- Ricky (10/5): - Everything the atmosphere felt relaxing and friendly, the hotel was very clean and renovated. Chris and Sue we're friendly and helpful. Definitely stay again.
- Helen (10/5): Great hotel and value for money. Lovely owners - The shower pressure was amazing. Better than mine at home! The breakfast was lovely. Veggie brekkie. Enough to fill you up and then choices of yoghurts and cereals etc from the self serve bar The room was a bit cold one of the nights but I think it was a glitch with the radiator. The next night was much better.
- Sarah (10/5): - Everything The pillows on the bed but that is me not them
- Steven (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): Lovely people, great location and breakfast. - Sue and Chris were very welcoming and friendly made you feel like you’ve known them your entire life! Breakfast was great. Location close to everything. They also had great recommendations. When we return to Blackpool we will definitely book again.
- Vivien (9/5): We had a really enjoyable stay and our hosts Sue & Chris made us feel very welcome. - The breakfast was very good with a large selection of cooked breakfast, cereal, pastries and fruit. Plenty of tea and coffee and toast.
- Beverley (10/5): Just a perfect location & stay - Location was fabulous, only 5 minute walk to the beach front & town. Breakfast was amazing and would be hard to beat. Staff were fantastic & friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
- Pauline (10/5): Great wee place to stay - Easy to check in and out, the owners are lovely and helpful, there is a bar which unfortunately we didn't use this time around but maybe next time There is nothing to dislike about this place
- Alice (10/5): All round a very good value hotel and in a generally convenient area that is not rowdy - The location was very convenient for the attractions we had booked, near the North/Central piers.
Breakfast outstanding quality , quantity and very hot and fresh
As a blue badge holder parking can be available free outside Only slight downside was other guests who were not very quiet late at night and also could hear snoring in the room above!
- Raymond (10/5): - Very welcoming & friendly. As above
- Julie (5/5): -
- Jo (8/5): A great budget friendly hotel very close to Blackpool Tower with a brilliant breakfast :) - Sue & Chris were very welcoming and friendly and couldn't help us more. We had a little room upgrade which was nice and the onsite parking was a brilliant bonus (just £5 per day). The breakfast was great (with every potential allergy or food choice catered for), the room very comfortable with plenty of complimentary tea and coffee. There was nothing we didn't like, but the hotel is in need of a lick of paint and a bit of an upgrade with some elements looking a bit tired and shabby. That being said we were not paying 5 star prices, just don't expect a power shower, sleek finishes or a feather duvet. For Blackpool it's a great option on a budget and close to the tower :)
- hill (10/5): - Clean friendly hotel

Owners nice and helpful and friendly.

- Lidwine (9/5): Great host, Chis and his wife were really attentive to our needs and made us feel really welcome, we - Great host and fantastic hot breakfast.
The property access ( double front door and key required to open) made use feel really safe, not that we needed much re-assurance as the area was quiet but yet only a few mins walk from the centre. Had to run the shower a few minutes before it was hot enough, but once hot no problem.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Good location and owners couldn't do enough for us

- Peter (8/5): BOSS WEEKEND - very happy wth the montclair, staff, food, rooms, very good. there ended up 10 of us booking in, and sue had to swap a couple of rooms for people with issues with the stairs but she was great and did it without any fuss. will come back to the montclair next time we are in blackpool. only thing, it being 5 floors there are a lot of stairs to climb, so make shaw you request a low flow. most hotels on this road are 5 stories high.

I would like to say a big thank you to Chris and Sue for looking after us so well. Nothing we didn't like.

- Nicola (10/5): Fab hotel! Highly recommend - We absolutely loved our stay at the Montclair, our hosts Sue and Chris couldn't have been more welcoming and so friendly, the room was absolutely spotless and smelt beautiful, the bed is incredibly comfortable and you could eat your dinner off the bathroom floor, it's immaculate, I work in hospitality myself and run a estate with holiday lets and I'm pretty ocd about things like taps and plugholes etc being cleaned properly and I had absolutely no issue with anything, the breakfast is out of this world, my partner said the sausages are really good quality and Sue feeds you like you're at your mums and can't do enough for you, we stayed 2 nights and the first morning at breakfast I had fried bread and beans as I'm not a fan of sausage etc, Sue asked if I was vegetarian and I said yeah mostly but absolutely not a problem as I was delighted with what I had, the next morning when we went down for brekkie she had 3 veggie sausages put aside for me, superb price too! excellent service and attention to guests is what makes a good hotel and Sue and Chris have it nailed, we were no more than a 5 min walk to the tower etc, I would highly recommend this fab hotel to anyone, huge thanks to Sue and Chris for the lovely warm welcome and if we're back in Blackpool we will definitely be heading to the lovely Montclair 😍 Absolutely nothing to dislike, the Montclair is perfect as it is

The hearty breakfast was plentiful with choices to cater for everyone.
Will definitely use this hotel again 😊 Not a criticism but lots of stairs, that helped with burning off the beer from the night before haha....the rooms were really warm but value for money.
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Both sue and Chris were lo Ely and couldn't do enough for you so helpful No complaints with this place
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts sue and Chris were lovely couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was lovely very pleasant stay we will be back Not a big problem but I struggled to flush the toilet
- James (6/5): Great location and place, but don't book a small double room - The staff and food were really good. We were greeted upon arrival warmly and recommended places to go which was lovely.
Booking a normal size room rather than a small double is highly recommended. I booked a small double but I didnt realise quite how small it would be. Neither of us could sit on the toilet comfortably. The shower door didnt close flat so you couldnt really turn to wash properly and having a sliding door on the toilet was a little unusual for me.
We just struggled for space to put stuff and could barely get round the bed so couldnt really get ready at the same time.
We were offered a large twin on the top floor, its just as a new couple we wanted to sleep in the same bed as it was our first holiday together.
- Constable (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malcolm (10/5): very enjoyable - the hotel is in a great location near the tower the hotel the hosts and the food were all amazing cant wait to return next year

- Sandra (10/5): Looking forward to seeing them again - Made very welcome. Very friendly and helpful. Awesome breakfast’s. Would highly recommend to anyone Nothing
