• Joana (10/5): Let’s repeat🌼 - I’m really happy I decided to stay at Tecoma Hostel, as it was a great experience. I was supposed to stay only one week, but I ended up extending my stay to almost three weeks. Dahab turned out to be an amazing place, with so many things to do, especially if you like water sports, and staying at Tecoma made the experience even better. The place is lovely, it felt like home. I loved the colours, the decoration, the inciense smell some of the days, and you basically have everything you need there. The female dorm was always clean, and I really enjoyed spending time in the common areas with everyone at the hostel. Another great point was the bikes. Although everything is close and you can easily walk everywhere, it was really nice to be able to use the hostel’s bikes from time to time. Adam was very helpful and always tried to make me feel comfortable. He showed me around the city, let me do laundry a couple of times, and always had a smile on his face. Thanks to him, and also to Yaser and Beso, who cooked and invited me to eat with them more than once 🥹🙏🏽🩵 The food was so good! I hope I can come back soon, stay here again, and do many more things in Dahab.

• Omar (10/5): - I stayed at Tecoma Hostel in Dahab and honestly it was one of the best experiences I’ve had From the moment I arrived I felt comfortable and welcomed like I wasn’t just a guest but part of the place The atmosphere is peaceful positive and full of good energy which made it really hard to leave What truly made my stay special was the staff Everyone was kind and genuine but I have to give a special thanks to Yaser and Adam They went out of their way to help me with everything I needed always with a smile and great attitude They made sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment and that kind of care really makes a difference This place isn’t just somewhere to stay it’s somewhere you feel connected and relaxed I’m definitely coming back again and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience in Dahab

• Bishal (10/5): Lovely hostel near the beach - Adam, who runs the place is a very friendly person, and was up to help with everything needed. The place is as described, very lively and matches the pictures, and the other reviews of the hostel seem genuine. There is no segregation of wet and dry area in the shared washroom so its wet most of the times because guests take shower at different times of the day. But that's the only negative point against a lot of positives. My stay was pleasant, so I recommend.

They crafted a beautiful and cozy space with their hands and so much love to make you have the most comfortable staying! • Mady (10/5): This is the perfect place for co-stays in dahab! it’s safe, comfortable, friendly, and in a great location - The space is super comfortable and the energy is always just right. it’s kept clean, it always smells nice, there are quiet hours which helped me have the best sleep, and the breakfast was always so good. the hosts are amazing and super helpful in whatever travel plans you have!

One of the biggest highlights for me was learning how to swim! Mory patiently helped me, and with Omar's support too, I was finally able to let go of my fear—something I never thought I’d do. The hostel itself is peaceful, clean, and perfect whether you’re working, journaling, or just recharging. Adam is incredibly decent and full of good energy—so attentive to details and always making sure things feel just right. Mory’s enthusiasm and support made all the difference. • Nadine (10/5): 👏🏼Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, friendly place that still gives you easy access t - I had a great experience staying at this hostel in Asala. It’s in a quieter area, but still just a 15-minute walk to the bustling Mamsha (you can walk along the beach or take a quicker road route). There’s a pharmacy and supermarket close by, which was super convenient. The beach is 4 min walk away too. The hostel itself is warm and thoughtfully designed. Bathrooms are private (not cubicles), and there’s an extra one outside the dorm. There’s a kitchen with an oven, fridge, and cooking essentials, plus plenty of outdoor space to hang wet clothes—a small detail that really matters. There’s a rooftop, activities like jam nights, and homemade breakfasts you can sign up for—we had pancakes and fruit with the lovely staff (shoutout to Nadine, Anya, Adam, and Omar!). They were approachable, helpful, and gave great recommendations. The dorm beds are comfy, there are plugs, a heater, and storage space—just bring your own padlock if staying in the dorm. Bonus: Ask to rent a bike for the day! Only small downside was the limited natural light in the female dorm room, but everything else made up for it.
• Mohamed (10/5): Foud home in Dahab - Very cozy place with homelike feeling. Great vibes thanks to our hosts Adam and Mori. It’s still new and the facilities are in good shape. The location is in a quiet area so it’s a nice place to chill and relax but with proximity to market and restaurants. Every few days the guys at the hostel organise events and activities which is a plus. Bike rental also available. If you decide to come to this place, there’s a big chance you might extend your stay and won’t leave

They’re incredibly open, welcoming, and genuinely care about making sure every guest feels at home. The vibe of the hostel is something truly special—laid-back, warm, and full of good energy. The space itself is beautiful, with thoughtful touches that create a calm and cozy atmosphere. One of the best memories was the music jam night—such a fun way to connect with others, and you could really feel the sense of community they’ve built here. Adam and Mory were amazing at helping plan activities—from trips to Abu Gallum and Blue Lagoon to hiking Mount Sinai. They had great recommendations and helped arrange everything so easily, even loaning me gear for the activities. If you’re coming to Dahab and want more than just a place to stay—if you want connection, kindness, good vibes, and a beautiful space to relax—Tecoma is the place. I left feeling like I’d made new friends and can’t wait to come back.

• Rasaalika (10/5): Cozy stay at the wonderful Tecoma Hostel - Tecoma is located in the heart of Dahab, in Asala, just minutes from well-stocked supermarkets, and all the cute eateries and cafe's Dahab has to offer. What I loved most about my stay was the actual hostel itself - Adam has gone to such great lengths, paying attention to every detail, to create a space where his guests are comfortable and are catered to for their every need. The common areas and workspaces were great, the kitchen was super clean and easy for me to use when I needed to, and the food Adam prepared for me was delicious. I wish I had planned to stay longer! For a solo female traveller, the dorm was perfect and comfortable for me, the bathroom was perfect and clean, and the location meant I could step out and easily access anything I wanted. Nothing - everything was fantastic!
