Guest Reviews
- Jocelyne Diane (1/5): - Dirty !!
Carpet smell bad
Sofa dirty
Kitchen dirty Till time of check in I didn't get any informations.
I have to call them.
The lady answer me that I have to wait 2 hours more because they have to fixe the shower.
I never sleep there.
The same day I change the appartement.
Bins was direct on my door and smell 😡😡😡
Toilets was ...
Oh my God !!!
I NEVER SEE THAT IN MY LIFE
- Varun (1/5): Uncomfortable and disappointing due to poor facilities and noise. - Location was good and keys were easily accessible from the key box. The sofa was broken, so only two of us could sleep comfortably through the night. The room has no window, making it congested and stuffy without fresh air, and opening the door brings in unpleasant noise and smells from the nearby restaurant. Additionally, parking is difficult because the restaurant’s car often blocks access, making it unsuitable as a residential stay—I regret not requesting a refund.
- Pamela (6/5): -
- Marzena (1/5): - When we arrived, we found there was no bedding for two people, no towels. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed.
- Justin (7/5): -
- Natasha (6/5): Sufficient but a lot of things could be better - It had most things we needed during a stay like towels, kitchen utensils, fan. We’ve previously visited and had a pretty pleasant trip last and decided to visit again (despite the blinds situation). However, this time, we could smell mould as soon as we arrived and weren’t sure if the ventilator was working. We couldn’t open the doors to ventilate the room either as the bins (+flies) from the next door takeaway store were just next to the door. As previously mentioned in my previous review, better blinds would’ve also helped with our stay. We had to also purchase hand soaps as there weren’t any available when we arrived.
- Snead (4/5): Not "Beautiful" - The owner had clearly tried to address some of the previous complaints. There was a fan and multi socket in the room. Tea and coffee provided. Bathroom was clean and kitchen with no sticky surfaces. Shower did not leak but was unfinished with a big gap underneath; pull cord electrics also hanging from the ceiling but everything worked and shower strength was very good. Sadly, the lack of opening windows was a problem. We took another fan which was essential for air. The smell from the bins outside was stomach churning. A lot of cigarette butts and dirt near the apartment. Noise from room above woke us all up at 4am. All of the windows were opaque. Although the location was 5 mins walk from the Marina, the area was very rundown with a lot of broken glass in the car park and just along the pavement. It is a shame that some of the problems are not solvable by the owners as they had obviously worked hard to clean the room and improve the facilities on offer. We would not return to this apartment.

- Steven (1/5): Only stayed in it because we couldn’t afford anywhere else - This property had a cracked shower so water flooded the bathroom . The sofa was covered in stains of god knows what . And the place was filthy This property had a cracked shower so water flooded the bathroom . The sofa was covered in stains of god knows what . And the place was filthy. We have contacted owner with pictures but has not replied
- Ruby (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- Duffin (3/5): Wouldn't recommend - The the table, the fact there was a kettle. It was very dirty, kitchen sides where sticky, pubic hair on the bathroom floor and shower floor. Both mirrors had residue on them. The is a crack on the shower floor which leaks under the shower. Limescale on the shower glass.
Mould on the kitchen ceiling.
The bedding had sticky pink stuff on it. The pillows and duvet all had stains on and went and brought new ones to use. It smelt really musky upon entering as there is no windows to open and the fan did little to help with the heat within the room. There was stains on the sofa, the head board was very lose turning in bed it banged against the wall. It was nothing like what the pictures showed. Who ever your cleaner is you need a new one
- Charles (1/5): Cannot believe this room complies with health regulations. - Shower was good The entrance door to the unit was right next door to overflowing and smelly food waste bins from takeaway shops. On entering premises we were greeted by blowflies and the most putrid stench and could not find an openable window to vent the room.We booked for twin beds and only one bed was made up.
