• Joanne (9/5): Great apartment, would recommend - Great apartment, we found it very well situated, lots of space including lots of storage, very clean. The walls were a little thin so we did lose some sleep to some noisy neighbours!

Disponibile kit benvenuto per caffè e thè e ho apprezzato molto il kit nuovo di spugne per pulire. La mancanza di sapone in bagno (niente kit doccia). Il condizionamento rumoroso. I cuscini non erano comodi.

• Chiara (6/5): Comoda posizione servizi da migliorare - la posizione la casa purtroppo non era pulita non c era neanche un sapone disponibile e nulla per pulire i giorni seguenti. L’ingresso dello stabile angusto e l’interno delle scale molto sporco con fazzoletti e sporcizia che è rimasta lì per 4 giorni. Alla nostra partenza l’ascensore era rotto e abbiamo portato giù le valige a mano. Staff inesistente all’interno della casa nessuna info sui servizi in zona. Per la cifra richiesta mi sembra un po’ eccessivo

On entend un peu les voisins monter les escaliers mais sinon, étant en pleine rue, on entendait pas du tout l'extérieur. Manque des torchons pour essayer la vaisselle. Sinon, très bien. Merci

• Kim (6/5): Brilliant location and communication was good. But space was chilly within and you could hear the people that were stayi - Location was brilliant. Very central in a cool and vibrant part of the city. Sound insulation wasn’t great. We could hear the people staying above very clearly and partying quite late in the night. Could not get the apartment to warm up and it was quite chilly.

• Daniel (10/5): Wonderful apartment in a great location in central Barcelona! - Beautiful apartment in an amazing location in the gothic quarter. It was nice to have laundry in the unit and some coffee pods for the morning. Comfy beds! A bit tricky to get big luggage into the elevator or up the 1 flight of tight stairs but manageable for adults. No taxi stands all that close.
• Annie (9/5): 25th birthday celebrations in Barcelona! - Brilliant location and spacious apartment. We have friends who have an apartment just around the corner so the location was perfect. Easy access to the main city and lovely bars and restaurants close by. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 25th birthday and we happened to coincide with Barcelona festival week which was a happy bonus. The only thing that was missing from the apartment was a long mirror! Also, I was not expecting to have to pay an additional 300 euros deposit in case of any damages. Can you please refund this asap - I have checked my bank balance today and it is not refunded yet.

Pereții despărțitori ai camerelor sunt din pal sau așa ceva, iar zgomotul se auzea dintr o cameră in alta foarte bine. Prețul foarte ridicat pentru ceea ce oferă,dar zona ridică prețul....

• Joel (8/5): Perfect place to discover Barcelona - Very cozy and lovely apartment. The location is great, with a lot of shops, pubs and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away. Same for the metro station. We will certainly come back. The water in the bathroom sink just drained veeeeeeeery slowly. But that doesn't keep us from booking this apartment again on our next visit.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Well located compact apartment in a funky, less touristy part of the Latin quarter - Location in the latin quarter was fabulous. It was close to markets, shops, bars, restaurants and the Picasso museum. Easy walk to many of the attractions or the buses to take you further afield. Apartment was comfortable and well equipped although we could have done with a few more mugs. We had a small issue with the fuses but it was dealt with within 15 minutes. Great service. Qe would stay here again.

A good stay here and still arguing with the place to return my deposit! - The location was ok The property took a large deposit and it’s taking a while to get a response for the refund - no other place takes a deposit in full amd holds it for 14 days after check out - the site where I booked did not clarify about security deposit it I would not have booked this place!

