Guest Reviews
- Charanjit (10/5): - Great location
- John (9/5): -
- Ros (9/5): Very enjoyable, would stay again - We liked its closeness to town, lovely kitchen, very clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Jonathan (9/5): Great place. - Lovely house, beautifully fitted out. Convenient onsite parking, quiet location. Well equipped. Nothing! A great place to stay. Maybe a better frying pan?!
- Mark (9/5): -
- Jane (8/5): Lovely house but a few improvements would make it excellent - The house was in a good position and we loved sitting out on the balcony. The house was cold when we arrived and there were no instructions for the heating. For me the mattress was too firm and could've done with a topper. Also black out blinds are needed to keep the rooms dark enough for sleep. A full length mirror would also be useful. Didn't appreciate being asked to strip the beds either at £126 for the night.
- Constantin (10/5): -
- Rachel (8/5): -
- Carole (9/5): Nicer and better value than a hotel - Super comfy place, short walk to centre. Clean and tidy, like a home from home. Why pay for a hotel when you can get all this space? Maybe some milk for a cuppa on arrival would be nice after a long journey. The shower temp was a bit temperamental, but would def stay again.
- Adam (10/5): Excellent property and position - Really nice property finished throughout to high standards
The position for town is perfect along with a parking space - couldn’t fault anything
- Willis (3/5): Wouldn’t recommend - We booked 24 hours in advance so I don’t know whether that was the issue but the property was unclean and not ready for our visit. The dishwasher was full from a previous guest, there was left over food / milk / Stella in the fridge. It was filthy in some areas - they haven’t seen a wipe in a long time and there’s a fair bit of damage in areas especially the kitchen. The property has a lot of potential but it needs a deep clean and a repaint. It is very much giving student accommodation.
The blinds in the bedrooms are pointless, they block zero light so with it now being light mornings/evenings it’s difficult to sleep. If you are travelling with a small child bring a black out blind unless you want to be awake for the day at 4am. The beds are also very hard and uncomfortable, and the main bedroom had a very musty smell - there’s also no TV in the main. The second bedroom the bed is super low to the floor and difficult to reach one side as there’s a radiator blocking it so not ideal for elders but does have a Tv.
On my booking I asked if it’s possible to supply a bed rail and I was notified that my request was approved but when we arrived there was no rail. I also text the owner a question and they never responded.
The only positive has been the location
- jacqueline (10/5): Great location lovely accommodation - Lovely house with everything you could need. Parking space which was great very quiet and only a 5 minute walk into Lancaster. Would definitely book again Being asked to take the bedding off I didn't think based on the price we should have been asked.
- Melissa (9/5): Lovely place for a stay! - Great location, spotless and really good value for what we needed for a night in Lancaster for four people. The back lock is overly tricky to access. I did call the owner who responded really quickly and did say the lock is tricky. Would probably say that’s updated but otherwise a lovely place
- SUZANNE (10/5): Lovely comfortable stay - Great location
- Camilla (8/5): -
- Yvonne (9/5): Lancaster April 4th 2026 - Warm and welcoming..spacious..loved the kitchen diner!
Beautifully clean, good sized rooms, single bed mattress looked new, granddaughter slept like a log!
Master bed very comfy..it was lovely to look out through the patio doors..even if it was chucking it down!🤣
The living room was nice..we were able to sit and watch some tv comfortably In the double room..bed was a bit low for anyone with hip and knee issues, my friend had to lean forward to miss the TV as she went around the bottom of the bed .
We called the host as we weren't quite sure that the door was locking properly but that was soon sorted out.
Parking is tight, best get bags out before backing in
- Stephanie (8/5): A night on the way to Cumbria - Good location to the town. Nice to have a parking space. A comfortable house for a short stay Second bedroom was a bit tight with the bed being very low and too close to the radiator. No coffee table in the lounge
- Kayleigh (10/5): -
- Moran (10/5): -
- Sharon (9/5): Amazing property in a great location, will definitely stay they again - The property was very modern, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for everything we needed, very close to the shops and the main area. The only grumble was the heating in the main bedroom didn’t work so it was quite chilly in there, however the rest of the house was toasty
- John (9/5): -
- Emma (7/5): - Good location, nice facilities and nicely done up house. No toilet paper, no shower gel, very small space to park, beds were quite firm, no instruction manual, checkout 10am yet asked to empty bins and strip beds. Would have been good to have a heads up on what to bring.
