The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive (via WhatsApp) we left our rental car on the road nearby (Rruga Ludovik Saraçi) for free and felt this was safe and adequate for our needs so no requirement to pay for parking, although we saw plenty of paid for parking lots. The host let us leave our suitcase in the property while we hiked (not secured room but we felt it was safe), we had no issues with this so very convenient. Nothing.

The host is super welcoming, he helped us out with many requests and got us tickets to cross to Valbona , he always answers and is very nice !! • Gianna (8/5): Gute Base für die Berge - Die Lage ist super und man kann gut auf der Straße in der Nähe parken (wir haben das Auto dort sogar für ein paar Tage stehen lassen während wir in den Bergen waren). Tee und Kaffee sind zudem inklusive und man kann sich die Getränke selbst zubereiten. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß schnell und einfach erreichbar. Wir sind zwar sehr früh gestartet, haben allerdings kein Frühstück bekommen.

• Van Overmeiren (10/5): Fantastic stay in modern, clean & beautifully decorated boutique hotel - We had a fantastic stay at Villa Loredan! As the pictures suggested, the hotel is beautifully decorated with art and photography on the walls, and modern furniture. The bed was extremely comfy, and the room overall felt super clean. There’s a sense of peace in the hotel, the perfect base for exploring the city. We loved the location, just a short walk away from many restaurants and some supermarkets, but tucked away enough so that it was very quiet. The surrounding streets are so charming. The owners were responsive and eager to help out, e.g. recommending bike hire services. Lastly, there’s something really special about seeing the mountains from the window when waking up in the morning. I would very highly recommend!

• Sharmeen (10/5): Highly recommend to anyone. - Beautiful property. Very centrally located but in a quiet street so you don’t have to deal with the noise. It was raining when we arrived and there were umbrellas in the rooms to use. They allowed us to store our luggage as we went for a hike which was very much appreciated. All in all great value for money! Nothing, really.
• Guest (10/5): Perfect stay in a central location - I loved my stay at Villa Loredan! Situated in a quiet neighbourhood just off the main streets. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. They were flexible with a late check in time and their son was very kind and welcoming. Everything was high quality, well thought out, clean, and comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay again if I am ever back in Albania! Thank you so much <3 No downsides!

• Brittney (10/5): - Beautiful and quiet property off of the main busy strip. It’s a close enough walk and then far enough from the noise. This was one of your favourite stays in Albania. Location, Spacious room, comfortable bed, great patio and amazing staff. There is no parking on site, but easy enough to park on the street around the corner. Don’t hesitate to book at Villa Loredan, you will not be disappointed.

• Paula (10/5): - Great location right by the center but in a quiet and calm street and close to where most intercity buses stop. The bed was super comfy, nice shower and bathroom... We had a great stay and got some awesome rest here! AC was very good (quiet and kept the room the perfect temperature!!). We were able to store some stuff we didn't need at the hotel while we went away overnight for the Theth-Valbonë hike, which was very convenient. Overall a great stay, would 100% recommend! No breakfast, but we knew this when booking and there is a very complete kitchen guests can use, as well as many restaurants and cafes a short walk away.

The location is perfect.. an easy 10 min walk from where the bus drops you off if you’re coming from Tirana. Only a a block away from where the bars/ restaurants are but it’s super quiet! They were able to help secure a shuttle to Theth and store luggage while away doing the hike. Easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp if you have any questions before/ after!

The common area with small kitchenette and dining is truly amazing. I loved the old style record player and all tge artwork and photography. I loved staying here. The cleaning staff are lovely and manager so kind and helpful. I thoroughly recommend staying here. It's close to everything. It's quiet too.

The room is modern and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen and seating area, which was also lovely. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the main street, meaning it is close to main attractions but quiet during the night. We were also able to leave our luggage during our Valbona-Theth trek, which was fabulous. I really recommend this hotel for your stay in the city!

• Helen (10/5): Great value for luxury room - Great hotel, extremely comfortable, very new and prices modest compared to other places, likely because the place is still establishing a reputation. Very flexible with early check-in. Nothing. Note that many bathrooms in Albania don't have a base (they mop) and that shower drains may smell - providing a ceramic tile to put over it instead of room perfume would be convenient (that's also at other places and was not strong at this one). Just put a towel over the drain when not using it and it won't smell.
• SR2024 (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful stay! - The Villa is gorgeous! One of the best places we've stayed in Albania. It was a 15-minute walk from where the bus dropped us off. We walked through central Shkoder along a fun pedestrian street, and through a quiet neighborhood. There were signs to help guide us along the way. Kolindo reached out right after booking to go over check-in. He was very responsive and kind; he even helped us find a room at the owner's other hotel in town when we wanted to stay an extra night. The Villa is lovely and quiet, with a spacious central kitchen to use. Our room was fresh and bright, with a window to look out, and was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful with a spacious shower. The bed was very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed here more than one night- HIGHLY recommend. It was easy to get back to the pedestrian areas to eat and walk around. Nothing

The place was very comfortable, and it feels very luxurious. Odd comment, but the house-keeping was very impressive - reminded me of a 5 star hotel elsewhere.

• Lois (10/5): A beautiful place in the heart of Shkoder. Highly recommend. - Villa Loredan is really comfortable and excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is beautifully designed throughout and the lighting added to the ambience. The shower is bliss. Perfectly located, it's a 5 minute walk to the pedestrian area and plenty of well priced cafes. We've stayed in many places on this trip and this was our favourite. We can't comment on how well equipped the kitchen is because we only used it to make hot drinks and stored a few things in the fridge but it is brand new. Highly recommend.

Delicious warm croissants from a local bakery served each morning with freshly brewed espresso coffee. A bright shared dining and kitchen area with wine glasses etc. My room had a huge terrace, perfect for the first night’s sunset; sadly there was a big thunderstorm on the second night. Very comfortable bed and a big armchair; plenty of coat hangers. Compact but well designed bathroom with amenities provided.

Although Booking.com advertised a room with balcony, apparently room with balcony was only available for a higher price - which we would have paid, had we known.

• Kristina (9/5): - Very nice, modern and quite Hotel in the middle of Shkodra. We liked it a lot and would come back any time. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything.

They were accommodating about changing details of our bookings to allow for changes in our trip itinerary. One of the rooms we booked was advertised as having two beds. One of these beds was an usable foldout 3/4 length futon. It didn't have legs so didn't stand flat, and had no sheets or bedding. It meant we had to find an additional room late at night in another hotel for one person in our party. Note that they only accept cash. This is more like a multi residence Airbnb than a hotel, so it doesn't offer normal concierge services and there are no staff on site in the evening or early morning.