• Laura (8/5): Amazing time in Born - The location is so good - the neighbourhood is jumping with life, culture, cafes independent shops galore. The balcony looking onto the street was a massive bonus. The apartment was spotlessly clean, nice beds and good linen. A hob but no oven which I wish I'd realised before buying a gourmet pizza from the nearby food market. Hot water and a great shower. Everything worked really well and there was family fun with the lift that securely opens into the apartment. Also very nice to have a washer drier with some washing tablets in the welcome pack. There are a lot of rules, cleaning up after yourself and emptying the rubbish. Which we'd do as a matter of course but there was a sense of a veiled threatthat if you didn't follow the rules you'd lose the security deposit. Extra pillows or cushions would've been really welcome. And a dishwasher to go with the dishwasher tablets would've been great!! Also if a little olive oil and salt could be included that would've made me very happy
• Kate (9/5): Perfect location, great space, great for small families. - Perfect location in the gothic part of town. Great place for a small family. The lift is tight but opens right into the apartment (the kids loved that!) Small balcony that was lovely to sit out on, overlooking a lovely street in a great neighbourhood. Good use of space and everything needed in the kitchen. Love to see the original beams and bricks. The fittings were a little basic, a little tired.

House looks very beautiful and has all the facilitation required 1. wifi worked well in the living room but not in other rooms 2. elevator to the apartment was small and we needed 2 trips to get us all up with our luguges

• Abhay (4/5): Good location but that was the only good part! - 1. Elevator didn't work 3 out of the 4 days. Had to carry luggage down very tight stairway down 4 floors. 2. Included toiletries included 2 extremely small shampoo bottles for 4 people staying 4 days. Ran out of tissue paper on 2nd day. 3. Host insisted on paying through a 3rd party link instead of booking through Booking.com which was suspicious, going to keep an eye on my credit card transactions. 4. I had requested if early check-in could be possible even before making the reservation and checked again 24-hr before as asked. Even an hour early would have been a great help after landing at 8am on a long red eye flight but the host messaged 'not to use the keys strictly before 3pm'; lack of common courtesy was astounding.
• Brian (8/5): Amazing apartment and location...but lift broken. - The apartment itself is great and in a beautiful location within the gothic area of the city. It was clean, well equipped with everything a family or group could possibly need for a trip to Barcelona. The beds were comfortable and the living space was bright and large with some of the original beams and stonework visible which was a lovely touch. There was a small balcony which was lovely to lean out onto and watch the world go by on a busy, beautiful street. The aircon was temperamental. The kitchen tap was broken but quickly fixed when we notified the staff. The biggest issue was the lift. It didn't work for much of our stay and I was travelling with my 70 year old mother who found the stairs, some 4 floors worth, in almost 30 degree heat, extremely difficult. This meant we had to limit how many times we went back and had to adapt our break a little. This was very disappointing as everything else was great.

• Shahar (2/5): Not good at all - The location is great When we arrived we saw a tiny room with a bunk bed, which wasn’t shown in the booking page. The page presents an apartment that has a gallery with three beds in it (a king size and a one personal bed) - which we didn’t get. For the first 24h the toilets had blockage. We tried to contact the owners through two number they sent me in advance, one of them was supposed to have 24 hours response but in both of them no one answered. Eventually my father succeeded to contact them around 9am the day after and they weren’t in a rush to help us. Finally after one more angry call from my father they came and fixed the toilets around 6pm. In addition, on our fourth day, the elevator broke and when we wrote them about it they said that fixing the elevator wasn’t connected to then but to the owners of the apartments in the building (i don’t know who the owners are if not them). Overall not a got experience unfortunately…
• Anna (7/5): Very good but a few things would’ve made it great. - The coffee pot did not work. That was very aggravating. Needed better instructions on how to use washer since only 3 bath towels were provided which was an insufficient number. Shower head does not work. Had to use hand held portion. Found a large dying cockroach beside my bed on day 3 that was upsetting but understandable. Location was perfect. Size and cleanliness were good. It’s much more dated inside than photos but acceptable. Amenities were very good for the price but would’ve been nice to have more toilet paper provided and paper towels for sink. Had to buy those myself.

• Mehrabin (8/5): Very good - Location (happening street, good for young, fun crowd). Lots of great shops along the stretch of the street. Quaint, old school feel. Secure. Very nice host. Welcome amenities were useful. They allowed us to check-in early, which was very nice of them. Spacious common area. No dishwasher. The elevator is extremely small and cramped. Most of the doors on the street have been vandalised by graffiti “artists”.

