- Idris (10/5): Good accomodation and great service - Good location and great service Nothing
- Natalia (10/5): -
- Griffith (8/5): -
- Allison (9/5): - The owner Hasan was very nice, rang me before we arrived and offered to pick us up from the train station which we accepted, offered us a free drink when we arrived and when we left, he was very friendly, the room was comfortable we all slept well, the hotel is in the middle of a refurb, the location was good, we had a pleasant stay there A hairdryer was provided in the room but could have done with a mirror on the wall, tea and coffee was provided in the room but there was no spoon to stir
- Lady Dee (3/5): Welcoming guests, compliments drinks, price is cheap - The host was very sociable and very welcoming. Cheap price. It needed a right good clean. Host confirmed had had some trouble were previous guests had trashed some of the rooms so had made some repairs but shower was still full of the repair pits. Had to clean the shower before getting in it and the room needed a right good clean. There was a scrubbing pad that looked full of pain on the floor in the bedroom. Went to pick it up and it was full of cobwebs
- Sara (9/5): Great room - Clean and tidy. Friendly host, happy to help. Easy to contact host. Room had extras like shower gel n shampoo, coffee milk n tea Kids thought mattress were hard (but that's kids)
- Claire (10/5): Brilliant weekend for me and my husband , hotel owner really lovely man - Was close to seafront
- Hannah (10/5): It was perfect - The guy running the show is absolutely amazing NA
- Chris (10/5): -
- SteveO1974 (9/5): Good location and friendly budget accommodation - Value for money. Owner was friendly and helpful. Renovation and updating are underway and needed. Buy the price and welcome compensated for this
- Ian (10/5): Super stay and a great š weekend - The host could not do enough for me picked me up from the train station a can of beer on arrival and at end of holiday took me back to train station Itās a pity they didnāt do breakfast ?
- Hepple (7/5): -
- Gail (2/5): Horrible didnt sleep as there was something in the room ie mouse - The person who ran the hotel was the only thing I like about it Itās was really run down .. there was bits of tools and other stuff lying about all over the hotel .. there was bits room smelled of damp and the windows were filthy .. the person who was there was really nice and helpful just a shame about is hotel needs a lot of cleaning and up grading the front door handle fell off in my hand.. the room door didnt lock
- MOSSY Holiday (10/5): Host is very friendly.... - The host was great and couldn't do enough, there wass alot of modernisation going on at the venue, which for any business is hard to do through peak season but needed , but it's located not far from the sea front and let's be honest your only using it for a bed and shower.... But let me Just say again the host hassan couldn't be more helpful and friendly šš» Probably at night walking home with kids the area is a bit ropey just be careful, parking along the street is only an hour so just be careful...
- Debbie (1/5): Nope nope nope - The owner was great, despite the accommodation not meeting our needs The accommodation was filthy as soon as we entered the front door. Dust everywhere, carpets extremely soiled. Just not a nice place to enter. When we were shown to our room it smelt of a strong chemical... Turns out visitors before us had destroyed the bathroom and it was repaired hence the smell. But the room was well below par, I definitely didn't wish to stay there, never mind my little boy who was with me. Honestly avoid this place. Don't get me wrong the owner was nice, and accepted what we had to say
- Barrie (10/5): Exceptional - Manager was amazing and very accommodating on arrival offered us drinks and showed me and my friends our rooms, on departure he offered to make us all coffees he was very very friendly and I would highly recommend this property I made the manager away that my bed was very hard and uncomfortable, it's not a complaint just an observation
- Sigourney (8/5): Very good - The owner was lovely, he gave us a free drink on arrival, and because we were there for my daughters birthday he bought her a little present before we left which was very kind Everything was fine but the room could probably do with a fan, it was a 30° heatwave when we were there, very sweaty night š„µ
- Danny (4/5): Great location and the chap who ran it was pleasant however the room wasnāt very clean at all. Mouldy maltesers under th - Shower was knackered. Everything Just felt dirty.
- Adele (8/5): Good. Clean. Tidy. Nice staff - Nice staff. Very friendly and helpful.
