Guest Reviews
- John (4/5): Birdwatching cottage perfect - Overall the cottage was brill with everything you need. It's small but perfect for two or family with one child. Perfect location for nature on your doorstep especially birdwatching. Cottage let it self down with a very poor mattress in the main bedroom. You could feel the metal springs easily and this was very uncomfortable. If new mattress fitted the cottage would be a 10 easily.
- Philip (5/5): Nice quirky cottage, let down in certain areas - lovely location. Quirky accomodation I echo the previous reviewers comments. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. Little things could be better - bushes need cutting back by door, no tea or coffee, kitchen roll or washing up cloth.
- Helen (2/5): The accomodation is very compact and unsuitable for elderly with mobility issues. Way overpriced . - Location excellent.
Enclosed garden and very close to common for dog walks.
Patio table and chairs. Lounge settee very uncomfortable.
No instructions on operation of table. No dining table and chairs.
Front door yale lock does not lock when closed. Additional large lock does not line up with keep making it unuseable. Door chain very flimsy. Felt very insecure.
Bathroom lightpull frayed. No handrails in shower or bath.
Bedside light shades do not fit with unit making operation clumsy and awkward. One dies not work at all.
Toilet extractor fan makes alarming noise making it unuseable.
Didn't feel confidant to open or close windows they did not appear to have been moved much.
Bedroom mini blinds dont close leaving the morning sun blinding you as you sit up in bed.
Bed uncomfortable.
So disappointed.
- Cambers (8/5): lovely cottage. -
