The apartments are situated in a small lane in a beautiful area of the city, only a short walk from the bus station. Elena is a wonderful host and really makes your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are nicely decorated, mine had a nautical theme. There was no washing machine, but Elena kindly offered to do my laundry. A special mention for the lovely lady who services the rooms. She was so kind and friendly.

Ci siamo fermati solo una notte ma è stato molto piacevole trovarsi nel centro storico di Rethymno e godere, comunque, di un angolo di quiete. Non abbiamo incontrato la proprietaria ma è stata sempre celere nel rispondere alle nostre richieste. Non è facile trovare parcheggio. Quando siamo arrivati il navigatore non ci segnalava che la via in cui si trova la struttura è solo pedonale, perciò abbiamo girato intorno parecchio prima di trovare un posto non troppo lontano per lasciare l'auto e portare i bagagli a mano.

Nous étions à l'étage et notre studio parfaitement équipé bénéficiait d'une grande terrasse partagée avec un autre studio. Parfait pour y passer 2 jours. Rien à redire sur le lieu. Sa situation au calme dans la vieille ville est un plus et les parkings gratuits autour sont proches.

The veranda was so spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the Elena rooms and found them to be very comfortable and perfect for what we wanted. The cleaning lady Bula was so nice and they seem to work very well together. We will be back! Nothing

Pour déguster le raki offert par notre hôte c'était parfait. Merci pour cette attention. Nous n'avons pas eu de difficulté à trouver un stationnement gratuit du côté de l'hôpital à une dizaine de minutes du studio. Une petite bouteille d'huile, un peu de sel et de poivre et un rouleau de sopalin à disposition serait appréciable. Le reste était bien.

- ns40 (10/5): - The owner was lovely and made sure we had what we needed, very friendly, as was the lady who cleans the apartments. They couldn't do enough for you and made sure we were okay for everything.The courtyard is beautiful and cosy for a late nightcap or morning coffee and there is also the additional shared rooftop terrace with great views. It's right in the heart of the old town and the apartments are beautifully decorated. Not that we watched a lot of TV, but it was also a bonus to be able to access Netflix in English too. The only thing we would say would be a corkscrew/bottle opener in the kitchen. We bought a bottle of wine with a cork and forgot to check we could open it (we managed in the end) so that would be handy, but that's just a small thing.

- Sabina (10/5): Old rethymno - Studio ampio e pulito in piena città vecchia. Angolo cottura ben attrezzato per un pasto al volo, cortile con tavolini e terrazza molto piacevoli. Letti comodi,pur essendo in pieno centro camera silenziosa....proprietaria molto accogliente, siamo stati benissimo! Abbiamo faticato un po' per parcheggiare, ma se vuoi stare in pieno centro è da mettere in conto....consiglierei di rendere un po' più visibile l'insegna(è coperta da piante e fiori), ci siamo passati davanti almeno 4 volte senza vederla😅

At the last moment, our room was changed due to a so-called ‘mistake,’ and we were not allowed to cancel since it was already 4 PM on the same day, leaving us with no alternative accommodation. The room we were given was very old, unwelcoming, and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, there was a dead cockroach on the floor which was never removed – I will attach a photo. I feel completely misled by the 9.3 rating. In my honest opinion, this place deserves no more than a 1.”

La proprietaria è stata carina e professionale e si percepisce attenzione e cura della struttura in generale! Il monolocale era molto carino ma non troppo funzionale, non avremmo fatto più di una notte. Il bagno è cieco, l'area esterna piccola e un po' affollata, quindi abbiamo avuto difficoltà a stendere i costumi e farli asciugare.

Même si le logement ne dispose pas de place de parking, nous avons réussi à trouver facilement une place dans les parkings gratuits alentours. Nous avons eu une chambre au rez de chaussée, ce qui n’est pas top au niveau du vis-à-vis. De plus, la chambre est mal insonorisée, nous avons été réveillés dans la nuit par les bruits de la rue.

- JEAN-SÉBASTIEN (9/5): - Lovely host, very clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed it ! Only thing a little annoying is the key that removes electricity as soon as you remove it, not really convenient to not have at least a 1 minute timer when you exit the room at night for example

- Chris Cheetham (10/5): - The location of Lefaki is perfect for 2 night old town break. Free parking is a 5 minute flat walk away. Courtyard garden and a roof terrace. Very comfortable beds. Elena the owner is friendly and helpful.

- Annettte (9/5): A very convenient and comfortable place to stay with a lot of character. - Location was excellent. Right in the heart of everything. The room was spacious and had everything we could need. It was lovely and quiet at night. Our host, Elena was lovely and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The shared courtyard was so pretty and convenient. Loved the entrance to the studio. The shower was the best ever - no curtain! Would have loved to stay longer - next time. There was nothing we didn’t like.

- mary-alethea (10/5): Great position - Position was really good. There was room to park a car. 3 min walk to centre. Very clean great size room Very impersonal. It’s run by an agent who checked us in with zero personality. We did visit the agent for a couple of things…kettle didn’t work …but they did nothing.
