- Anastasia (10/5): - Good location and nice room

- Javier (10/5): Very clean place good location - Nice and quiet they need to renew the bathroom water come outside the shower Location and service staff very friendly

- Vanessa (7/5): I was satisfied - The breakfast is basic. There is bread with butter and jam, coffee, joghurt and banana (some days also papaya), milk, tea. But if you buy some eggs or cheese you can pimp it up cheaply. I appreciate that it wasnt limited to only one piece of bread per person so you could actually get quite full.
I like that there is 2 tables á 4 chairs that makes it easy to connect with other travelers - I have had lots of interactions and conversations in the evenings or the morning
The location is nice. From the Busstation you only have to walk down the main road for like 20 min, then a little walk up in a side street to the hostel. From there you can reach the local market or touristic streets with souvenirs within 10 min.
24h check in was convenient as well. Actually stayed 2 nights longer and because the bed was free i could easily extend! I was in a single bed and the matress was quite firm
The code to open the door would beep pretty loudly. You have to properly push the door for the lock to close and pull while putting the code, otherwise it wont work. Many people didnt understand so they had to attempt at least 2 times to open or close the door and the beeping is annoying!
In my room the shower was hot most times. Only when many people showered it was only medium.. other rooms apparently had no hot showers
The hairdryer you can lend for 10 bol which is cheap but still.. it wasnt the best either and overheated fast so I just dried my roots and let the rest air dry since I didnt want to wait 2 min each time for it to work a few minutes
- Juan Antonio (10/5): -
- Christian (9/5): - Personale gentile e molto disponibile
- Adam (9/5): Very comfortable, great location - Nice family run hostel, very comfortable and in a great location between San Pedro square and the main road. Extended my stay there because I thought it was great. Standard hostel breakfast of bread, butter, jam and banana. With some cereal and fresh fruit too. Thin walls, so you can hear people in other rooms if they are making noise.
- Andrea Nicol (2/5): PESIMO TRATO, PESIMA LIMPIEZA - La ubicación.

