• Nicholas (8/5): It was really good, we enjoyed…. Cottage was well kept, clean & maintained… if the main bedroom bed was bigger I wou - Very nice & well kept, location was great… Bed was too small for us….

• Margaret (8/5): Enjoyable despite a little penny pinching - Self catering. Central location A welcome pack showcasing local produce, and a few basic kitchen items. More than 1 roll of toilet paper

• Carol (5/5): Central, good price, but wouldn't stay here again - Very central to the main street for the goth festival. Pretty little cottage, very warm and liked that the front door opened up to a small courtyard garden. Didn't know when booking that the parking offer meant the use of two car parks on the other side of the river, nor that the alley to get into the courtyard to offload was so narrow it took a chunk out of our wing mirror, nor that there were six flights of steps up to the cottage, which even though clearly numbered, because the numbering of that area, was not easy to find in the dark. All 4 of us got backache because the beds had such hard mattresses on them - to the point where we all left early ad two of the party thought they might have to see a physio.

• Adrian (5/5): Nice location but owners need to be more active regarding the property standards - N/a The property is tired, needs a good clean and the facilities need an upgrade, for example, the bed is uncomfortable, noisy when you turn over which keeps the other person awake. Kitchen was very basic, lots of mugs which were dirty (when was the last time they were checked and cleaned)?! No cushions for the outside seating and also did not describe the fact that the garden is bisected. Also instructions on how to find the property was poor as was the parking details. Only found the permit once we had paid for parking. Also the property has been renamed to White Horse Cottage is that because the reviews for Seals Cottage aren’t positive. So when booking it says Seals Cottage, on arrival, it’s White Horse Cottage which doesn’t help when trying to locate the place!!!
