Guest Reviews
- Kay (9/5): Great house for a family trip - Lovely decor and in a great location to explore Whitstable
- Charlotte (8/5): Excellent family stay beautiful home excellent communal dining area - Beautiful property in an excellent location for Whitstable and Tankerton The property of very creeky - nothing any one can do but off you are a light sleeper it can be disruptive - I hadn’t realised the garden was also drive way but didn’t affect stay
- Jakki (10/5): Wonderful place to mark a milestone with good friends! - The location and the open plan kitchen and dining room. The stairs!
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Ken (9/5): Great location for a family break. - Location was wonderful so close to everything…Harbour, beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. We were a party of 8 family members celebrating my husbands 80th. The house was comfortable as were the beds. Brilliant team at the end of the phone for any issues we had with the property. There were a couple of hiccups while we were there… not enough bath towels which was remedied quickly.
Our last evening and the morning when we were leaving there was an issue with the heating, it wasn’t working. . A phone call and again the problem was remedied quickly.
- Michelle (10/5): Beautiful house, very homely, superb location and great hosts who responded to any queries or questions that I had. We w - Very homely, close to the harbour and shops.
- Lucy (9/5): - Lovely house, very spacious and clean,
extremely helpful host, after one of our party leaving something behind.
Very happy with our stay. We could've done with a few more dishes in the kitchen, for serving etc.
One of the beds had a heavy, winter duvet on.
- Lyn (9/5): Superb -
- Nick (7/5): Lovely to be with family.Hampered only at night with the terrible stair access to the toilet. - Downstairs was lovely. But my wife found the stairs awful especially at night when getting up to the toilet. She crawled on her hands and knees most times.
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent stay! - The property was extremely clean, spacious and well equipped for our large family group; including a lovely big dining table and chairs which comfortably seated nine people. The beds were also very comfortable.
The property's location was superb with beach, harbour and shops all nearby so plenty of activities on hand to interest the various ages in our family group. Indeed, everyone had a super time and would definitely like to return for another stay at Harbour House in the future. A minor issue was the wooden flooring throughout the house which looked great but generated noise when walked across; this being particularly noticeable when people need to visit the bathroom/wc's during the night.
Otherwise, everything was perfect at Harbour House for an most enjoyable stay.
- Carol (7/5): Good - Location fantastic House in need of much tlc . Dining table only seats 6 , table chipped with food engrained in chips and grooved rim of table top. Dining chairs need replacing due to disrepair and engrained dirt including extremly dirty and stained seat pads
- Kleiven (9/5): Great stay - Lovely house , well furnished , great location
- Humphry (8/5): Very nice. - Location Needed another bathroom.
- Rohini (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, everything we needed was there. Loved it Nothing
- Victoria (8/5): A lovely and spacious property in a good location for Whitstable - We chose Harbour House as it was in a good central position, it had enough space for us and was dog friendly. The house was well equipped and had items such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, shower gel etc which was a nice touch. The house had enough space to park three cars which was very handy. The decor was different from the pictures but was modern and looked fresh. The stairs were quite creaky which did wake us a few times with people going to the bathroom. We had 8 adults and a two year old in the property so the lounge was not quite big enough, but the kitchen and dining area was plenty big enough and we gravitated to this area instead.
- Nigel (9/5): Superb -
- Ellie (7/5): Great location and plenty of space to spread out. - Great location
Washing machine
Decent shower Bathrooms were a bit shabby
Kitchen was tired
Towels had stains
DVD player wasn’t working
Fishy smell throughout the house, was quite unpleasant, but seemed to get better as stay went on.
Noisy at times but out of control of BNB.
- Anonymous (9/5): It was a lovely house in a great location. We all felt very comfortable there. The only real downside was the 10am check - It was nicely decorated, in a great location and had everything we needed for a weekend family stay. The outdoors area was very pretty too. It was a gorgeous house. It could have been a bit cleaner. Because there were 9 of us, another bathroom would have been great. The beds on the top floor were a little small.