- Michelle (4/5): Overpriced and unpleasant - Nothing Mould on curtains,no ventilation, smells of curry, stains on bed base, shower door broke
Tierd
Tv not working
- Jones (4/5): Disappointing - The kitchen was fully equipped .Toaster kettle microwave airfryer fridge freezer the shower room and toilet was clean and tidy . We couldn't open any windows. There was no air ventilation. It is next door to a chicken and kebab takeaway who keep their refuge bins right outside the door. Also, a container full of cigarettes ends outside the door, which also stinks .the takeaway has a delivery door that was busy and very loud opening and closing until nearly midnight The apartment stunk of garbage and was very, very unpleasant..there is an apartment above, and the tenants were very noisy .also, the apartment could do with a fresh coat of paint on walls and woodwork. The bed needs replacing the base, which was badly marked, and the mattress felt like a waterbed. This was not for us .
- Jaine (1/5): Most disappointing apartment I’ve ever stayed in. - Nothing unfortunately The location was dismal and very hard to locate as I arrived in the dark. Drove around the one way system four times before locating it as it wasn’t directly on the street. The ground floor apartment was in between a boarded up building and another building that had huge red bins in front of it. It was difficult to locate the key as it was in a key safe and there was no light above the key safe. On entering the apartment it smelt of damp and I’m really unsure what else but it wasn’t very nice. It was very cold in there. There was a portable heater in the bedroom/living room which although I switched it on and it said 16° no heat came out of it at all. There was another portable heater on the kitchen countertop which I didn’t attempt to use. I tried to turn the television on and there were no channels available. Just photos from memories. Decided to go and buy a pizza and then turn the oven on to cook it and within 10 minutes there was smoke pouring out of the oven a really accrid smelling smoke which was enough for me to decide that I could no longer stay as I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the door open long enough for the smoke to dissipate. I contacted via bookings the owner and he told me how to switch the portable heater on but by then I’d already decided to leave so I left at 8 o’clock in the evening in the dark with nowhere else to go having fully paid for the room. Sadly the most disappointing apartment or stay that I’ve ever had with Booking.com. I’m currently trying to get my money back which the owner told me I needed to contact Booking.com to log the dispute. Having done that Booking.com have told me that he doesn’t agree with my thoughts on the apartment so that’s where I am at this point. I took a video of the oven and the smoke but unable to post on here.
Took photos of the stains on the couch and oven door though.
I did let the owner know that I was leaving and also why.
Locked the apartment up and left .
- Dellow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (8/5): Very good - Like the way apt. is set-up up & was perfect for my solo trip.
- Samantha (10/5): Perfect for us with our doggy too - Really practical good location fir our visit to see a friend who lives 1 street away Perhaps 2 more pillows and there were only 2 small towels an extra 2 bath sheets would be perfect. It was so nice to have Tea,coffee and other bits there. Thank you
- Craig (1/5): Terrible tried contacting the property and booking.com but no help - Visually the property is nice Woken up early hours of the morning by the noise of mice/rats gnawing and scuttling in the ceiling space.
- Mohan (8/5): Very good -
- Mohan (8/5): Very good -
- Rosie (4/5): Disappointing, but nice area - It's a shame because this could be a really nice place. The location is in walking distance of the Milford Docks and shops, and in theory the place has everything you need, but it just needs some care and attention. There were at least 3 holes in the bedsheets (surely must have noticed when putting the sheets on!?), old coffee stuck to the bottom of the almost empty coffee pot, kitchen floorboard was bending when walked over and looked like it would break soon, taps in bathroom too short for the sink so water went backwards over the sink, there was a crack in the shower floor, the shower knob was on backwards so you had to turn it cold for hot water (took me a while to work that one out), no instructions on how to use the heater/TV etc, the plug socket was hanging off the wall, a small amount of mold next to the door. There was just no care or effort put into it.
- Sally (10/5): Quick comfy stay - Easy to locate, parking outside, well equipped. Nice and cosy. Bed really comfy.