- Chantelle (10/5): Exceptional - The owner of the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. When we landed he asked our plans and offered to drop us and then dropped us off when we was ready to go. The room was clean and tidy with a wardrobe and drawers to out our clothes away properly with a good sized bathroom too. The following morning when we was leaving at the end of our stay he offered to make us a coffee for our travel which I thought was nice. There wasn't anything we didn't like to be fair.
- Sjh1973 (1/5): Needs cleaning - The owner was lovely and very friendly The whole place needed a good clean. Found bugs in the bedding. Asked to be moved to another room, but they changed the sheets
- Nicky (10/5): Exceptional - Good and friendly host and within walking distance to most attractions. We would stay here again.
- Maxine (8/5): Cheap and cheerful if you want 5* pay for 5* š - Very welcoming good location. On street parking.
Work in progress to update rooms but good for a few nights.
Host was very attentive and friendly he couldnāt do enough for us we would definitely stay again.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Perfect night stay with an amazing host - The host was absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and warm. The hotel is a beautiful building and will be amazing once fully completed. The pool table was a saving grace for the kids and the cups of tea made it even better. Location is fantastic, a short stroll to the front of Blackpool but far enough back to not hear noise. Rooms are big and warm. Not that we didn't like the beds, we are just used to king size but they were very comfortable. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like
- Bullock (10/5): Hassan the owner went above & beyond to make my stay in Blackpool excellent. - Excellent location, Hassan the owner was a diamond he pulled out all the stops we had a few games of pool he called me before I got there, & he a uber driver so he kindly gave me a lift & picked me up also which was above & beyind really genuine gentleman location is great not to far from the central pier & tower room had everything I needed & comfy bed & clean. Hassan made my stay a memorable one top host. Nothing not to like
- Nicola (10/5): Very helpful clean & tidy - Good service, very helpful even dropped us off to where we needed to go & offered to pick us up too
- Lourda (2/5): Awful - Nothing. It was an old, smelly building. Filthy and we likened it To faulty towers Used sugar and milk on bedside unit. Stretched extension lead for TV, hairdryer and kettle. Bathroom was tiny. The whole building just needed hoovering and cleaning. It smelled damp and moldy. Massive cobwebs on the landing.
- Amanda (7/5): Good -
- John (9/5): Very good, well treated/greeted -
- Byrne (10/5): Exceptional - Hasan couldn't do enough for us even dropped us at the venue very chatty makes a good coffee bed very comfortable
- Carole (6/5): Room - The host was very nice and friendly The paper was coming away from the walls in our bedroom the lamp would not reach a plug to switch on the bed was ace the on siute need updating but we only paid 47.00 for one night we coped he says he is doing it up would I go again no
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great stay at Lylalan, room was clean and comfortable, staff was so helpful even offering to taxi us to and from our place we were going out to.will definitely stay again
- Gary (10/5): Work in progress but with such lovely staff Iāll definitely be returning . - Like a home from home. Hassan is such a lovely owner.
Canāt do enough for you
Kids loved the pool table Bedrooms need a bit of an upgrade but after speaking to the owner he is doing the whole hotel up
- Gary (1/5): Awful place avoid if at all possible - Nothing really very poor standard of hotel avoid The place is filthy. Would not give refund when I said couldn't stay in these conditions. Hassan presents as welcoming but is in fact false as knows his hotel is poor and is compensating. Would avoid this place at all costs.
- Leslie (9/5): Value for money glad we went - Very good well situated short walk to the beach will go again Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - very friendly clean looks after you very helpful to well worth a stay
- Julie (10/5): Enjoyed my stay at the hotel - Lovely warm welcoming owner. Bed comfortable ā
- Denis (1/5): Bad - No think The staff was drunk. Not clean no good service
- Orr (7/5): For one night, very good - I thought the guest house owner was exceptional. He offered us a free drink on arrival, I understand he offered to pick guests up from the train station, which didn't apply to us, and on the whole very friendly. The hotel needs work on it as it was only opened in September but other than that it was good. Needed work on the property.
