- Ellen (8/5): Enjoyed our stay, 2 adults, 2 kids (8 y/o and 3 y/o). - Cosy accommodation. Clean and tidy. Nice location. On-site shop that sold lots of different things. Bike lock up was inside a barn so secure and dry. Lots of parking. Swimming pool was clean. Lots of walks on your doorstep. Lots of storage space in the kitchen for food. Full sized fridge and freezer was great. Two tumble driers for shared use amongst all properties was great, but 1 had an issue where the drum did not spin, just heated. One of the bathrooms had an extractor fan and light that was broken. The swimming pool was shared which was not clear on the Booking.com website, but clear on the hosts private webpage. Some USB sockets in the bedrooms would have been amazing, or shaver socket in the bathrooms to charge toothbrushes.

- Paul (10/5): Lakeland cottage - Good size two bedroom cottage with two bathrooms, one ensuite. Spotlessly clean. All the essentials provided including a fully equipped kitchen: full size oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. This property provides a really comfortable homely feel in a good location to explore lake Windermere and the surrounding area. N/A
- Lisa (7/5): Good - Location is fantastic, quiet , nice property We had a few issues with no hot water, no WiFi which were resolved quickly once reported, but wasn't easy to report issues with no phone or internet!! We were unlucky to have been there post an electrical fire so had no shop or pool and only found this out shortly before our stay so didn't have full access to facilities that we'd hoped to use
