• Ferrera (5/5): - La ubicación. Nos preguntaron sobre que hora ibamos a llegar.llegabamos entre 2 y 3 de la tarde y al llegar nos dijeron que hasta unas 2 horas mas tarde no estaria limpio. Pedimos si nos podian dejar unas sabanas para el sofa cama ya que el apartamento tenia una cama grande y un sofa cama y viajabamos 2 personas que no somos pareja y nos dijeron que si utilizabamos el sofa como cama al ser solo 2 personas tendriamos un suplemento de 50 eur por persona y dia. El apartamento es bonito pero hay una ranura de ventilación que hace que se escuche el ruido de la calle bastante .

La escalera es muy dificultosa para subir 3 pisos largos con las maletas. 57 escalones. No es para gente mayor o con maletas pesadas. Deberian especificarlo bien en la publicación.

• David (8/5): Je voelt je als een local in deze studio - Uitstekende ligging als uitvalsbasis om het centrum van Firenze te bezoeken. Stijl, inrichting en de charme van de studio. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Praktisch alles voorzien voor een verblijf van een week. Wij verbleven een week met de paasvakantie en het kon kil zijn in de studio. Er is verwarming maar door de wetgeving van Firenze konden wij de thermostaat niet aanpassen. Die staat blijkbaar standaard op 20°C. Het geluid van de straat hoor je heel goed in de studio. Het is een levendige straat tot rond 23:00.

• Kim (9/5): This was my first trip to Florence and I loved everything about my stay ! - The moment we were welcomed by the owner and the care he took to ensure we were comfortable and happy with the apartment was a wonderful way to start our trip. Due to its location it can have a little night neighbourhood noise, however this is to be expected when you are in this type of position in a busy city.
• Lynn and Paul (9/5): Definitely would recommend for one person or a couple! Couldn't ask for a better location - Excellent location and the studio has a ton of character! Paolo and Barbara communicated well and were helpful and accomodating The bathroom is very small - if you are a very big or tall person this may be a challenge. It would be nice to have a little sofa or a couple of comfortable chairs to sit on. Minor complaints - I would still highly recommend and we would stay there again

• Sebastian (10/5): A stunning apartment in a perfect location - The apartment is absolutely beautiful and located in what must be one of the best spots in all of Firenze, right in the heart of Oltrarno, yet authentic. Paolo/Barbara was an incredible host who gave us fantastic local tips right at the start. A huge plus was their flexibility: he let us stay a bit longer on our last day, which was extremely helpful for our travel plans. High-quality interior and a truly welcoming atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for more! Nothing, everything was perfect.

• Joachim (9/5): Florenz - Einzigartige Lage ! Eisverkäufer zum Eingang der Brücke direkt neben dem Supermarkt meiden, verkauft jedes Eis zu 10€, auch wenn man nur 1 einzige Kugel bestellt. Man bekommt einen unlesbaren Zettel, anschließend wird man zu einer Kasse im Innenraum gebeten - sonst würde es nicht funktionieren. Touristen kommen frustriert aus dem Laden.

• Maike (9/5): Ubicación perfecta - El dueño es muy majo y la comunicación era muy rápida en todo momento. La ubicación es inmejorable para recorrer la ciudad a pie. El baño es un poco estrecho.
• Anna (7/5): Great location - but service/facilities can be improved. - Quite mixed feelings about the stay. Arrival was smooth, owners’s daughter met us with the keys. No issues there. Location is great! Walking distance to all major sights. We had one issue in the apartment - it was fixed quickly. We got one full set of towels per person (face/hands/shower). Towels were super thin (those which get immediately soaked once you use them once). We stayed 6 nights - not once were they changed. Same refers to trash - not once was it cleaned. Generally, while we stayed, we didnt notice any cleaning (though booking’s breakdown said daily cleaning charge was included, i think it was 8-9 eur/day). We had one issue with a shower the - it was fixed the same day. However we noticed that instead of drying the floor, foot towel was just left in the puddle from the shower tube incident. To flush the toilet, you sometimes had to push flush button 3-4 times -as otherwise flushing won’t start. Furniture was all very dusty. We couldnt put anything on night stands as you could see a layer of dust on it. And i wasnt planning on cleaning dust on my vacation upon checking in to an apartment. Also, After reading the description, we had a feeling that that homestay has also some shared area (maybe we misread).

• Deborah (10/5): Fabulous location with a great host - From the time we booked Appartamento Ponte Vecchio communication has been effortless, right up to our arrival. We met Paolo at the door to his apartment and he explained everything that we needed to know about the apartment and the area. Straight away you could see how clean the apartment was and it had everything we needed and more. You could cook if you wanted to, I didn’t, get your washing done, and at night the room was dark and quiet. The location was fantastic for our 3.5 days in Florence; the train station, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Academia, Uffizi Gallery,pasta making class, Duomo and restaurants and bars (some photos of the local sights we enjoyed). We loved our time in Florence, our favourite part of our Italian holiday, and would stay here again if we return. Thank you Paolo.🫶 There was nothing we didn’t like.