- Ella (8/5): Nice hostel for a couple of nights - lovely staff members who are so helpful / willing to go the extra mile for you - Super friendly and helpful staff
Smaller hostel Bathrooms had no hooks or space to change
Showers were always freezing cold
Beds had no curtains
- Alberto (9/5): Superb -
- Kathryn (8/5): Very good -
- Ivana (8/5): Good value for money - Basic breakfast, they have laundry service. Near to the center. The bed is not the most comfortable.
- David (3/5): very disappointed - The staff was incredibly nice! Booking.com incorrectly stated check-in is at 10am and the rooms have heat. Check-OUT is at 10am! Sheets did not fit the bed. The thin towel smelled like mildew, no hand towel was given. Bed lamps non-working. I realize this is a hostel not a 5-star resort. I booked a private room and bathroom but glass walls/doors means it's noisy with voices and lights from other guests.
- William (9/5): Superb - Great value for money! Breakfast was really nice (fresh bread & papaya). The staff were really lovely, the laundry service is fast and we were able to store our luggage for multiple days for free. Beds were comfy and facilities were clean. Not a social hostel if that is what you're after. They also do not have an 18+ policy for the dorms so we shared a dorm with a mother and her toddler (who were staying there long-term) which wasn't ideal. She had also taken over the room with toys and other stuff. I think it would be better if the dorms were 18+ and children were able to only stay in the private rooms. But we asked to change rooms and it was fine.
It would be better if each bed in the dorms had a powerpoint.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely owners, super friendly and helpful
- Miki (10/5): 3 days in La Paz! - We stayed at Atatau in the low season and had the place to ourselves!
Very comfortable, clean and the staff were lovely and attentive to all our needs.
They assisted with laundry, booking a taxi, and local knowledge.
Breakfast was basic but filling. Wifi was excellent.
A great location and base to explore the city!
Highly recommended
- Ti (6/5): Great value for money - The cheapest private room in a central location. WiFi is not the best but workable. There is an external cafe located beside the hostel which is extremely convenient. Excellent value for money. Hostel arranges for the cheapest tours too to Cholita Wrestling and other attractions. Staff mostly spoke English and are helpful. Almost half of my stay i did not have hot showers in my room. Brought it up to the staff on the second night but it was still not resolved by the forth night. Not acceptable on cold nights. It was suffering and uncomfortable. Hot shower is one of the most important factors in any accommodation, esp in cold weather, and any accommodation that fails to provide this does not deserve a high rating. Bathroom does not have any hooks to hang clothes or proper drainage so water would spill outside onto the bedroom floors. Doors of bathroom are a.challenge to be closed. A freezing cold experience having to reach outside the bathroom for clothes, towel or toiletries while showering.
Ladder to the top bed is slippery. Room has a top window that is exposed which poses a slight privacy concern.
Breakfast is miserable and often run out by 9am. Coffee is stale and cold. It should either be improved or omitted from providing altogether.
- Gon (1/5): Bad - One element of the staff was beyond rude to me, talking loud to me and in a condescending tone. It was a terrible experience
- Celine (7/5): Good -
- Felizitas (10/5): Exceptional - Good accommodation and good location.
- Melody (9/5): Superb - Very nice and helpful staff, central location, nice dining area, very reasonable prices, fast laundry service, nice room One day the staff cleaned our room, and doing so they rearranged all our personal belongings!!! Very unpleasant experience. Also the area is noisy
- Abigail (5/5): Passable - Great location and it felt very safe. Staff were really friendly and helped us with organising an extra night and taxis when our plans had to change. Breakfast was disappointing, just bread, papaya and a very sweet cereal + tea/coffee. The bathrooms were clean but they smelt very bad. The bed was not comfortable at all and the rooms were clean but extremely dated and plug sockets didn’t work. Kitchen had good facilities but only one person can cook at a time.
- Rachel (7/5): Fine for a brief stay - I stayed for little more than 24 hours between flights and it did the job fine. I had a triple room to myself but wouldn’t have wanted to be sharing with others.
Toilet paper is commercial plastic box style which means there’s plenty.
Great location for tourist activities. Small thing - when I arrived I had a ask for a towel and also the toilet paper was nearly empty, so I asked for a replacement roll.
The sheet didn’t stay on the mattress well and the mattress was very stained.
Shower mat needed outside cubicle.
- Silva (7/5): They can improve, location is great - The room was not that clean and the shared bathrooms where horrible. It had amazing price and shared space was great. Breakfast was okay. Also wifi in the rooms is horrible. Sheets were old and had a lot of holes.
- Chamali (7/5): Good - Staff was friendly and helpful Very small rooms, very small toilet and very small shower room. No privacy at all. We could hear every sound in the toilet from our room which was upstairs haha. The room was completely transparent and there was a curtain slightly covering the glass, but everyone could see inside our room. Plus, there was a huge gap between the glass walls (maybe for ventilation purpose) which is why we could hear all the noises of the entire hostel. In our First night it was very noisy and we woke up several times in the midnight and early morning due to the noises.
- Jcalwill (8/5): Very good - Friendly, helpful staff; the bed was very comfortable; the wifi worked well in my room; good location close to many shops and restaurants and not too far from a cable car station however, be prepared to climb as the hostel is up a hill The toilet and the shower were in two separate rooms which were both very small, especially the room with the toilet; breakfast could have had a few more options (cereal, bun, butter/jam, banana, tea/coffee)
- Darcie (5/5): Passable - Good location, warm showers. The worst beds we have ever slept on in 5 months of travel. We even had 3 beds in our room and they were all awful, the mattresses were dipped in the middle, springs sticking out and they hurt our backs. The room was SO COLD, it was unbearable. We had to ask for extra blankets but that was only useful when in bed. You have to walk through a building site to get to the hostel, and if there are no builders working (i.e. on a Sunday) you have to wait outside the building and ring the bell for someone to let you in as the doors are locked. Breakfast was rubbish. If you’re unlucky and have really noisy other guests you will hear everything from your room because the walls are thin. We were originally planning to extend our stay for an extra day but we ended up leaving because we didn’t want to stay in the hostel anymore.
- Rossella (9/5): Good value for money - Central location, comfy bed, good breakfast, friendly staff The room has a double and 2 single beds, but not enough space where to put the luggage. It was fine for me since I was alone.
- Annina (9/5): Recommended! - Awesome staff, clean room, comfy bed, basic but yummy breakfast, good location easy to walk around town and I liked it being quiet at night. No issues really, great place would stay again
- Thomas (10/5): Super nice hostel with small kitchen. - Neat little kitchen, with the basics needed for cooking a simple meal. Great warm shower (if you have patience with finding the sweet spot of the handle). Super friendly and helpful staff (spanish only, translation apps do also work). Location is also good, in walking distance from the touristic center, close to a teleferico station too. Can get cold at night, it’s la paz after all.
- Peregrine (10/5): Super place! Nothing to fault, all to compliment -
- Haixia (8/5): Good - Clean and Can cook A small hostel with Little space
- Theo (8/5): Very good -
- Eliza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cecilia (10/5): Exceptional -
