• Kate (9/5): Lovely property in scenic location. - We stayed as a family of 6 adults in this very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated villa on the outskirts of Skopelos town. We absolutely loved staying at this accommodation. The views over the bay and to Alonnisos were incredible. The two large balcony areas were great for sunbathing or relaxing with a drink in the evening. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were all good sizes (however the bed in the top room was somewhat uncomfortable). The stylish kitchen and living area is mostly well equipped and there were only a couple of items which were frustratingly absent such as a frying pan and a toaster. The washing machine was a really useful addition for our week long stay. There was a knack to closing and opening the front door but this was well explained by our welcoming rep Manolis (more on him later) and so it did not cause us issues as have been written in some of the other reviews. Location-wise, the property is about a 20 minute walk from Skopelos port town centre, however there are some long and very steep hills in both directions. We enjoy walking so had no issue with this however it is definitely not suitable for people with mobility challenges. A taxi to and from the property with our luggage was definitely the right choice and cost 15 euros each way. The charming Glyfoneri beach is a 5 minute walk down the hill and is a mainly quiet, sand and pebble mixture. There are a few shady spots but these get snapped up quickly. The Glyfoneri taverna over the road from the beach is a friendly, family run restaurant serving delicious and well priced Greek dishes with lots of lovely fresh seafood included on the menu. As mentioned we were welcomed by the company rep Manolis. He was extremely helpful and was on hand via WhatsApp to answer any queries or questions we had. He also recommended some lovely local bars and restaurants. Overall I would rate this property a strong 4.5 out of 5. We would highly recommend staying here.
• Mira Catana (8/5): - THE VIEW IS AWSOME! 2 great terraces! Air conditioned really ok in every room. - large space - parking lot - good facilities in the kitchen, well equipped - clean - the owner has a contact person who waits you at the port and shows you the way. I appreciated it. Quiet area, no noise from the street. - From the start the main entrance door got blocked and it was stressful. The owner knew the problem but it seems they don't want to change the mechanism because too expensive. - Cleaning at 3 days, with previous confirmation message it's ok BUT.... After 3 days, NO TOILET PAPER BROUGHT and we were 5 persons for a 10 nights holiday! I asked for the toilet paper 2 times before they brought it. This should not happen EVER at this price per night (it is an expensive accommodation, so we expected another level of cleaning service). Moreover, their cleaning service every 3 days means only changing sheets and towels! When I asked about cleaning the bathroom, the sink, the taps, the mirrors, the answer was more than surprising:"We are rather more interested in the first day to be perfect when you get in the house as a guest..."!! In other words, the following days you manage by yourself, the rest of the holiday is not very important for the guests'comfort... This is not normal when you pay more than 2600 Euro per 10 nights! For that sum of money you expect much more.

• Karen (9/5): Loved our skopelos stay - loved the home. so much space. the kitchen and decks were fabulous. the views are amazing from the living areas, decks and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. great location even though the road is steep and a bit scary. it is very near the only beach in skopelos. there were also some lovely extras provided - bottle of wine, milk, juice, coffee pods, snacks, butter, condiments. the sunrises are amazing. you definitely need a car to stay here but that allows you to see so much of this beautiful island. there are some areas for improvement: the front door has ongoing lock issues - we were locked out one night. it needs to be resolved. the bathroom showers have no doors or screens. the bathrooms flood every time you have a shower. there are also no storage in either bathroom. this is a big problem. easy to fix. Whilst there are some lovely extras provided, as above, there are no soaps and rubbish bags for waste changes.... important when you can't put paper down the toilet 🤣. these must be included. they should provide more washing machine detergent in line with your length of stay.... we only got 1 tablet for 5 nights.