- Hannah (5/5): Passable - Clean and ideal location for theatre - excellent kitchen facilities too including air fryer! It’s misleading - we thought there would be a sofa bed in a separate room as it says bedroom and living room, but the whole thing is one room. Plus the sofa bed kept collapsing.
- Leader (1/5): Bad - Absolutely appalling electric sockets hanging off wall very damp an mouldy not as stated on advertisement disgusting Appalling not suitable to rent out at all ive requested a full refund we didn't stay we left immediately to somewhere un damp un damaged safer for a autistic child an disabled adult
- Thomas-james (9/5): Superb -
- Jill (8/5): Very good -
- Wheelsares (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (8/5): Very good - A nice Dog friendly apartment, no garden for them. Clean and spacious with everything you needed. Car park literally right outside the door. Only downside was the chicken/kebab place next door, they stand outside talking right next to the front door.
- Luke (1/5): Bad - Pictures are deceiving, it was dirty bedding was dirty all around not much attention had been taking to the cleaning, pullout bed is broken, and the front door backs on to a noisy fast food kitchen blasting music until 11.30ish, also a very loud street on the weekend
- Anthony (1/5): Wish we hadn’t booked it. Would have been expensive at half the price. - Nothing Wrong address on Booking.
No information regarding access, lucky the neighbor knew the procedure.
Too many other things to list.
- Tracy (10/5): Absolutely fantastic apartment - Lovely location very clean Very clean had tea coffee sugar already there and use of a washing machine fantastic apartment. Would definitely be staying there again and again
- James (7/5): Was good for the night I needed to be in the area -
- Marlene (7/5): Great location for Marina - Great location. Convenient to the marina.
- Carl (7/5): Good -
- Ramgopal (8/5): Great base location for you to explore the Pembrokeshire coast! - Location - walkable from the beach, opposite a public car park where the rates were very reasonable and shops less than 5 mins drive from the house. It was easy to come in and move around Pembrokeshire coast from this location. This is really knitpicking, the experience was really great. The kitchen did not have kitchen towels which we realised after spilling some water on the counter and there was no sugar - again realised after we made some tea. The fan also was a bit dusty. However, given the proximity to so many places, they were fixed quickly.
- Taline (3/5): Not the best stay, did not enjoy. - The host communicated well and even though their cleaner let them down, they did everything they could to get the place ready for us. Unfortunately this apartment was not beautiful as stated. We found the ventilation very poor as there were no windows that we could open. (We had to open the door which led to the street.) This resulted in an unpleasant smell throughout the place.
- Asma (8/5): The property was nice and clean, situated very close to the town center, exactly as shown pictures. -
- Amaju (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (4/5): Disappointed with the apartment - It was a bit small for three people. There isn’t any where to hang your clothes. There isn’t any ventilation as windows don’t open. At the weekend there were people outside smoking and being noisy. The work tops were sticky. The wooden spoons had mould on them. This property is a bit run down, definitely not beautiful as stated in the description,
- Natasha (9/5): We had a lovely and comfy stay. - It was very clean and had all the facilities we needed! Really close to the train station too. The curtains in the property doesn’t block out even with the blinds behind shut so it gets very bright quite early in the morning. However everything else was really tidy and lovely.
- Conor (8/5): Very good -
- Munne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dora (8/5): 1 Night Stop Over - Does exactly what it says on the tin. Ideal 1 night apartment/flat in ideal location for Marina etc. Fan provided by host for cooler room. Situated on lower level right next to pavement and walkway. Noisy passers by and delivery drivers for next door takeaway. No ventilation so quite warm.
