cottage is well located for the town, has a decent kitchen and lounge space for relaxing in. The bathroom was massive, bedrooms comfy and spacious. Only 2 small negatives. 1. The drains smells when the toilet was flushed. Not sure when it was last used 2. The smaller twin room was cold probably due to external walls. A extra blanket would have been issued.

• Øistein (8/5): Veldig sentralt og fin størrelse på huset. - Kort vei til byen og spisesteder. Kort vei til sjøen Litt usikkerhet rundt parkering. Skulle fått beskjed om at vi skulle parkere til høyre på parkeringsplassen. Litt ubehagelig sovesofa.
• Shaun (10/5): Charming cottage in the heart of Torquay. - The cottage is charming with a lovely character, the interior had been really well done by the owners. It's hard to find space on holiday for a family of 5, but with the sofa bed it was perfect. Having a parking space was a big bonus too, as Torbay is a hard place to park at properties. The hosts checked in on us to make sure everything was OK, which we appreciated. It's well located for Torquay, near to everything we needed, including the beach, harbour and amenities. Nothing, this property is a rare find!
• Linda (9/5): Almost perfect ! - Very clean, comfortable cottage. Superb location and parking. I would recommend it. The stairs are very steep if you aren't that able bodied, although there is a good hand rail.
• John (10/5): Comfortable great facilities - great location and parking :) - Great stay here in the English Riviera amazing location the yacht marina harbour and main shopping, restaurants, bars are just steps away, with the beach an enjoyable 10 min stroll past the tropical palm trees.. Just 1 street back on a quiet road so you have the best of both worlds a quiet street and banging location . And even better off street parking to boot - a real bonus in the centre of town. Really comfortable stay great facilities - cottage charm and modern combined. You really can’t go wrong if you want a short stay in Torquay highly recommend ! Thanks Jamie & Milly
• Hilary (9/5): Would highly recommend. - Lovely old cottage in a great location close to the harbour in Torquay. We found the rooms to be clean, spacious and well equipped, the beds comfortable and a large modern bathroom. Parking on site is a bonus as the town, harbour and beaches are easily walkable. We appreciated a phone call from the owners checking that everything was ok. Not keen on the plug in and spray air fresheners in some of the rooms. Not good for asthmatics.
• Steven (10/5): A great few days away celebrating turning 60! - Wonderful cottage in great location. Rooms are a good size with a generous size bathroom and good facilities. Easy access to harbour and good for parking. It was all great!

The stairs were in need of a hand rail there was nothing to hold on to they were very steep, my friend and myself have mobility issues it made it very hard to get up and down the stairs. Also found the step up to the sink and bath in the bathroom very tricky.

• Tim (9/5): A lovely place for the weekend by the sea. - What a great location, just a short walk to the marina and the sea. Local shops were great, and a great atmosphere in the town. The bathroom was huge, as were the bedrooms and we all slept well. Great to have a parking space out front, too. All good, no complaints.

• Ian (5/5): I have written enough. - No breakfast provided. Location superb. good car park and great beds. Good TV and wi-fi. As previous occupiers have said the absence of a handrail on stairs is serious. Toilet roll lasted 2 hours and but for closeness of CO-OP could have been difficult. Step in landing dangerous and the landing light had to be kept on all night. It needs a proximity switch here. Same thing in toilet the step is unusual and a proximity light would be useful.

Jamie, the owner, is really nice and couldn’t do enough for us. There were plenty of towels and an impressive amount of plug sockets. The use of the full drive is such a great selling point. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again, it’s perfect. There were no negatives.

There was a homely feel to the property and even our 7 month old felt this :) There could have been more cooking implements,ie more than one baking tray for the oven.

• Sarah (9/5): Great holiday home in a great location with a great host. Don’t hesitate to book this place! - Great holiday home in a perfect location to explore Torquay and local sights. Walking distance to a lovely sandy calm beach- perfect for my little one. Free parking right outside (for 2 cars) which is a bonus as it’s chargeable on the street. All amenities in the kitchen and big bathtub and bathroom with shower too. The host was fab and was really helpful- he provided a travel cot and high chair for us, and let us park for slightly longer on check out. Apps on the TV like Netflix. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again. Lack of hooks for towels, but this is minor.

Comfortable bed and clean throughout. Nice large family bathroom and super large bath. Could have had some general amenities in the bathroom, that would have been a nice touch. Needs side lamps in living room so you can sit in the evening without just the main bright light on. Needs more amenities in the Kitchen to be provided such as kitchen towel/tea towel, cloths etc. But all minor small things, we enjoyed our stay.