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (6/5): Pleasant - The host was lovely and really welcoming , couldnāt do enough for you, the bed was comfy The hotel itself was really cold especially our room, the floor was damp
- Viktor (9/5): Superb -
- Hewitt (8/5): My stay in Blackpool - Comfy bed grate welcome everything explained grate location not far from the beach and tower Noisy couple next room shouting at the kid at 7am and the walls are so thin you could hear one of them snoring
- Isobel (10/5): Exceptional - Location was brilliant staff were absolutely brilliant went out the way to make our stay as stressful and comfortable as possible even rang us when we were on our way to see if we needed picking up from train station or if we were driving down asked for breakfast at last minute to be cooked for my partner this was no problem at Al drink on arrival would I stay again deffo yes
- Steven (10/5): Highly recommend this place for a stay - The owner of the hotel was very welcoming gave us a free complimentary drink upon arrival.
He then showed us to our room which was very clean. There was nothing to dislike
- Kimberley (6/5): Okay stay - Hassan the Manager is very welcome and friendly he spent time speaking to us and was given a drink on the house when we arrived. The room was clean with fresh bedding and towels, tea and coffee facilities, new fitted carpet which is nice and cosy on the feet, free parking on the street in which we had no issues getting. Please contact the hotel if you are getting thier early as the manager goes out sometimes and then is locked up. Hot shower. This is a new owner who is trying his best to make people to feel comfortable and give people a good stay with the budget he has like most hotels in the blackpool this is a very basic budget stay overall am okay stay I have definitely slept in worse places. Thank you for the stay We were in bedroom 10 this is a small double and single bed room which wasn't big including the on suite.
I would say with 2 ladies being in the room thier was no mirror in the bedroom area and I'm very small and couldn't see the small mirror in bathroom so an added mirror would be great, shower is amazing and hot but does go cold after 3rd person but this is due to the boiler which the manager had advised.
The curtains can be doing with more hooks so they don't let the light in and close properly
The headboard on the double bed bangs against the wall woth the slightest movement would probably just take it away or attach the head board to the wall rather than the bed itself.
Extra pillows put into the room like a firm type so you have a choice I like a good firm pillow so my kneck doesn't hurt i would have went and spoke to hassan but at 3am in the morning i didnt want to bother him and find or wake him as we were already drunken, tired and got into bed. The above is just some advice to help Hassan out. Definitely a bigger room would have been better for us.
- Craig (1/5): Shocking hotel - Nothing at all it was a toilet Appalling customer service, disgusting room, sheer lack of organisation only stay here if you donāt fancy the beach or a bench
- Tomlinson (7/5): Good - The owner of the b&b was very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Lovely gent and made our stay more special
- Terry (7/5): Really enjoyed it. - Me and my mate stayed for one night. Room was very clean. Room wasn't big but for the money it was worth it. The Owner was a very very nice man. Who seemed like if you wanted help with anything he'd help you. Was getting ready to go out. And asked the owner to call us a taxi to take us somewhere. And he said its OK I'll take you. Free of charge as well. Really nice guy. Thought the shower needs updating abit. And the room was abit small. But very clean and the bed was amazing to sleep in. Very comfortable bed.
- Kirsty (10/5): Fantastic value for money - The owner was very helpful, giving us a lift from the train station. Making us food when we got back to the hotel at 1am. Perfect location walking distance to everything. Great value for money. Hot water, clean bedding & towels. Complimentary drinks on arrival. Felt very safe with the owner, what a lovely man.
- Andrew (1/5): Very upsetting and made my wife feel ill - The location was great Very dreary, musky damp place with very uncomfortable bed and the view from the window of old dirty scruffy backyards
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - He made is so homely and so welcoming I will definitely be staying again, he was amazing with the kids and made it very accommodating
- Wayne (10/5): perfect place great location - Great place to stay hassan was a great host he welcomed us with a drink and couldn't do enough for us nothing was too much for him room was perfect bed was comfy and clean even free parking would recommend this place 2 min walk to front nothing everything was ideal
- Emma (5/5): Passable -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samkeliso (5/5): Although we had a great welcome, our room was clean, i feel staff should have checked on us and assured us after the inc - The location is great as it is only a few minutes walk to the beach.