- Shahid (9/5): Superb -
- Usha (7/5): Good -
- Rebecca (5/5): NOT beautiful and not suitable for more than 2 guests - Cheap price and the kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you could need in it. Other than that, unfortunately this was the worst Booking.com property we have stayed in. The blinds and curtains do not block out the light at all. Also, the sofa bed mechanism was broken and the sofa bed is very uncomfortable to sleep on without the downward tilt from the broken mechanism. It was impossible to fit all 4 of us around the table as there was a random lamp without a bulb in it and heater/ fan in the way- the bed and sofa bed and dining set are in the same room and there isn't much room for anything. The taps in the bathroom don't fit the basin properly as they are too short so the water trickles over the side of the basin. The floor in the kitchen is uneven and creaky. No storage space for clothes. The owner asked us what time we were going to be checking in which isn't a problem but they then commented that the cleaners were going in later that day. 4pm is late enough to check in as it is. Imagine our surprise then that we had to make up our own bedding for the sofa bed and It smelt musty as it was stored in an ottoman within the sofa bed. The bedding for the main bed had been made up but the fitted sheet barely fitted the mattress and was inside out. Duvet covers were poor quality. We would never stay here again. It is especially unsuitable for any more than 2 guests.
- Enkisha (7/5): Good -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (6/5): The place was comfortable and clean but basic. Car parking right outside which was good. - It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was nowhere to hang clothes, or even a set of drawers.
It was in a very noisy location, as kebab shop close by and attracted loud youngsters.
- Helen (9/5): enjoyed a pleasant stay - convenient and comfortable taps on bathroom sink too short
- Trudy (6/5): Pleasant - Nice little studio flat, close to the theatre Mattress really uncomfortable, curtains & blinds not blocking the light out
- Stefan (4/5): Poor. - I had asked specifically to have a sofa bed prepared. This had been confirmed. The sofa bed was there but no bedding, leading my friend having to sleep in his clothes.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - Perfect size for a couple coming to the area. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Excellent location for the marina and very good value! Would return
- Sammy (1/5): Bad - The location was good nice and quiet friendly people. Air fryer was filthy and oven and hobs and freezer, sides was sticky obviously hadn't been cleaned after last visitors. Sofa bed was broken so couldn't be used as a bed so kids had to stay at either side. Bed was uncomfortable and stained hole in wall and shower, shower door wouldn't close properly and shower was faulty as was going hot and cold n temperamental like the nob had been put on wrong because figured it out on last day only worked properly when was switched to stop 🙄
- Kelly (7/5): Everything you needed - Close to harbour and restaurant A little too noisy alleyway at times
Blackout curtains needed
- Gareth (9/5): Lovely apartment and perfect for myself and my daughter. Easy to find, comfortable. - Instructions recieved promptly from host and easy to accomplish Nothing

- Mckeown (6/5): Nice apartment inside, area it’s situated is run down - Comfortable bed Outside not very tidy
- Jayne (6/5): Pleasant - It was a good base for us It was very noisy at night with the neighbours, lots of cars outside all hours.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Was able to get in early, parking outside and a very cosy apartment had a fantastic family night
- Chandrashekhar (7/5): Please stay - Location
Clean
Budget Sometimes noisy in the evening
No ventilation
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Sara (1/5): Dreadful and scary - Awful place. 20 youths running up and down alleyway all night. Received WiFi code on day of departure. Was located next to kebab house and a HMO full of strange men. I was scared to leave the property
- Rebecca (10/5): Couldn’t of asked for better - The property was perfect ideal location close to everything fully equipped with everything needed will definitely book there again
- Evans (8/5): Very good -
- Harris (3/5): Poor -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Houghton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (4/5): This place seemed a bargain, but would look elsewhere next time. - Very central location.
Very amenable host (via phone).
Very clean kitchen and bathroom.
Great size TV.
Dog friendly at no extra charge.
Free tea/coffee a nice touch. Unacceptably stained sofa/sofa bed. Sorry, don't think I'm too 'precious' over cleanliness but this made me feel downright 'icky'. It should have been professionally cleaned or replaced.
No opening windows, so apartment (which was heavily 'air freshened') felt oppressive and stuffy.
VERY thin ceiling with a noisy upstairs neighbour.
All above contributed to a very poor night's sleep.
