Guest Reviews
- Michelle (8/5): This place is definitely comfortable for a small family on holiday. I’d suggest being able to lock out the big bedroom t - It was quite and location. Some small details were left undone. Towels were in the dryer. Towels hanging in the downstairs closet. There were no hand towels in the restroom.
- Barry (1/5): Bad - No plug sockets working for the first day.
This is not a sea view apartment it’s a house on a street with a back yard. View was terrible.
- Margaret (1/5): Felt sick sat and cried what an awful experience - Nothing It was absolutely awful black mould in all the cupboards at the bottom in kitchen no shelves in them yellow damp patch on ceiling dirty oven door chipped counter tops extension lead pinned to wall for fridge freezer bathroom mirror splattered and dirty dirty black pipes under sink in bathroom sink very uncomfortable sofa no drawers in bedrooms wardrobe back hanging off boiler stuck on wall not boxed in in the bedroom smell of damp mould
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional - House getting some work and this provided everything we needed
- Lorna (5/5): Ok for what we needed - At first glance it was ok. The beds were comfy and it did have what was described on the booking page It wasn’t very clean, lots of dust everywhere. It’s very dated and the door under the stairs wasn’t screwed onto its hinge so partially fell on me when I opened it. There’s a boiler in one bedroom which was noisy so my friend and I ended up sleeping in the same room, luckily there were 2 beds in there. There’s a lack of plug sockets, especially in the bedroom. I had to charge my phone at the other side of the room. There was an extension lead across the back of the cooker so the fridge can be plugged in too.
It was concerning that the ‘clean’ towels and linen were just thrown in a pile on an ironing board in the cupboard under the stairs.
The bathroom had wallpaper peeling off and the lino under the sink was coming up/ not put down properly.
- Karen (5/5): Ok but needs improvement - Comfortable beds
Own space Location, House two doors up attracted lots of teenagers who were verbal, noisy & smoking weed daily so
Neighbourhood was questionable
Back yard very dirty
Lots of extension leads ? Dangerous
Very steep stairs
Bathroom light went and ceiling too high to change it as Owner asked so had to leave bathroom door open & use light from hallway which didn’t let in much light, ok for toilet but not for bath/Shower
Shower head/hose leaking so reduced power & flooded bathroom