A member of staff who welcomed us was very pleasant, he offered us drinks and played pool with my son. He was great with him, teaching him how to play pool which my son enjoyed.
The member of staff offered us another bedroom to make sure we were not all overcrowded in the small room.
The bedroom were clean and there was clean bedding. The living room that we went into when we first arrived was very dusty, this triggered my allergies.
The mattress that I had was very hard, at one point I slept on the floor due to the bed not comfortable.
We had booked 3 nights however, we left after the second night as my children were scared by the incident that happened the night before. Here is what happened, around midnight there was shouting inside and outside the hotel, banging of doors and walking up and down the stairs. Me and my kids we were terrified, we went sure whether the person was going to try opening our door or not. Around 2am, 5 police officers knocked on our door looking for someone. Although I accept that may have been beyond the staff and not sure if was a member of staff or not. Me and my family would have appreciated someone coming to assure us or at least some form of communication from the staff.
Interestingly, in the morning when we handed our keys, it seemed like they had expected it. They took the keys no apologies or anything, this made me feel like the staff did not care about the safety of their guests. Despite the member of staff knowing we were leaving early, they did not offer to pay for our last night.
- Smith1855 (1/5): Bad - The bedding on the bed wasn't clear it had crumbs on from The night before. No hot water in the room we stayed in. The smell off damp . Got lied to about the parking . Loads of shouting from the friend of the landlord . We had kids with use it didn't feel clear or safe to be there with our kids so we didn't stay the night .
- Keith (1/5): Bad - We wasnāt given a room we paid for booking.com messed our booking up
- Jayne (7/5): the owner was a great guy gave us all a free drink and there was 10 of us - location was a short walk into town there was a remote but no telly and toilet took 15 mins to fill up
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Jasmine (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (1/5): Disgustingly dirty - Nothing - it was disgustingly dirty ! Absolutely dirty - not even hoovered the carpet/ floors, dirty cups & saucers, no towels, even though listed as part of room facilities. Make up stains on the pillow cases, dirty sink taps & toilet seat falling off. No tv, no coffee or milk, even though I asked for some - Iām disgusted that this hotel is allowed to be advertised on Booking.com , I feel I was robbed of the Ā£95 that I was charged !
- Michael (1/5): Staff polite at hotel but dont trust booking.com selling method - No tv in room, no tea tray, 2 cups dirty full of somebodys lipstick, sheets werent very clean, omg when i went to strip bed on day of leaving no matress protecter and the dirtiest matress i have ever seen, had i of looked first would not have stayed, wardrobe fallen to bits literally, booking.com you need to review how you sell this hotel, you advertise free breakfast, free parking not true you advertise bathrobe, slippers, desk in every room ,not in our room, please people pay for what you booking.com write as a description of what you are paying for ,why decieve your customers this is advertised as 3 star by you
- Shaw (7/5): Good - Good location. Was outdated but has just been taken over so hopefully will update the decor etc.
Also Was told that there was no curfew but when we arrived bk the door was locked and took 15 mins to get attention, wouldnāt of been safe if I was a lone traveler. Luckily it wasnāt raining.
- Philip (1/5): Night away for anniversary - The third room we were given was ok very small.the first 2 rooms were not clean
No continental breakfast
The third room had a kettle but no lead for it
The man adam was very good couldnt fault him... he did find us a clean room in the end
- Howe (10/5): Great stay, had fun in the BnB and Adam looked after kids and sorted them out whatever they wanted - Great staff, Adam is a star friendly and helpful, anything you need he gets, he's great with the kids, good value for money would stay again and recommend others to stay.
