Explain a few locations we may wish to visit in Deal and beyond. Very good information pack available. The cottage very well equipped and one of the nicest place we have stayed. The garden is secluded and very private. Location for us was excellent as we came by train. Centrally located within Deal and all amenities within easy reach. highly recommended and would stay again without hesitation. N/A
• Robert (10/5): Fantastic location, spotlessly clean - Great location - a very short walk to the centre of Deal and the beach. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy. It felt brand new, with no signs of wear. Care and pride is obviously taken in keeping the cottage clean and presentable: pressed sheets, kitchen neatly organised, nice little touches like a starter kit for the log burner. We visited in February when it was cold and rainy - the cottage was cosy and warm. The owner Vanessa is friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. I don't have any criticisms. A rare one - where the place is actually nicer than it looks in the photos.

• Stuart (9/5): This is an excellent place for a couple staying for a few nights. - Very tastefully and attractively decorated and furnished and well equipped. Comfortable bed and lounge furniture. A proper dining table. Good location only a short walking distance from the centre of town.

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was excellent- very clean, tidy, stylish. The host got the balance perfect - personal and helpful but also giving us privacy. Nice touches such as milk in fridge and chocolates on arrival. Lots of visitor guides made available to us if needed. The main bed was really comfortable. Lovely little courtyard to have morning coffee in. Well located - short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and also for coastal walks and visit the northern coastline or Dungeness.

• Fred (10/5): Excellent place to explore the Kent coastline. Warm and cosy when we visited in February with lots of local pubs and res - Spotlessly clean, modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen in a great location.
• Owen (10/5): We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it to a couple who are looking for somewhere close to the beach and high - Great location, very cosy, excellent host and the cottage has everything that you’d need. The living room furniture isn’t the most comfortable but it wasn’t an issue, as we didn’t need it too much. The staircase is also steep, which wasn’t ideal for my heavily pregnant wife.

Throughly recom - Fabulous home very comfortable beds gorgeous bathroom and spotlessly clean. Location amazingly good so close to town and beach and was a good base to explore surrounding areas. Vanessa is a wonderful host - there was fresh milk in the fridge, chocolates in our room (and bedding and bowls for the dog) when we arrived. Deal is a lovely place to visit and with Bijou Cottage, you're central, yet on a quiet road - would highly recommend.

• Leah (10/5): The most beautiful home away from home - My partner and I (plus dog) absolutely loved Bijou cottage. We met Vanessa on arrival and she gave us lots of useful recommendations for our weekend stay as well as a treat for our dog. The cottage was everything and more, beautifully decorated and equipped with absolutely everything you would need. The cottage is a 5 min walk to both the beach and the high street. We are already planning our next cosy stay at Bijou - our new favourite home away from home. Would recommend this cottage to everyone!!! Nothing - 10/10

Only a very short walk to the beach and just as convenient for the town centre. A charming place to holiday with some of the friendliest neighbours around. Highly recommended, 5 stars all round.
• Simon (9/5): I would fully recommend Bijou cottage for a great holiday. - Bijou cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage that retains its charm of the original design. it is well equiped, tidy and comfortable. Most importantly it is extremely well situated, and beach and best pubs/restaurants all 5 minutes away. We love Deal, it is a great old fashioned seaside town, unspoiled with a fantastic pier and never ending beach. I would fully recommend Bijou cottage for a great holiday. Vanessa is a great host and was there to greet and welcome us and provide advise for the week.

Great location - quiet but close to the beach and the Main Street. Perfectly decorated - felt totally at home. Wonderful sun trap garden with flowers and raspberry bushes. Amazing host- Vanessa was so helpful and went over and above to ensure my stay went well, especially when I wasn’t feeling week. Was dog friendly and even had dog bed, towel and dog treats! Can’t wait to come back!! Nothing! Except I wish I’d booked to stay longer!😁
