• Glynis (6/5): Friendly but basic - The hosts were lovely. One collected my case from the station on the morning of my stay to save me pulling it around all day which was really helpful. The room was nice and bigger than some. It had facilities for projecting phone content but no TV so my evenings were a bit empty having walked 3 moles each day I caught up on sleep instead. The carpets need cleaning and the house needs decorating because first impressions DO count.

• Erdem (9/5): Pleasant stay.. - Friendly owner with limited English but that’s fine. Room was good it had all the facilities within. Great location! I was allowed to use the washing machine. Thanks again! Looking for a pleasant stay this is the place for you.. It wasn’t a much of a problem but there should be a bed instead it was a sofa bed which wasn’t very comfy.

Close to train station - about 8 min walk. Quiet neighbourhood. It would be handy to have small fridge - esp in summer.

• Maryna (9/5): - Просторная комната. Соотношение цена-качество просто отличные. Не встретила ни одного из соседей или других жителей, хотя было слышно что в доме кто-то есть. Идеально для того, чтобы переночевать. Есть микроволновка, но нет холодильника Шторка в ванной была бы очень кстати.

The owner was very friendly and hospitable, thoughtfully warming up the room before my arrival. Totally recommend 😄🏆 …I would have liked to stay longer! The room even had a microwave and desk etc that u don’t always get in this type of accommodation

• Richard (10/5): A nice, clean, comfortable room in a quiet residential street. - A clean and comfortable room in the hosts house. The room was nicely decorated and smelled lovely. Good in room facilities for warming food and preparing refreshments, with tea and coffee provided. The property is in a quiet residential street, and I was able to park right in front, though I might just have been lucky that one time. There was no shower curtain, so it was not possible to have a proper stand up shower, but I was still able to make do in the bath using the shower head attached to the mixer taps.

• Elizabeth (8/5): I would definitely stay again if only to see the hosts again. - The family was SO nice, and very accomodating. I especially liked that they had a cat, as I miss my animals when I'm traveling. I know that it is not typical to have a/c in England, but it being very warm out I was a little uncomfortable in the heat. A fan in the room would improve that greatly!

• Judy (3/5): Not the best. - . Hallway carpet dirty. Old Cobwebs on ceiling in stairwell. Shower didn't work had to use basin to wash as the water pressure was very low. Skirting boards in bathroom dusty. No TV.
• Angie (4/5): Just the basics would be good. - The room was clean enough and I liked the purple accessories as that's my favourite colour. Although i knew id have to share a bathroom I was hoping there would at least be a walk-in shower, not a hose on the bath taps with no shower screen of any sort ! The bathroom needs to be up-dated. No mini fridge, it was suggested I put my milk in the family fridge in the kitchen downstairs. Not ideal. And no tv. Maybe I'm expecting too much for the price but I thought these were basic things.

• Maryellen (5/5): very clean easy access not for you if you don't cope with sofa beds - Very clean, easy to access keys and entryway, and perfect location for where I needed to be early the next day. Sofa bed was awful. I went back to look at the page and it says double bed. In the last line of the facilities description it says sofa bed (in the room vs the actual bed is not clear). Like sleeping in a lumpy sling. I will be more vigilant in the future to ensure not to book a room where the bed is a sofa. (not a mattress, a split sofa that opens). If it were a bed or even a sofa bed with a decent mattress it would have rated 8.

• Julie (8/5): Very good - It was very convenient for the station. Very quiet. Very clean. Nice hot water and heating. The only downside was the sofa bed is not very comfortable, sleeping directly on the false leather surface with just a sheet and its quite hard. It could do with a thicker layer, such as a mattress or mattress protector. The ladies curling tongs weren't useful, would benefit from a hairdryer instead. But for one night it was fine, l would definitely go back.

• Connie (10/5): I want to come back and stay again. - They were very helpful and answered all my questions. I forgot my toothbrush and instead of making me walk down the street to pick one up. They got one for me. My phone wasn't working so they called a taxi for me to take me to the cruise port. It's very close to the cruise port. Nice quiet residential neighborhood. They went above and beyond what was necessary to make my stay lovely. That I couldn't stay longer and see all the information at the museum on the Titanic.