- Steph Martin (9/5): Great 👍 - Great location, spacious rooms, lovely and clean and welcoming Nothing.
Only comments I could make is that one roll of toilet paper for 5 guests for 2 nights its not ideal. The patio doors are quite difficult to lock and could do with somewhere to hang coats downstairs.
- Chris (10/5): Lovely modern property in a great location for visiting Lancaster city centre -
- katarzyna (10/5): - Everything. What a fabulous place.Wipl definetly book it again for the longer stay. Everything was spot on.
- michael (9/5): Excellent stay with very thoughtful owners. - Very nice house with everything necessary for a comfortable weekend. We would definitely like to return. It was good to have parking that close to the city centre but it was difficult to access without disturbing the neighbours. Hopefully they weren’t in.
- Bryan (10/5): Great find - Beautiful home, immaculate inside. Great location.
- Neil (9/5): Very enjoyable and would book again - Very spacious and well appointed. Very close to the centre of Lancaster and able to park three cars - two in allocated bays and one very close by. Beds very comfortable and a good shower. Could do with a coat rack to hang up wet coats and a few dishwasher tablets would be handy to use the dishwasher.
- Bethany (9/5): -
- Joanne (10/5): -
- Nichola (10/5): -
- Michael (7/5): - Location
- Andrea (9/5): - Lovely modern interior...fully equipped kitchen with Island for seating... large Smart TV 's downstairs in kitchen & cosy sitting room... Decent size double spare bedroom room with TV, cute single room and the master suite doesn't need a TV as it's got a balcony and view to the Lancaster skyline. Absolutely spotlessly clean & beautiful interior design in this place. Easy check in procedure.
Really convenient for Lancaster city centre, 5 minute easy walk and also free parking outside which is rare with something so Central. We would definitely stay again. One tiny footnote Could do with maybe a small book with instructions for turning the cooker on, where all the remotes are, and how to lock the patio doors etc as we initially had to do a little bit of figuring out.
However when we messaged with any questions people did get back to us very promptly. Also I thought at one point I'd left something behind and this was dealt with really politely and the staff are super helpful. Lovely place to stay in Lancaster.
- HELEN (5/5): Pretty house - Location
Initial impression is lovely No WiFi
No response re WiFi
No hot water for bath
But did work in the sinks so a mystery why a bath was impossible
Hot shower last night but only one of us could shower this morning
Reasonable hospitality would be just enough coffee etc for arrival for 2 people surely?
We run pubs so hospitality is hugely important
Heating was very hit and miss, very hot in the night, cool in the evening when it was needed
The house is beautifully finished but the important things have been missed. I considered leaving last night and going to a hotel but It was only 1 night so we stayed
- Lee (9/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): Fab house and great location - Fab location for the theatre - bonus that there is parking Would have been a nice touch if there was some milk to go with the tea and coffee - after a long journey a brew would have been very welcome
- Joanna (8/5): -
- Alexander (10/5): - Lovely house, central to town centre, comfortable bed, fantastic!
- Edwina (10/5): Home from home in the heart of Lancaster. Would highly recommend. - Excellent location, well equipped and well presented property. Lovely and warm. Super comfy bed. Couldn’t have asked for more. Nothing to dislike.
- Geraldine clare (9/5): - Lovely house. Great location Everything was lovely nothing to not like .
- harrison (10/5): - Comfortable home, had everything we needed. Lovely beds and pillows. And we'll equipped kitchen , with lovely sofas too. Nothing
- Caroline (10/5): Great house, very comfortable and great kitchen -
- charles (10/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): -
- Poppy (10/5): -
- Jane (8/5): good - the weather
- Carolyn (8/5): Lovely house in a great location - close to everything but wonderfully quiet. - Williamson House is a beautifully presented property, well equipped and very comfortable. An easy walk from the city centre, it's a great base for exploring Lancaster and the parking space is a bonus. Sent a couple of messages pre-stay to enquire whether I could park at the property a couple of hours before check-in but received no reply. Otherwise good communication, so a minor irritation in the overall context of our stay.
- Rachel (8/5): - The house was great, beds were comfortable. We had an issue on check-in but our host responded right away and we were very satisfied with the outcome.