- Mathew (10/5): Perfect - Absolutely lovely little flat, everything you need is provided instant replays from the owner, perfect location, I can not say a bad word about it, will definitely be staying again.
- Tracy (10/5): Very very happy - The property was absolutely beautiful very clean and I would definitely recommend and would definitely be going back
- Anonymous (10/5): Brilliant - Good quality kitchen and bathroom upto date Window to open in living room to get some fresh air
- Jake (6/5): Pleasant -
- Berry (10/5): A short, but enjoyable and satisfying stay. - This was my second stay in his delightful apartment. On the first stay I had a couple of issues which I thought were private, unfortunately they were published. The owner contacted me and this time everything was absolutely fine.
Having spoken and emailed the owner I know her to be a really nice person anxious to satisfy and please her customers.
On arrival, which was nearly 9pm, the apartment was warm, welcoming, clean and ready for me.
although there is building work going on I was not disturbed at all and didn't hear anything. There is plenty of parking space outside the front door, but workers on other parts of the building are using the outside area. They are co-operative, but have to be found.
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Close to centre and takeaway outlets right next to a town car park with free parking between 7pm and 9am complimentary tea and coffee
- Berry (8/5): A comfortable andpleasant stay - Location was alright for my requirements.
Access via the key safe was easy.
The furniture and equipment was very good and relatively new.
All in all very useful, comfortable and pleasant. I indicated I would arrive between 5 and 6pm and actually arrived about 5.30 pm.
There was nothing telling me how to use any of the equipment - fortunately a local friend came in for coffee and got the tv working, but I couldn't watch live programmes!
The evenings were getting cold and there was no indication of heating.
There was no Wi-Fi, when I arrived back home there was an email telling me the Wi-Fo access - it was timed 17.45!
Other than the lack of information it is a very good situation.
- Deborah (7/5): Good - It is a well equipped apartment on the Main Street. Unfortunately very noisy as people stood right outside the front door. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived at check in time 4pm ut unfortunately couldn’t get hold of host at all by phone text or email. We therefore had to keep calling and eventually at 5.30 we rang again and the host gave us the code. She did apologise but from the reviews this has happened before so maybe the host could text her guest in the morning of arrival with the access code so this doesn’t happen again.
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Warren (6/5): Experience ok but would not rebook as too noisy - Well equipped property close to shops and reasonable price In a town square next to two pubs and fast food takeaways very noisy with deliveries and staff sitting outside front door on their breaks until midnight. Small apartment has no fresh air from opening windows
- Michelle (8/5): Loved it - Well situated, clean well maintained Nothing
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominika (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Ashraf (9/5): Best studio apartment - This small studio apartment had everything in place. We loved the way the space was utilised.
Had cutleris, plates, bowl and spoons and knifes. Anything you think about in kitchen we had it. They had fridge, washing machine, air fryer, hob, kettle and microwave. All clean!!! Nothing to complain Ah the ventilation needs to be looked into the only option for ventilation was opening the door and using curtain for a while until you get fresh air. The windows are sealed. Bathroom and kitchen had ventilation it's just the living room
- Christopher (7/5): Good - Convenient location. Easy to park. Good facilities in the apartment in general. Comfortable bed. Freshly decorated..
Reasonable price. No window could be opened and being ground floor people were walking close by the windows. There was no information provided for connecting to the WiFi - it would be easy to have that in the apartment rather than having to phone the owner.
- Nancy (10/5): Lovely apartment, spacious for the size, great location and easy to find - Perfect size for us, plenty of space and good facilities No windows to keep the place cool whilst we were out apart from a fan which came in very handy
- Dave1259 (8/5): Restful, comfortable and Clean accommodation - Very central and only 5 minute walk to the Harbour, supermarket and 1 minute to a choice of takeaways and pubs. Very quiet location. Free parking on street after 6pm until 10AM next day. I don't think anything could be improved. Perhaps a roasting tray or pizza pan in the kitchen. Oh, and some wine glasses, it was a bit odd drinking wine from a tumbler.
