Christopher (7/5): average given the price for 3 days was quite high and some issues but location was good - location and cleanliness of the cottage The parking permit was out of date by 2 days so we had to use the business permit but that means parking on one of the main car parks away from the property. No welcome pack, cleaning cloths etc which we called for and it did turn up later, toilet seat was loose and nipped the skin on one of the guests. Property is not a spacious as the photos make it look on the website

Anneliese (9/5): Another wonderful stay in Amble Cottage - Another wonderful stay in Amble Cottage! A beautiful cottage in a quiet location in Ambleside. Very close to the centre yet very peaceful. Lovely cottage and cosy living room, with big kitchen and nice outdoor patio. Very comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Great that it's dog friendly. Ideal location for a trip to Ambleside and our second time staying here - would recommend! .

Stephen (10/5): A superb cottage. - Perfectly placed with parking permits. Just a short walk to the centre of Ambleside. Pubs, restaurants, and takeaways close by. Kitchen well stocked. Comfortable beds. Communication was brilliant from booking to coming home. Not a cottage for people with walking difficulties as the bathroom is on the top floor, but that's the design. Highly recommend this cottage! We would definitely book again.