• Marion (7/5): excellent location - would book again! - Location was amazing. The apartment was as described. Lift into the apartment was a god send! loads of great restaurants as you come out and turn right - amazing choice. We were woken up twice with neighbours banging the entrance door and ringing the bell to our apartment continually to get in because they had forgotten the code. Whereas the entrance door was sometimes left unlocked during the day. Other than this the apartment would have a very high score. If I were being super picky - Beds could be more comfortable, more / better pillows required. There was a lovely welcome package, except it had coffee pods for a Nespresso machine and the machine in the apartment was Dolce Gusto.

• Simona (3/5): CHECK WELL BEFORE YOU BOOK We booked the apartment based on the pictures - Very good location We booked the apartment based on the pictures published on booking.com. It turns out there are 2 apartments in the building, one is much smaller than the other. The apartments look very similar, but one has 2 floors, the other one floor only. We booked the bigger one, but got the smaller one. The person who brought us the keys could not explain how it happened, his supervisor just dismissed us.

• Silvia (7/5): Wonderful location, hosts can more customer service oriented to match the value paid. - Loved the location. The fact that AC works. The beds are super comfortable. Looking through the window and feel the vibe of Barcelona. The communication with the hosts was bad. The bathroom upstairs was not in good condition. My stay was 5 days. On the second day if I recall well we discovered water coming through the walls from the upstairs bathroom. The whole coordination to get some one to fix it was not easy, I speak the language perfectly as I am originally from Argentina. They sent someone to do it while we were not there ( we approved the entry of those individuals). When we came back, the floors were dirty you could not be barefoot. The day after, day before leaving I called them to know if the bathroom was done because while you could see they fixed it, it was not clean to be used. After many attempts we were told we could use it... like that. But again.. it was dirty. We were leaving the day after. So we paid for a 2 bathroom apartment but we - 4- managed to use 1. I feel I had to explain over and over where we were located, which was the apartment, and me following up with them vs the other way around. Oh- when we arrived the boy who gave us the keys explained how we needed to empty the trash. When he left, we realized the trash bins were full. So we had to trash them and use the only bag they provide us. When I called them, they said yes, you need to buy another bag if one bag is not enough... we can only provide 1.. I was perplexed with that answer. But well, we will not come back to this apartment.

• Robert (8/5): Very good - Location was very good. Close to Barcelona Cathedral and in an interesting neighbourhood to wander around. Host who greeted us was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Showers had excellent water pressure and temperature control. Beds were comfortable. Sofa was stained. On our final day there was an issue with the lift when it got stuck on level 2 so we had to carry our heavy luggage down 4 flights of stairs. Although the location was good, we had been warned to be careful of pickpockets in our neighbourhood and sadly, on the final day, one of our group was robbed early in the morning outside our apartment.
• Sharon (7/5): Compact stay in Barcelona. - Host company rep met us at the door, and was very helpful with sorting that aircon was not working by getting a fan set up. Great location, close to good tapa bars and restaurants. Property advertised with air conditioning. It was not working. There was only one external door, so the place was extremely hot. Washing machine plumbing has a serious leak, so kitchen floor constantly wet, and spongy.
• Helen (7/5): Loved Barcelona - When we finally moved into the apartment that we had booked, it was as expected. Great location and base to explore the old town. Even though the apartment is in a vibrant and interesting area it is quiet at night and comfortable. Lots of very good places to eat and fabulous market nearby. We were booked in from Sunday but having waited at the property for over 15 minutes I contacted the owner to be told that their booking was from the Monday. This was very stressful as we were two women on our own in a city that we didn’t know. The owner then found alternative accommodation in a totally different part of the city for two nights. We lost alot of time on two days of our short holiday moving from one apartment to another because of an error that should never have happened. We felt we were fortunate that our flight arrived in the afternoon and not late at night.

Nice lively part of Barcelona, yet when windows closed gives you peace to rest Worn out equipment should be replaced and would give extra value to property. Now it is obviously cheaper solution (Ikea type)

The showers were so powerful, and the kitchen was clean & easy to cook for a family. It has an amazing atmosphere in this apartment. We look forward to staying here again, just perfect for a family.. It is located in such a good area, near everything in this Beautiful City of Barcelona. Thank you . We loved everything, nothing to dislike .