- Jonathan (8/5): - Clean and modern and close to the town centre Check out could be a bit later. A few coffee pods and a coffee machine would be nice
- Stephen (10/5): Great stay at a fabulous property - Facilities were excellent. Everything that you need for a stay away from home. Nothing
- Kathryn (9/5): - Location , clean , modern , nice decor, good communication No wine glasses only 2 pillows on bed only 1 parking space WIFI code needs to be more visible and no milk portions
- Sarah (9/5): Great location for town centre - Beautiful decoration, very cosy Check out at 10 am was too early. It said 10.30 on booking. Com. 11am is a better time.
- Mohammad (9/5): -
- Sophie (10/5): Gorgeous house, gutted only stayed for one night! - Gorgeous house, really cozy and warm. Nothing,
- Dawn (9/5): Immaculate comfortable house in good central location with off-street parking - The house was easy to find and beautifully presented. It was spotlessly clean and comfortably warm. Would prefer to receive access code a few days in advance.
- cathybr (10/5): Williamson house - Great kitchen A minor gripe but there were no coat hooks to hang out soaking wet coats.
- Josheila (10/5): Beautiful accommodation and comfy - Location was good. Property was clean and comfortable. There is a church very near by so the ringing of the bells on a Sunday was quite loud.
- Grant (8/5): Great place to stay. - Location, level of facilities, cleanliness, noise level Nothing serious. One bedroom was a bit small. The curtains in the bedrooms might be an issue in mid summer as they were quite light in colour. The back door lock was difficult to operate until we learned to lift the lock as we turned the key.
- amanda (10/5): Amazing! - Great location and has everything you need. Very clean and spacious. No faults.
- Helen (10/5): -
- Phillip (9/5): Never been to Lancaster previously, enjoyed the place and friendly people. - Nicely central but not too busy. Easy walk to town and castle, with bonus walks along canal. Good places to eat along canal path. Not a lot!
- Mandi (10/5): Girls night - Location was fab, clean, well equipped, very impressed Needs more pillows on beds or choice of extra ones in a wardrobe,
- Christopher (9/5): - Nice property. Couple of the bits in the kitchen need attention but overall property is really good and well worth the money
- Gillian (10/5): Clean, comfortable and in a good location. - The house is beautifully clean and well maintained. The location was ideal for us too. There was enough room for us all and you can park outside. I absolutely would book again and use this as a base for Lancaster. N/a
- Josie (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): - Great location 👌. The beds were a little firm for us.
- Andy (9/5): -
- Vivienne (9/5): Comfortable stay in centre of Lancaster - Great location, short walk from city centre. House is very tastefully refurbished. Comfortable stay. Host was responsive to messages. Parking space outside is a bit tight but there is extra visitors parking at end of close if needed. The booking.com listing said there was a washing machine but this was a mistake. There is only one bathroom upstairs.
- Steven (10/5): - Excellent property
- André (9/5): -
- Linda (10/5): -
- Andies (10/5): Gem of a house - Absolutely lovely house, great location beautifully clean everything you need for a little break, easy to check in and out fantastic would recommend Nothing everything was perfect

- Graham (10/5): Brilliant house - Beautifull house with everything you need and very close to town centre very spacious property Nothing

- Anthea (10/5): Perfect, it was great value for money and a fabulous property. - Staying for 1 night in order to attend a Graduation Ceremony, the house was perfect…..we wished we had booked to stay longer. In the heart of Lancaster, it is walking distance from the centre, it has everythng you need for a comfy stay. Clean and fresh, the property is maintained to highest standard. - Martyn (9/5): Beautiful house great location. Would certainly return if back in Lancaster again - Location and parking. House is lovely. Gap under shower screen.
Bathroom sink hot water tap loose.
These minor issues need attention.
Washing machine not accessible although still in description.
- Julia (7/5): Good - Need more mirrors in bedrooms and a darker blind on windows. Tap broken in bathroom. No salt and pepper
- Laura (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee was provided. Great social kitchen. Rear entrance made it feel very private. A pint of milk in the fridge would of been welcome, but there was a shop a few mins walk away.
- Mubeen (10/5): Exceptional -

- Geoff (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebekah (9/5): Fantastic place! - Clean place. Very comfortable. There is parking but it is a very small spot and the neighbor parks next to you. So it was too tricky for us to navigate. So we used the car park down the road a bit.
