Guest Reviews
- Regina (8/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): Great stay, great views, great position, characterful, but requires some update. - The views are stunning. We were fortunate to have a stunning weekend of weather, which always helps. The position on the Leas is brilliant, for walks to Sandgate or into Folkestone, where there is a great selection of restai=urants and shops. A particular concern was the state of the shower. It is small, it is old, a wheel fell off the doors (replaced), it could do with a deep clean, and the shower head was a disaster - spraying in all directions until a degree of control was achieved. To be honest, it is below standard and should be replaced. Furniture and fitting adequate - but dated. Some people would be daunted by the many steps to the top floor.
- Lukasz (10/5): - Very nice place!!! Cozy kitchen and living room are the best part of it.
- Rosemary (8/5): Very enjoyable - Amazing views from property , area really lovely lots of things to see within walking distance we didn’t have to take the car out for the 3 days we were there. Very relaxing and Folkestone is very pretty . Beds a bit small and soft
- John-Earl (8/5): What we needed, good location shower was intermate. - Great location, plenty of room. Shower is very small despite a huge bathroom.
- Tony (10/5): - Too many stairs to get to flatt
- Maarten (6/5): Goed maar iets te duur - Super mooi uitzicht. Op wandel afstand van het centrum en winkels Voor die prijs mag het appartement naar 2025 worden gerenoveerd
- Liesl (10/5): Peaceful home with great views . - The views were amazing . The location was great . lol - all the stairs but so worth it
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely place to stay, would highly recommend! - Lovely apartment, good location, amazing views, well equipped and great for a family stay Only minor negative would be the stairs but this was clear on the booking so just to be mindful of
- Nathaniel (10/5): Great Apartment! - Great Apartment with perfekt location and an amazing view from the balcony.
Christopher is a amazing Host. Very Helpful and fast responding time. Would definitely stay here again!
- Ashleigh (9/5): Fantastic place to stay - The views and balcony are perfect. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is fully equiped with everything you need. Very homely place to stay and will defobe back. The only thing that could be improved is the shower it was very narrow and the bathroom is huge
- Arriaza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arriaza (10/5): Exceptional - Flat space was very well distributed, everyone had their own bedroom plus extra areas like the living room, balcony, and dining table for alone time. The amount of steps to get to the flat.
- Coyle (8/5): All good. We got fit climbing to 5th floor and view was worth it -
- Brittany (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (7/5): Very enjoyable short trip - The location was good. Very quiet but still within easy walking distance of the centre Although the property had an amazing sea view some of the decor and furnishings were a little tired and dated
- Ahmed (7/5): Good - The view is amazing even though we were in cloudy December
Summer time I’m sure will be perfect The wind noise on the bedroom windows were extremely loud.
It was like there was a storm outside.
I looked out of the window but didn’t seem that window as the trees and plants were not swaying.
It’s maybe because it’s facing the sea and the bedroom windows are not double glazed
- Juliana (8/5): Our stay started very well until the sink got blocked and staff did not respond and had to contact the owner in spain.Th - Location loved the kitchen . No toilet upstairs
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Katy (9/5): Clifton Views - a home away from home for a group or family stay in Folkestone. - Clifton Views location was perfect for our visit to Folkestone! It was not right in the centre, which was good, but walkable. The stroll from the flat to the town centre was along the beautiful coastline, with lots of levels and paths to choose from.
The host was very responsive and the flat was really comfortable and clean, with an incredibly well equipped kitchen, with everything you could possibly need! The bath and the bathroom was huge! The living room had a small balcony with gorgeous see views and it was really nice to eat our breakfast out there in the morning.
We found places to park close-by easily. The flat is top floor, so if you are not keen on climbing stairs, maybe this isn't the stay for you. It didn't bother us and was worth it for the balcony and view.
