• Jens (7/5): Stunning location - The location of this property is absolutely stunning and easily the highlight of the stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, featuring a great bed and shower. Breakfast was standard but fine. However, a small improvement for the room would be adding a nightlamp next to the bed. A major heads-up regarding arrival: Getting here by car was quite stressful. Neither Google Maps nor Booking.com provided accurate directions, and we received no instructions beforehand. To save future guests the trouble: do not pay the parking attendant if he ask for money. You must message the host upon arrival; they will assign you a spot on the other side of the river because you can not cross the river when the waterflow is strong. Additionally, please note that this property is not recommended for wheelchair users or those with walking disabilities due to the difficult access. Beautiful once you’re settled.
• Rachael (10/5): Stunning spot, really friendly staff, highly recommend. - Wow- what a lovely place: scenery is out of this world and the staff were so friendly. Stunning location with amazing views, you can get up and visit the incredible Blue eyes while it's still peaceful and quiet. A really special place. Nothing! It's gorgeous. The food is delicious too- the breakfast portions are huge, and all fresh and homemade.
• Virginie (10/5): La pefection avec une vue magnifique - Le guesthouse est de l'autre côté du ruisseau. Il faut se stationner et traverser à pied. Le paysage est à couper le souffle. Nous sommes accueillis par Xhovani, très souriant. Il nous montre notre chambre et nous explique que le restaurant plus bas est à lui, que les petits-déjeuners se prennent là-bas. La chambre est très propre et bien meublée. La salle de bain est impeccable et grande pour les lieux. La vue de la chambre est... je n'ai pas les mots. Probablement une des plus belles vues que j'aurais d'une chambre de ma vie. La nuit, pas un son. Le lit est très confortable. Le déjeuner est délicieux. De nombreuses options en grandes quantités sont offertes sur la table. De plus, la vue du restaurant est tout autant magnifique que celle de la chambre. Xhovani est un hôte gentil, souriant, et d'une générosité immense. Il nous sera difficile d'un jour rencontrer un hôte d'une telle qualité, qui est de l'avant pour s'assurer que tous soient bien dans leur quotidien, et qui a un bon coeur. Rien! Tout était parfait.

• Adili89 (9/5): Serene stay close to Blue Eye - Clean and comfortable room surrounded by mountains very close to Blue Eye and not far from Grunas waterfalls. I preferred this area more than the crowded Theth. Xhovani was very helpful and hospitable. There is a crossing through the dried river which I wouldn't do it again with a passenger car, you have to go through rocks which can damage the car, you have to drive really slow. I'd suggest to leave the car in the Blue Eye parking lot and just cross to the other side, its a 5 min walk. Breakfast was plentiful but very oily but that's typical in Albania
• Monique (9/5): - De locatie is geweldig. Middenin de natuur, omgeven door bergen. Het ontbijt (heerlijk) wordt geserveerd in hun restaurant wat vlakbij ligt. Prachtig gelegen aan een aquakleurige poel. Aan de overkant van de rivier start het pad naar de Blue Eye. Vriendelijk personeel.
• Kerstin (9/5): - Die Lage (direkt am Flussbett und mit der Bergkulisse) der Unterkunft und des Restaurants waren wirklich außergewöhnlich. Es gab einen großen Garten zum Verweilen. Das Personal war sehr kinderfreundlich. Das fehlende Wasser im Fluss (ca. von Mai-September) worauf die Unterkunft jedoch keinen Einfluss hat!

• Anonymous (10/5): 100% recommend! - The house is beautifully located in the midst of the mountains. Definitely the best location we’ve had on our trip. It is around a 15 minute car ride from Theth, and we personally enjoyed the fact that it is more peaceful than in the heart of Theth itself. A delicious breakfast is included, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Their new puppy Riki was the cherry on top. Overall an 10/10 experience!
• Daiva (10/5): Exceptional - This was probably my best experience in Albania in terms of accommodation. A quiet place in a small village, where all cars or tourists arriving at the Blue Eye are out in the evening. The room is small but clean. The spacious bathroom with a bathtub was great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The nearby restaurant (the same owners) with a great view serves a very rich and delicious breakfast, enough to take with you on your hike. Giovanni made sure that my stay was perfect. And he did a great job :) Highly recommended! I would have liked to have bedside lamps.

We loved Nderlysaj, it's a small but very cozy and beautiful village. Great dinners and breakfasts! Amazing garden to chill outside. Thank you, I'd love to come back again. I'd add more facilities for stuff and clothes storage in the rooms.