- Amelia (4/5): Meh - Location was ok - about half an hour walk to the sea front give or take. Guy who greeted us upon arrival was helpful and tried his best to sort out the mixup. Booked 2 double en suite rooms. When we arrived they said that they had been told we had only booked one double room - had to show the confirmation to prove Iād booked 2 rooms.
First suggestion was to share a bedroom. Second option was offered a room usually occupied by the owner of the hotel which was in a right state (with no en suite) which we were assured would be tidied up before it was used which we declined. Finally we managed to get 2 double en suite rooms after they had switched around some rooms of guests who had not arrived yet - no idea what happened to the people who arrived after usā¦
1 room was fine. Basic but fine for the price. Second room had no hot water in the shower and the TV didnāt work.
Parking was available outside the hotel - though thereās an hour limit - we were told weād be fine to park there for a fiver. Thereās a secure car park further down the road.
- Stanley (3/5): Poor -
- Chloe (6/5): It is good for one night only but over all it was good - Breakfast The showers were hard too adjust
- Marris (5/5): Stay is ok - Location No parking - it was advertised as there is parking.
No wifi
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff especially (Adam) Great location close to the sea front. affordable price Wonāt even be looking at other hotels when I return I will definitely be staying here.
thanks
- Loretta (8/5): Very good - The staff was very welcoming at the property, I needed milk for the little one and the staff member didnāt hesitate and walked to the shop at midnight to get me a bottle of milk The property is a little dated, but was clean
- Sarah (1/5): I arrived back after a night out to find a stranger asleep in my bed!!! Management did nothing - NOTHING EVERYTHING
- Jeanette (5/5): Wouldent go again - Comfy beds Outside Door was left open all the time , a girl sed she returned back and a stranger in her bed , Someone tried our door in night , no fire regs put on door etc strange place
- Katie (3/5): Not happy customers. - We liked the location No one was there to greet us on arrival. The beds were very uncomfortable. Didn't like that the main door was left open all day and night, we didn't feel safe having our children there. My children went down to play a game of pool and someone was asleep in the lounge. There was no mention of the option of booking breakfast. We will not be staying again and very disappointed!!!
- Mary (1/5): Absolutely disgusting - Nothing Open the the main front door to the smell of mould & damp.the room was dirty with sharp bits on the walls, bathroom dirty, the bedding had been changed but by the time we went to go to bed the bedding felt damp, the shower pipe to shower head was filthy & has temperature problems, too small for adult as couldn't adjust the hight & was outdated. The cups were filthy, basically dirt & stains everywhere, carpets were threadbare, the mattresses were so bad we could feel the springs even through the duvet. When we went to hand key in there was a man asleep on the sofa by the pool table, overall we had no sleep, felt dirty, we left a lot earlier than planned so we could get home for a shower and to wash everything we took with us as the smell had clung to our clothes so instead of another day in Blackpool before going home we just came straight home, we even missed the Blackpool Air show as we felt so dirty,
We DO NOT recommend this hotel especially for families with children.
- Harris (1/5): Bad - Tried to contact hotel by telephone and email before arrival. no answer.
Got to hotel. Nobody there. Door wide open. Nothing like the property advertised on website.
Found a neighbour who rang someone who said they would be at the property in 15 mins. We waited 1 hour. Nobody came. 3x families with young children left sat outside.
Not a very good experience. Still awaiting refund.
- Lindsey (1/5): Avoid at all costs - We turned up at the lynalan to be met with door wide open walked in to a what I can only describe as a squat it was absolutely filthy things hanging off walls rotton floors awful smells, 2 foreign men who couldn't speak a word of English offered us a basket full of keys to pick one for a room we straight away felt uncomfortable I was with my daughter & elderly mother & we were stranded & upset, the owner from next door came to speak us & informed plus 10 lots of guests from the last 2 days had the same problem & had left to find alternative accommodation, we had no choice but to leave the whole experience has been horrific I strongly advise you get this place taken off your site & I would kindly ask for a full refund our whole night was ruined. turned up at the lynalan to be met with door wide open walked in to a what I can only describe as a squat it was absolutely filthy things hanging off walls rotton floors awful smells, 2 foreign men who couldn't speak a word of English offered us a basket full of keys to pick one for a room we straight away felt uncomfortable I was with my daughter & elderly mother & we were stranded & upset, the owner from next door came to speak us & informed plus 10 lots of guests from the last 2 days had the same problem & had left to find alternative accommodation, we had no choice but to leave the whole experience has been horrific I strongly advise you get this place taken off your site & I would kindly ask for a full refund our whole night was ruined.
