• PhyoZaw (9/5): The hotel, the space, location, and coastal views are absolutely worth it. - A Good Stay with a Nice View Room: I upgraded my room, which was well-lit and quite spacious. It provides more than enough space for a solo traveler, as it can accommodate up to three people. View: The balcony offers a nice, clear view of the Fira coast. Location: The property is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the Fira bus station. Navigation Tip: If you use Google Maps to find the hotel, you may end up taking small streets with stairs. It is much easier to follow the Fira main road and take a right. I found this alternate route on my last day, but it saves you from having to climb steps. Public transportation on the island is somewhat limited, so timing is everything. The local bus runs about once an hour, but service usually doesn't start until around 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM. Because my flight landed early at 5:00 AM, I faced a long wait at the airport for the first bus. The alternative was taking a taxi, which cost around €40 for a very short 10-minute drive to the accommodation in Fira. My Tip: If you want to save money and plan on taking the budget-friendly bus, try to book a flight that lands later in the morning or during the day to match the bus schedule. Otherwise, be prepared to wait or pay for an expensive taxi.

There are shutters to block out all light….so I don’t understand what some people are complaining about! The bed is not very comfortable, you can feel the springs. Be aware that the shower for this room doesn’t have a door / top head so you need to hold the nozzle and be very careful to not get the whole washroom wet!

• Alice (9/5): - We spent two nights at Lefteris and we loved it! Very close to Fira centre but in a calm spot. 12-15 min walk from the main bus station. The owner was very helpful, communication was smooth. The room was clean, air conditioning and fridge were working perfectly, the bed was comfortable. We could also see beautiful sunrises from our balcony, would definitely recommend Lefteris to a friend!

The staff were incredibly friendly and the place was the perfect size. Bathroom and bedroom was very tidy, and the balcony had a great view! Wifi was a bit hit and miss but was not a problem for me!

• Federica (8/5): - È una bella stanza ampia, la vista è spettacolare. La posizione è centrale ma silenziosa (considerate però che alle 8 suonano le campane). Lo staff molto cortese. Non è molto costosa considerando che si trova a Fira. Almeno nella nostra stanza, non c'era modo di non far entrare luce al mattino: la porta aveva una vetrata quindi alle prime luci la stanza era completamente illuminata. In bagno mancavano modi per appendere gli asciugamani, c'era solo un piccolo gancio dentro la doccia ma non era il massimo... Anche sul balcone mancavano le mollette per appendere i vestiti bagnati (una sola molletta è abbastanza inutile, pur volendo fare asciugare un costume da bagno).

Rooms are clean and spacious, location is excellent,5 minutes away from the centre and the staff was very kind and helpful. They also offered us a place to store our luggage until our flight. If you want to be picky, you could say that access to the hotel is a little difficult while carrying luggage and instruments and parking late at night is very difficult to find.

• Stephan Licariao Rocha (10/5): - Great stay in this very special place (I guess our appartment was a previous monks cell as it is close to a church building. Only a few minutes of the caldera with local shops around and only 10 mins walk to the Fira central bus station, it is very well located. There is a nice courtyard and also a terrace to sit outside. The stay here is very recommended, cool and very quiet. Perfect!

Contactei o alojamento no sentido de me devolverem o meu dinheiro, mas eles sempre ignoraram os meus emails ! nunca me responderam e nunca me devolveram o dinheiro que me roubaram ! inclusivamente disseram ao Booking que não me tinham cobrado a estadia em duplicado !! Gracas a Deus que o Booking teve a amabilidade de me reembolsar do dinheiro que o alojamento me roubou ! otimo serviço ao cliente por parte do Booking. Tenham muito cuidado quando pagarem com o vosso cartão de credito/debito neste alojamento . SCAM! I was robbed by the accommodation. I didn't like it · I was robbed by the accommodation because they charged me for my stay twice! Days later, when I got home, I checked my bank statement and that’s when I realized I had been scammed. I contacted the accommodation to ask for my money back, but they always ignored my emails! They never responded and never returned the money they stole from me! They even told Booking that they hadn’t charged me for my stay twice!! Thank God that Booking was kind enough to refund me the money that the accommodation took from me! Excellent customer service by Booking. Be very careful when paying with your credit/debit card in this accommodation.
