• E L (8/5): Great location - The location - right out of the door, to the top of the street, turn right to Boboli Gardens or left to Pritti Palace and drop down to Ponte Vechio and the Uffizi Gallery. Left out of the door then right takes you down via dei Serragli to ponte alla Carraii over to the Brasilica and onward to the train station. The apartment - the lounge and bedroom are spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and has cupboard essentials for cooking. Filippo arranged to meet us at the apartment and was at the end of the phone when we needed him! The shower room is essentially a wet room. The water doesn't run away fast enough making the other facilities out of bounds for a while. Outside noise late and into the early hours would have been a problem for me, except I had earplugs!

• Laurence (10/5): - Tout. Appartement très mignon, très bien placé. À 5mn du palais Pitti et à 8mn du ponte vecchio et de la gallérie des offices. Filippo et sa femme sont très accueillants. S'il faut trouver un point : la douche qui innonde la salle de bain mais il y a une raclette et un tapis de bain donc tout va bien.

• Karen (8/5): A value priced apartment in walkable distance to main sites.Clean and tidy - Near all things you would want to see, walkable. Apartment had homely feel, kitchen set up to be able to cook. Generous amounts of basics like olive oil, vinegar etc. You can create a mini home for yourself.. Host was friendly and helpful. Beware it is up two flights of stairs, no lift. Beds were a little hard for us, toppers would have enhanced our sleeping experience..

• A. (7/5): Nice appartament - Nice and polite host. OK price. Clean and tidy. Traditional and interesting architecture. The host is very helpful and responsive to questions. Great location in the heart of the city, but not in the too crowded part. There are a lot of maps, materials and guides to help you around Florence. The balcony is super sweet with nice view. It's on small traditional Italian street, which is nice, but also -- unexpectedly -- very noisy in the night.

• James (10/5): extreme comfortable! - The apartment was superior and the owner/manager was extremely helpful. The rooftop patio was a bonus, historic Florence. It was extremely close, two 1/2 blocks from the North side of the town / Arno River and the Ponte Alla Carraia bridge, and three blocks from the Ponte Vecchio (old) bridge. It was a block and a half from Piazza Del Pitti. The nieghborhood was close to grocery markets and eateries, Say hey from Patrcia to Tony around the corner eatery/takeout.
• Chris (9/5): Great location which met all our needs. - The location was ideal for us. Quieter than the north side, which we prefer. We had gone to Florence for a wedding and a large part of our group were also on the south side, so it made it easy for us to meet up with them. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Host met us with the keys, and to explain where to find everything, recommended us a great local restaurant. We knew what to expect, but the stairs to the property. Great if your young and fit, which I am not.
• Raymond (8/5): Very good - Great space. Very friendly and attentive host. Overall good location and walkable to all important touristic sites. Note that there are no lifts and the apartment is on top floor, but not a problem for us.

• Natalie (9/5): Wonderful value for our money and we were all vert pleased - Our host was very helpful and friendly. He suggested places to go, things to see. He explained everything to us and told us not to hesitate to contact him for any question or problem. The apartment is well situated in a relatively quiet neighborhood. A laundromat around the corner, grocery stores not far. The attractions were a small walk away. Small shop around the corner had great sandwiches. The train station was a very short taxi ride away. We were very pleased with the kitchen and were able to cook a few times. The bathroom is small and taking 3 showers in a row can be challenging. We were pre warned about the slow drain in the shower which slowed us down a bit. This was not a deal breaker as every apartment has its own little quirk. Everything else made up for it!

• Ivo (9/5): Beautiful apartment in a nice and lively neighborhood! - Beautiful, cosy, nicely furnished apartment, great terrace with view over the city. The kitchen is very well equipped, basic cooking ingredients (oil, salt, pepper) and coffeemaker were provided. Large stock of books and info for Florence. Beautiful and lively neighborhood. Tap water is drinkable, but started to smell and taste of gas after using the gas stove. Everything was just great to stay there.

• Julie (9/5): We loved our stay in Florence and the apartment which felt like home - It was spacious and cosy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Made you feel like part of the local community in a street close to town with interesting things going on. Using the local shops. Close to Ponte Vecchio, restaurants, Boboli gardens, buses, Pitti Palace, Uffizi and more. Phillip helpful on arrival, Shower head probably needs replacing? Stairs but can’t be helped.

• Xiao (10/5): Exceptional - Very unique and spacious apartment. Well stocked kitchen for making coffee or cooking. Friendly and helpful host. Very comfortable bed and couch. Bathroom is small but has everything you need. Location is great. Lots of cool stores, restaurants, etc in the neighbourhood. No elevator in the building given it was used to be a church/convent long time ago but that gave its characters. Like a lot of European buildings, the windows don’t provide much sound proof. Earplugs might be helpful if you are a light sleeper.

• Janet (10/5): Central well equipped apartment with rooftop deck with amazing views - Central location on South side of the Arno Cute well stocked kitchen & bathroom We were warned of early mosquitoes & screening on kitchen windows so left those open Host offered recommendations for late lunch that was amazing. Looking for two beds & foldout couch in living room was comfortable double bed but were left single sheets Managed to find double sheets & made up bed
