- Langan (4/5): - The staff were fantastic in the pub and cleaning the room, The rooms are very outdated and in dire need of an update. The shared showers very poor to say the least
- Williams (10/5): - I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Travis, he is an outstanding manager who went above and beyond his duties. Travis stayed behind to personally ensure we would be able to arrive late in the evening. We misjudged the arrival time due to daylight savings time in NSW. Thank you very much Travis, you are a great asset to your employer. I wish you a great and rewarding career ahead.
- David Michael (5/5): Annoying noisy guests ruined our sleep - Clean Other guests were drinking on the balcony. Our room was accessed via the balcony. They laughed when we made our way to our room and didn’t retire to there rooms till after 2am. Smoke mad its was into our room as well. A bit disappointed
- Greg (7/5): -
- clayton (10/5): - Has everything U need close to shops restaurants etc
- Kim (2/5): - Clean
close to the river for events Room 2 had no air-conditioning so we were moved to room 3B. It was so noisy all night due to the local hoons doing burnouts and speeding up and down the road also the party goers leaving the motel and congregating under our room till 2am.
No sleep at all.
- Ruth (5/5): - Hotel dinning room and meal was good. The shower in the ladies bathroom.
The mattress in room 12 was old the you could feel the springs.
Power points up too high.
No seats in kitchen are
.
- Richard (7/5): Good value and staff were great. - Nostalgic reno No tv and the linen was a bit stale
- Martin Ik (3/5): - Budget price for last minute booking. Very dated and basic. Little amenities. Camp / dormitory feel.
- Vincent (9/5): -
- Ann (8/5): Nice staff, central location, good stop on our way to QLD - There is a lovely open veranda upstairs for guests staying at this hotel Ceiling fan was too noisy to use, but room aircon was great
- Cam (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Did a real good job - A great location Upstairs but that's normal and the street parking was difficult at times
- Rosanne (8/5): Value for money with a good location. - It was clean. Staff were friendly. Nice location. Comfortable stay. Even though it was above the pub it was pretty quiet.
- Reece (9/5): -
- Amelia (4/5): Disappointing and very hard to sleep due to noise - Room was clean, friendly staff, good location Noise every night. People in downstairs bar were very loud on first night of stay, second night was disappointing as there was very loud music playing that vibrated the whole upstairs level and on the last night there was a lot of noise from other guests/the street
- Phil (4/5): Very poor beds - Beds extremely poor.
- Rhys (1/5): -
- Paul (8/5): - Good location, close to the river A few cockroaches, which is to be expected for an old building
- Anna (8/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - The live music in the pub
The food from the bistro
The friendliness of staff
- Ling (8/5): -
- Daniel (1/5): - Helpful staff Cockroaches and a bit too run down.
- The Lioness (1/5): - There was mice/rats poo on the bed - photos attached.
There were multiple dead or alive bugs everywhere
My 11 yo son was unable to sleep the whole night due to the broken and bumpy beds
Prepare to not be able to sleep if you are booked for weekend due to very loud noise
Only one shower available for the whole floor with a large number of bedrooms

- Suzi (8/5): Great location, cheap, clean room. Ideal for an overnight rest. - Great value for money! Exactly what we expected - neat clean room in an old pub. Very quiet, gret facilities in the pub downstairs. Basic facilities upstairs. We read the reviews and some were terrible - but really, what do people expect for $100 a night in a 100+ old pub? We thought it was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We stayed on a Satruday night and the pub downstairs was very quiet. There were no chairs in the common lounge room to watch the TV. A TV in the bedroom would have been a plus, also no bedside tables. There was no milk for tea in the morning, despite asking staff for it who said they had none.

- claudia (1/5): Terribile - Nulla Tutto. Scarafaggi enormi vivi e morti ovunque nelle camere e in cucina terrificante. Abbiamo dovuto dormire in macchina e chiesto il rimborso.
- Paul (3/5): Not good value for money. - The bar area, food and gaming room were modern. The staff were good.
A/C in the room worked well. The accommodation.
The room was very small, ceiling fan was dirty, beds were just ordinary, the cockroaches in the room and the powerpoint was 8 feet high on the wall making it impossible to charge mobile phone.
The TV area had no remote control and no seating.