- Hall (4/5): No security - Room was neat and tidy bed comfy There was no usable locks so was worried about security. Won't be staying there again
- Neil (1/5): Bad -
- Baktear (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very nice and clean hotel. it was very comfortable.staff were kind and respectful great place for children. any time I go to Blackpool that will be my hotel to go to. Definitely recommend to all.
- Dean (10/5): Fantastic - Host very friendly & accommodating, rooms clean & comfortable, and only a short walk to the tower. Nothing not to like.
- Elaine (6/5): Pleasant - Very welcoming warm smile and asked sbout ourselves. Offered a drink and seat when we arrived. Taken to our room. Hasan has only taken over in the past couple of months so is aware alot to do with his Buisness. Alot of stairs to climb to our room, very tired inside, the building needs updating and fresh clean of paint. Windows had blown couldnt see out of them. The sheet was to small for the mattress and kept slipping off. The T.V had no signal and it smelt of mould in there.
For the price wasnt expecting the Ritz but needs a good scrub and a lick of paint for sure.
- Abigail (10/5): Pleased - Clean very comfortable bed and amazing polite and very friendly and welcoming host. Definitely staying again. Thankyou āŗļø
- Ryan (1/5): Eh - Close to the beach Very clearly did not clean it. There was a whole sock in the bathroom. Got "upgraded" to a family room that was cramped af and they stole our kettle and TV. Microwave disappeared too. Not that we could use them, the sockets didn't work. AWFUL signal 0/10 would not recommend
- Hepple (8/5): Very good - Absolutely amazing staff free drink on the house when arrived clean bedrooms and breakfast for a small charge beautiful couldn't of asked for anymore There was nothing I didn't like all good
- Sonia (8/5): Very good - The owner and staff member were very polite and welcoming on arrival. We were greeted and given a welcome drink of our choice. The owner showed us to our room and offered to help with luggage.
Can upgrade to bed and breakfast. Breakfast was lovely. However, a slight little wait for it to arrive but was worth it.
The owner and staff member checked that we were ok on arrival from a night out and asked if we needed anything before heading to the room. The beds were clean, the room was tidy, we had fresh clean towels, cups, tea, and coffee in the room
Would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was that there was only one mirror in the room, but when suggested, it was needed for more mirrors due to having 4 ladies in one room. The owner said he would sort it out and welcome all feedback. The mattress was slightly hard but was able to have a good sleep
- Hirst (9/5): Superb - very friendly only place that has offered a drink on the house on arrival even the breakfast was nice š definately stay there again.
- P. (7/5): Good - Friendly staff Room is too small for family
- Clarkson (10/5): Exceptional - The owners n staff could not do enough for you all round the clock. They helped with the case, made us very welcome, chatted, friendly, made an excellent breakfast in the morning. Great location n great value for money. There was nothing I didn't like.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Kelsey (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (7/5): Good - Clean with new bedding No TV in room
No Kettle
Limited parking
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Staff very friendly and helpful š
- Andrew (5/5): Fine for lads on a night out or stag doo. - The manager was great, drinks on arrival, was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is going through renovations at the moment, I believe it will be a value for money hotel when complete.
- Agnes (8/5): Very friendly and welcoming host, ready to help with anything. - Very close to the sea side and city centre Didnāt have WiFi during my stay
- Suzi (1/5): We didnāt stay, the water was cold, the television didnāt work, he took it away and never returned, we left shortly afte -
- Ross (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Owner very welcoming free alcoholic drink offered to us when we arrived owner was very helpful
Room was clean bed was very comfortable
Sea front 5 minute walk
