• Murray (7/5): Great comfy house for largish groups and families, well provisioned and very comfortable. - Great homely house, well appointed and very comfy and spacious, good parking and easy entry. Lots of little extras provided and were appreciated. Wifi and pay TV in a large screen lounge were a bit special. Quiet location, close enough to the shops and pub and beach, but far enough to avoid noise and traffic etc. Place was basically quite tidy but needed some more careful cleaning around the edges, under couches and beds and inside the fridge crisper with small food scraps evident. The house was not fully prepared for our stay with sheets, doona covers and towels all hanging out in the house, on a rack and over doors and cupboards that were needed to put away upon arrival as we brought all our own linen, it looked like an unfinished cleaning job, or forgotten return to complete this task. A washed doona cover and cloth were still in the washing machine damp, the dishwasher had 2-3 uncleaned items inside it that were going mouldy as it was shut. Maintenance required: master bedroom bathroom fan is not operating, cover on other bathroom fan is quite dusty and cracking, BBQ has mouse droppings inside the bottom cupboard, front decking to left of front door is falling apart and creates a trip and fall hazard with uneven boards. These aren’t major issues but need addressing for the rental charged, and for future guests safety and comfort.

Thank you so much for having us — we really enjoyed our stay and the place had a lovely feel to it. We just wanted to share a couple of small bits of feedback that might be helpful for future guests. There were a few areas that could have been a little cleaner, such as the fridge and the bin, and the tea towels were a bit worn. Nothing major at all, just little things that stood out. • Karen (10/5): A lovely home with sea views! - Our stay in Kilcunda was wonderful! The house was so much nicer than we expected, the furnishings were lovely, the kitchen was really well stocked with plenty of crockery, condiments, teas & coffees etc. The kids loved the yard and the little “magic forest area”. The location was perfect, just 250metres from the KIlcunda Hall, an easy walk to the Udder and Hoe or Killy Café for great coffee and food, and convenient access to the cliff walks. Everything at this property was just perfect and we are very grateful to the hosts for providing such a great home at a great price! If we came back to KIlcunda we would definitely stay here again. There were no negatives, only positives! This house is great!

Walking distance to the pub/cafe and short drive with kids to the beach/foreshore Few creaks on the decking out front and wobbly tiles in the driveway
• Margaret (9/5): Excellent house & location for a holiday. Kilcunda is a real gem on the Bass Coast - Very well equiped, large kitchen and great living room. The garden is large with an excellent deck. Overall a fantastic house for a family of group of friends. Unfortunately the smell of what we assumed was the cleaning fluids was really awful when we first entered the house. We needed to open all the doors and windows to dissipate the smell. It took a good couple of hour to stop smelling. Strongly recommend you change cleaning fluids if that was the cause..

• Jessie (10/5): A change of scenery at Kilcunda - The house was very well set up and comfortable, with everything we needed and more. The location was great, central to lots of different attractions and in a nice quiet area. The staff were very informative and happy to answer questions and meet requests where they could. We had two families with kids share the house, and there was plenty of space for all. A few more extra blankets as well as the doona in each room would have been lovely, in case of colder weather. Although that may have been available had we organised for extra linen, we brought our own.