- lisa (6/5): Choose a room at the back with a windows - Great location, good shared showers We sadly got a room that had no windows or air coming through. 😕 awful
- Scott (5/5): - Another room guest on the phone outside my room at 4am
- Chad (8/5): -
- Nolan (9/5): - The distance from other rooms and the low level of noise from inside the hotel.
- Alinta (9/5): -
- Sheppard (5/5): Great value basic but the bugs made it not nice - The price was good basic but good the food in the hotel was lovely the staff really nice The cockrochs we had to put towels by doors and plug some up with toilet roll we could not sleep they were huge and fast they were all down the stairs as well I get it's Oz but being from England not use to that
- Eleanor (5/5): Booked online. Arrived -- no staff anywhere, I had to yell out and even then we waited. No, sorry, w - What-- breakfast?? Location was fine. Great to see they spent a million downstairs but sad they didnt spend a penny upstairs. Room may as well be a prison cell. Shower and toilets I rate as 3rd world. Meal from bistro very good and value for money. Again, downstairs top notch for a pub. The accommodation side lacks in every department. Woeful for 2025. Downstairs all good. Upstairs--- spend some money up there before we ever return.
- Luke (4/5): - Clean room Stairs and noisy at night because of the street
- Junda (2/5): - Location No window, and very smelly in the room.
- Karen (6/5): Overall, not a bad place to stay, due to central location - it fulfilled basic requirements. - The room was well located and quiet.
Air conditioning worked well and was very much appreciated on a hot day. One of the toilets in the female bathroom was out of order for the 3 days stay.
Toilet paper was a little slow in being replenished in both male and female toilets.
The electricity outlet in the room was above the wardrobe so very hard to access.
There was no bedside table nor even a chair, only 2 beds and a wardrobe.
I swept out our room on the second day and left the dust outside our door - this wasn't cleared away before we left.
- Lincoln (4/5): $80 - $90/night would be a more accurate price. - The pub below has received an extensive renovated and looks great. The bar staff are friendly and well spoken. The accomodation above the pub is in desperate need of renovation. The kitchen, dining areas and male amenities were although clean and tidy. In room 6 the sheets and pillows on the bed were clean and crisp white. The spacious room contained two single beds and a large sink, no cupboards, desk, table of cloths hanging device what so ever. Unfortunately the second bed was covered in dead and dying coaches that appeared to have come from the wall vent above. Dead coach roaches were scattered down the stair entrance to the accomodation.
- Anna (6/5): Handy location easy walking distance to town - Location, very clean & lovely crisp clean sheets Woken up at 2am when everyone leaving the pub extremely noisy. Bed had spring on left hand side that stuck into you. Length of bed not good for people over 6 foot
- Mereseini (10/5): - Piece n quiet
- Cheng (2/5): -
- Michael Vinsen (7/5): -
- P (3/5): - The staff were mostly great
The two meals we had were excellent Cockroaches
Yuk
Just awful
Not the hotels fault, but street noise started at 4 every morning
The facilities in the room were a bare minimum. Bed. Toilet. Shower. Basin. TV.
- Banks (6/5): Good experience - Good No tv in room
- Kate (5/5): A basic pub room that can be very noisy and with minimal facilities - Comfortable beds, easy check in and friendly staff To be fair, we weren’t expecting a lot and just needed somewhere simple to sleep during a quick overnight pit stop on a road trip. The beds were very comfy but unfortunately it was a typical ‘above a pub’ room- ripped curtains, no TV, no lamps, cockroaches on floor, no bin in room, stale cigarette smell, and SO noisy with drunken patrons. We didn’t get the sleep we were hoping for.
- Evia (7/5): -
- Dean (7/5): -
- Claire (1/5): - Nothing My daughter had a room with no windows and cockroaches. The hotel was very noisy. We couldn't sleep because the room was lit by the hallway light all night. On a positive note, the shared bathroom seemed clean.
- lily (2/5): Not recommended for families - The staff were exceptional. Such lovely and helpful people. The accomodation isn't their fault. The beds looked clean until they weren't. Air con worked. Fans worked. I guess its not the standard we are used to. It is very old and curtains were ripped and didnt close properly. When we turned on the fans so much brown stuff landed on our beds. Resembled droppings that had collected in the light cover. Other facilities (communal) seemed clean even if it was old. Noises in the roof was literally constant. It wasn't a nightmare but its not really a place for families either. We were desperate. Heard the owner wants to renovate. If it looks like the pub downstairs, it will come up great. Until then, its still good for a single person who's not fussed and needs something cheap.