• Casey (8/5): Prime location for exploring Florence. - Location was fantastic. Easy walk to and from train station, as well as the Ponte Vecchio and all the highlights, shopping & food right on your doorstep. Room was cosy, comfortable and reasonably clean. We were in the smaller studio, so had access to a small stove top and washing machine, with clothes hangers for drying. Hosts went above and beyond, communication, accomodating us and meeting us at the door to let us in when we arrived. A fantastic base for exploring Florence. Would stay again, although see below re:space, cooking etc. Bathroom a little tight, kitchen a little disjointed/mismatched, making cooking a little challenging. Would opt for the bigger loft apartment if you want more space.

• Lydia (3/5): No me devolvió mis cosas olvidadas - Por lo general estaba bien, pero faltaron muchas cosas importantes y no me devolvió dos cosas que olvidé en su apartamento. También tuvo el detalle de dejarnos una botella de vino en la nevera como recibimiento, cosa que nos gustó mucho, pero su comportamiento después lo estropeó. Las escaleras para subir con insufribles, está en un 4 piso con unas escaleras muy estrechas y oscuras… hay que tener cuidado. No hay luz que ilumine el último tramo de escaleras y te puedes caer. Faltan muchas cosas importantes al ser un apartamento que mínimo que tuviera azúcar, sal o aceite…tampoco funciona la calefacción, solo tiene un radiador pequeño que no es suficiente para calentar toda la casa. Me dejé olvidados dos objetos personales y cuando le escribí para recuperarlos me ignoró, vio los mensajes y no le importó devolvérmelo, no tenía que enviármelo, yo iba a ir a por ello a los dos días que volvía a Florencia. Tengan cuidado con dejarse las cosas ahí.

• 쉬고싶다 (10/5): - 너무나도 완벽한 위치입니다. 역에서 버스를 타면 접근하기 매우 좋으며, 주요 관광지에 모두 도보로 갈 수 있습니다. 근처에는 아주 맛있는 식당과, 큰 마트가 있어서 과일과 필요한 물품을 구입하기에도 좋습니다. 호스트는 매우 친절했으며, 숙소를 찾고 열쇠를 받는 과정도 매우 즐거웠습니다. 친구들과 함께한다면 완벽할 숙소입니다. 다시한번 피렌체에 간다면 이 숙소에 갈 것입니다. - 빨래를 할 계획이라면 빨래줄을 챙겨가면 좋을 것 같아요. 모기가 좀 있어요... 모기약을 보충해주면 좋을 것 같아요. 세탁기에는 곰팡이가 좀 있습니다. 사용하고 문을 열어두면 좋을 것 같아요~

• Jera-Ann (7/5): Near Ponte Vecchio. - Location is near the old bridge, ca. 20mins walk to the train station. The place is clean, with complete amenities. The owner seems nice, had a good communication through whatsapp. Easy check in instructions. Aircon is too loud and really weak. It was still hot days and nights. Bed upstairs is old and really uncomfortable. There is no elevator as mentioned. The stairs are narrow going up third floor.

Seguimos las instrucciones para entrar en la puerta principal del primer piso y nadie nos abrió. no teníamos internet en el celular y tuvimos que ir a otro lugar a pedir wifi para contactar al anfitriona, finalmente la puerta se abrió Son 6 escaleras largas que hay que subir para llegar al departamento y conmigo andaban dos personas adultas que dificultaban mucho subir las escaleras. Sugiero que en la descripción del departamento se mencione que hay 6 escaleras largas que subir, porque las personas adultas no siempre están en buenas condiciones físicas.

• Sherry (9/5): Superb - Adorable, home-like feeling with much more character than a hotel. I did not cook, but having the full refrigerator and kitchen available was nice. The big table was great for helping me get organized/packed on my last night in Italy. Close access to Ponte Vecchio/Uffizzi etc. You need to be prepared to walk with your luggage and carry it up/down stairs. You may not be able to get a taxi. This is NOT a negative against the apartment or host. In fact, Barbara was on the phone with the taxi company at 5 am trying to help me get a taxi after the one she reserved for me the day before canceled at the last minute. I ended up walking with my luggage the 18 minutes to the Tram line to go to the airport. Just plan your time accordingly, pack light and portable, and know your limitations. It's not difficult; it's just not what you are used to if you usually use taxi/Uber to take you door to door.

The room is large and convenient for both short and long stay. There are many good restaurants, wine bar, gelateria nearby. If we have an opportunity to go back to Florence, we will definitely stay there again. There are a lot of stairs to reach the room. Not suitable for old ages people and disabilities.

Close to the Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, in the Otrarno area in a neighbourhood that we really enjoy best as it is close but just outside the busy touristic hotspots. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Nice restaurants, cafes etc. all very close by. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and easy and quick in communication. Highly recommended. • Yuen (9/5): Superb - Good location surrounded by restaurants and a famous Gelato place. Its 20min walk from main city area - we like that cos is quiet and peaceful. We sleep well at night. There's a washing machine that we can do laundry and a kitchen we can prepare meals. Big and spacious with charming rustic feel. It's like home away from home. Very lovely and friendly hosts - Barbara & husband. They helped us book a taxi to Train station on our check out day.
