Guest Reviews
- Cathy (10/5): Beautiful and quaint property with everything you could need. - A beautiful, quaint property with plenty of space. Private parking for 3 cars. Lovely private garden.
Games and videos for all the family.
A thoughtful welcome pack was a lovely gesture.
We visited family in Whittlesey, so knew the area, but the cottage is in a paticularly nice, quiet part of the town. Nothing. This was the idea property and we will stay again
- Andrew (8/5): Very good accommodation will be back in September I hope -

- Sasha (10/5): - The outdoor space was wonderful, beautiful garden. The home was well appointed and nice to be in. A great home base for our trip!

- GIANLUCA (10/5): Consigliatissimo per lavoro o svago. Davvero bravi. - Tutto pulito e pronto
- Maggie (10/5): A little quiet gem close to Peterborough. - We thought the cottage was very well equipped and spacious, with good lighting for reading. It was also lovely and warm. There were very thoughtful touches, such as a bottle of wine and chocolates to welcome us. Parking was so convenient and the garden was very attractive. Nothing at all.
- Anita (10/5): - A real home from home. I loved that there were books, games and DVD's. Lots of lamps made the cottage so cosy. Everything you could want in the kitchen. There was nothing I didn't like!

- john (10/5): Beautiful cottage everything we needed 2 very nice bottles of wine and chocolates was left for us . - Double bed was not so comfortable
- Dina Tunley (10/5): Perfect little home from home. - Field cottage is the perfect little home away from home. My family and I loved our short stay here. The location was great for us visiting our family who live in Whittlesey and it is close enough to go out for a nice stroll around the fields and into the town. The cottage had everything we could need inside to accommodate all of our needs.
- Peter (10/5): A lovely cottage in the middle of the Fens - great for a peaceful escape. - Very clean and accessible with a lovely garden and easy parking Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): A gorgeous cottage! - Where do I start, this is a little hidden gem! Tucked away off the main road but still within civilisation made us feel safe and secure. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The fans were much appreciated in such hot weather. I feel like the hosts had thought of everything and being away from home with two children was made easy, it was well equipped and we didn't have to worry about anything. It's all on one floor which was great for our 1 and 3 year old as we didn't have to worry about steps and stair gates, the garden was also secure so they could run around and play, which they loved. So pleased with our stay and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you so much!

- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Central location close to shops etc, but tucked away in a quiet corner. Lovely little traditional cottage equiped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Milk in the fridge, tea, coffe and wine and chocs a welcome bonus. Thank you Nothing. It was perfect for our stay

- Joy (10/5): This wonderful cottage was our home away from home! - The cottage was well stocked, clean and had everything we needed. The garden with seating was a bonus on a sunny day. Off road parking and a washer/dryer were also appreciated.
- Sirtophamhat (6/5): Good value for money. - The cottage was clean and had everything you would need. Nice gift of wine and mints. We arrived after dark and it would have been useful if there was an auto light for the path to the house as it is quite uneven. It also made getting the key out of the box a palaver.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eamonn (9/5): Home from home - Home from home Nothing

- Elizabeth (8/5): Excellent property well located, spotless and well appointed and easy to feel quickly at home. - Location. Smart and comfortable. Spotless. Very Well appointed. Generous supplies. Welcoming touches. Prompt responses from owners. Lovely garden. Cosy. Quiet. Mattresses could be a little more padded for our liking. That wouldn’t prevent me from rebooking but I’d probably bring a mattress topper. Bathroom a bit of a walk at night but that’s the layout of the house - again not a deal breaker.
- Jean (8/5): Super cute, clean and convenient with lots of character! 💕 - Such a pretty little cottage, tucked away off a quiet road, just outside town.
The cottage itself was really cute and exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a family catch up. 💕
- Anna (9/5): Highly recommended - Beautiful cottage and gardens. Really quiet. Whittlesey is an interesting little town with plenty of shops, pubs and cafes. We particularly enjoyed the food and service at The Straw Bear, very reasonable too. It's only a short drive out from Whittlesey to explore the fens. We also went to Ely for the day which took about half an hour and was a nice drive. We would definitely stay again if returning to the area. Nothing.

- Peter (10/5): We stayed there to meet with friends and had a wonderful time - Very cosy well maintained old cottage with a lot of space for four, stylish old furniture, nice garden, well equipped kitchen On the opposite side of the village from the railroad station, about 30min walk with luggage.
- Liezel (10/5): Lovely and comfortable stay in Field Cottage - We liked everything about 'Field Cottage'. It was spacious enough for the four of us, there was off street parking, a very nice garden with seating, a well equipped kitchen, a lovely big dining table for meals and games and a washing machine, which was really handy as we needed to wash a bundle before our onward journey. Graham and Helen communicated effectively and responded promptly to all questions we had. A visit to Whittlesey museum is highly recommended. We liked everything!