• Alicia (9/5): Special and most beautiful place of our first trip so far. - The room and the location of the hotel in general is really perfect! The breakfast spot, in this case Xhovani's family restaurant, is beautifully situated on a mountain river, from where you can start many hikes. Nothing in particular, in my option the floor in our hotel room wasn’t as clean as necessary.
• Maciej (6/5): Pleasant - Nice and clean room, comfortable beds, good location close to the trail to Blue Eye and Waterfall Theth, wonderful views, very nice owner. Breakfast was good, but unfortunately it was the same every day. I was with friends for 3 nights, so it didn't bother me, but if someone goes here for a longer stay, it may be a slight problem. No Wi-Fi in the room despite information about its availability, the coverage was only in their restaurant 300 meters away. No heating, in the summer it's probably not a problem, but in mid-September, when it was 7/8 degrees at night, there was nowhere to warm up after the hike because it could be colder in the room than outside. The shower cabin was open, so the bathroom was completely flooded even after a short shower, which caused a lot of moisture in the entire room. When we arrived, the owner said that he preferred cash, but you could also pay by card without any problems. At the end of the trip, when we came to pay, he informed us that an additional 10% is charged for card payments, when the price was not low even without it.

• Kateřina (8/5): Very good - The location of Xhovani zelna is beautiful. It's perfect starting point for hike to Blue eye. Host was really kind and always available on whatsapp for whatever question we had. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was generous and tasty, served in host's restaurant. We didn't have lunch or dinner there, but food looked and smelled really good. I recommend you to leave the car on asfalt route, otherwise you have to cross dried river and that can be very challenging with a low car (we made it with Ford Fiesta, buy we were scared we might break it). We arrived in the dark, and it was hard to find the accommodation, however the host was ready to help. Last but not least, the food in neibourging accomodation (host cousin) was horrendous, the worst food we had in Albania. Wi-Fi in the room barely works, and there is no air-conditioning. All in all, I find it a little bit too expensive for what it has to offer.
• Glenn (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was incredibly helpful, we had a big delay and arrived later than expected, he was always available on whatsapp for any help needed, when we arrived dead tired, he offered us if we would like water or any food. Room was super super clean. Highly recommend. Road is all in asphalt so don't worry about it, google maps is not yet updated. Super comfortable bed! Nothing everything was exceptional.
• Aleksander (1/5): Bad - The offer says that they accepts dogs. So we booked it and owner confirmed booking. Came at 9pm with 3 kids and our two well behaved dogs and the owner refused to host us. He said that our dogs can’t stay with us in a room. He was friendly and said that other guests might not like dogs and thus his opinions would be bad. Thanks God we found another place so we didn’t have to sleep in car. To owner: you are a nice guy but change your description. Put yourself in our position and you will understand what you did. Ps. We cannot rank the place itself cause we didn’t stay a night. But the view and place is gorgeous.

• Spiros (10/5): Absolute relaxing, at the heart of natural attractions - This is the best place to explore the magical attractions of thethi area!!! The closest point to magnificent blue eye and very close to the waterfall. Accomodation was really nice, relaxing, clean and easy. The room is basic but we didn't need anything else. The restaurant for breakfast or lunch or dinner is 3' walk among a river (unfortunately without water when we went) but still with breathtaking view to the mountains. All people were helpful and kind. I hope a sign for the hotel will be put soon, so you can easily find it...🙂

• Cheryl (8/5): Very good - The owners were absolutely amazing and went out of their way. They totally showcase Albanian hospitality with their kindness and friendliness. Unfortunately, we got food poisoning (not from their restaurant), and they brought us bananas, yoghurt, water and lemon sodas. Luckily, we'd recovered by our 2nd morning and were able to enjoy their fantastic breakfast. Sad we missed one as it was definitely the best we'd had in Albania! Amazing location for the Blue Eye and the waterfall pools next to the hotel were the highlight for us. The window opened onto wooden staircase and as no air-conditioning or fans we had to sleep with the windows open. It would be good to let other guests know as it was very noisy.

• Jolanta (10/5): Exceptional - When arriving the host was very communicable and checked us in straight away, the view and location was very good as it is next to blue eye and only a 10 minute drive to teth, what I loved most was that the hotel also had its own seperate restaurant and we didnt need to drive anywhere for dinner, dinner food was tasty and well cooked as I noticed that most of the food was extremely fresh and was cooked where we could see, breakfast upheld the same standard as it was large and had a variety of high protein food which is perfect when going on a hike in the alpes. We enjoyed our stay alot!

• Jill (10/5): Exceptional - This a beautiful location and a newly constructed beautifully finished room. The mattresses are very comfortable. The owner's restaurant by the river is the perfect setting. He is very nice and welcoming. It's an easy walk from Theth along a trail and on the trail to the Blue Eye. At night it's quiet and serene and just an idyllic spot to enjoy the mountain views and the blue water of the river.

The host was incredibly helpful, arranged a taxi for us for the morning. His restaurant was just down the river and did great food. Breakfast was huge and yummy and the location is insanely beautiful
