Guest Reviews
- Khalid (9/5): - Great place
Very comfortable and very convenient especially if you travelling by car Nil
- Emilio (9/5): - Perfect location in a historic town, easy accessible, very close to local shops, and bus stop to take you to Edinburgh city center. We got to the property, and it was very cold, because heating was not on when we arrive.

- Sandison (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay. Host was very attentive and was happy to assist with everything we needed. The house was ver - Very clean and the host was very hospitable.
Excellent location for Roslin and close to Edinburgh. Nothing - had everything we needed.
- Robyn (8/5): Great location - Great location, walking distance to Rosslyn Chapel. Great communication from the owner, was very quick to answer our question.
- Richard (9/5): A really great location with literally everything you could ask for! - Nearly everything you would need was already there, we just needed some milk and we would have been able to have a hot cuppa the second we walked through the door! The front door outside light didn’t seem to be working so coming back in the dark was fun

- penny (3/5): Dangerous - The location It was gubby, .shower upstairs not finished grouting everywhere. Everything was thrown together..sheets old . Dirt on walls. Garden was overgrown except for a big pile of weeds & looked like they are building a bomb fire. No where to sit out like it has just been bought and the owners have put it on your website quickly without being vetted. And there is a serious customer duty of care, as the iron had 3 broken places on the wire with actual wires exposed. Burnt the toast and fire alarm did not go off , so excepted the fire alarms do not work, very dangerous. We are really disappointed as we paid £450 for 2 nights stay. We were attending a family party in Edinburgh. We have booked with you and our family have too numerous times and been totally satisfied. But i really think this place is misrepresented as a nice place to stay but like I said before there is a duty of care as it isn't nice and grubby and dangerous. I never complain but sadly there is definitely a customer duty and duty of care. And the flags were uneven and an accident waiting to happen
Kind regards

- Nada (10/5): - The property is very clean, spacious and homy. It has everything we needed during our stay. The host is very helpful and responsive. We stayed there for four nights. It is one of the best places we stayed at and booked through booking. Located in the lovely Roslin and is a bus ride away from shops, restaurants and busy old and new town. Hopefully we will go there again.
- Amparo (9/5): - Ubicación y casa
- Paul (5/5): Adequate home for a short stay - This house is located in a quiet neighborhood of Edinburgh, in the small village of Roslin. It is fine for a short visit with a family. The house was well cleaned, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is small but adequate. The owner was quite responsive. The main sitting room has a quite dusty smell - almost like someone had smoked in there a few years ago. We could not get the smell out by opening the windows, though that helped. The house furnishings are quite dated and miss a bit of atmosphere. The TV is also not in the best state anymore. The garden is in need of some maintenance to make it feel more welcoming. The house does not really have a space for dinner - there is a dinner table but it is in the kitchen which does not have a ton of space, so self catering is a bit hard with a family. The photos of the house are a bit flattering (as usual though - nothing egregious). This house would benefit from a thorough modernization.
- Dearbhla (10/5): Excellent accommodation will be back!! - Great location country, sights and Edinburgh so close it was ideal and comfortable Nothing host was also very responsive
- Tabitha (10/5): Amazing - Host was absolutely amazing and couldn’t have done more for us. The house was lovely and clean and very spacious Nothing. Property was great

- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Most of the facilities and the cleanliness in side the house The toilet in the first floor should have a shower or bath facility
The garden should be cleaned and the grass should be cut
- Phoebe (7/5): Good -
- Ah (9/5): Basil was so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble and it was a lovely touch having the basics for when we arrived - The property was fantastic for our family break. We all slept really well in the comfortable beds and the area was so quiet. Would have been nice to have a small table and chairs for eating at, or at least a couple of stools at the breakfast bar in the kitchen (just somewhere to sit and eat at really).
- Letian (9/5): Superb - Bright and clean house all to ourselves. Upstairs toilet needs a bit more work on. Only shower downstairs.
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- H_kane (5/5): Passable - can't watch bbc or itv or euro 2024
- Flavia (9/5): perfect for a few nights, near town, near airport - It was perfect for our one night stay. Near the town and close to the airport. Will definitely go again. We had some issues with the shower, but the host replied promptly and helped to solve the problem. No complaints, great communication.
- Roma (10/5): Lovely bright, comfortable house in great town - Really lovely house, quite spacious, well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts werewere communicative and helpful. Loved Roslin Only thing missing was oil/salt/pepper/milk but really no complaints
- Ata (8/5): Nice and clean but discomfort mattresses. - Very clean and well maintained. All the mattresses were very low quality extra soft and the spring hurting the back all night. Vomiting like marks on upper toilet radiator.
