Diane (7/5): Peaceful if a little out of the way. - Very well equipped and good parking. Was great to have the use of a washing machine as we had been travelling for a few weeks. The location was peaceful. A little far out of Ambleside which meant using the car and parking fees. The place is looking a little tired and is fairly cluttered with stuff. Having the bathroom with the toilet in next to the kitchen is not ideal.
Joan (9/5): Superb - Everything that you could need and more was there. Bed was comfortable. Nice bed linen and towels. The heating had been left on for us so it was warm when we arrived, thank you. Even dog bowls. please could you consider larger dinner plates and some nicer cutlery.

Sanders (10/5): Exceptional stay at The Courtyard - Everything was fantastic. The extra touches like a bottle of prosecco were great. (Although not prosecco drinkers, we still found it a lovely touch). The parking disc came in handy, although we didn't find that until a couple of days in. The bed was rather creaky each time either of us moved in the bed. Drying our soaking wet clothes proved difficult as the apartment was on the colder side.
