• Zdenek (8/5): - Fantastic view of the Messenian Gulf. Secluded place far from the madding crowd. Pleasant swimming pool. Good base for exploration of Taygetos mountain range and Mani peninsula. It is good to keep in mind that the property is 350m above the see level and the access road is steep, narrow and winding and you will have to drive it every day to get to the main road, to a shop or to a beach. (This is not a complaint, just a note to consider if you decide to stay here.)

• Katrien (7/5): Onvergetelijke ervaring door prachtig uitzicht! De woning zelf kon voor mij veel beter… - Mooi zwembad en ongelooflijk mooi uitzicht. Woning is goed uitgerust, alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Check-in en check-out verliepen vlot. Vriendelijke contactpersonen. Parkeergelegenheid vlakbij de woning. Klein domein (5 woningen), met gedeeld zwembad. Het huis is erg onpraktisch en is verdeeld over 2 volledige en 3 halve verdiepingen. De tweede slaapkamer is eigenlijk gewoon de living waarin 2 bedden geplaatst werden. De airco’s zijn erg luidruchtig en blazen recht op de bedden, waardoor je ze ‘s nachts amper kan gebruiken. Er is geen enkele tafel waar je met 4 personen samen aan kan eten (behalve als je de bedden in de living zou beginnen verhuizen). Aan het zwembad is erg weinig schaduw.

• Marlie (8/5): Prima met prachtig uitzicht! - Het is een prachtige locatie, je moet wel echt even rekening houden met een flinke tour de bergop, maar dat is zeker de moeite waard. Het uitzicht vanaf het huisje is al mooi, vanaf het zwembad nog mooier. Zwembad is heerlijk, groot en schoon. Huisje is echt heel mooi, ruim, prima bedden, goede keuken. De badkamer is wel echt heel heel klein, met douche met gordijn, dat doet geen recht aan de rest van het huis. Een nadeel is dat er nauwelijks schaduw is bij het zwembad, een aantal goede parasols zou helpen denk ik. De eerste nacht kregen we de airco op de benedenverdieping waar de kids sliepen niet aan de praat. Bleek uiteindelijk een andere afstandsbediening voor te zijn die heel ergens anders lag. We hadden last van een rioollucht in het huisje, kan een incident zijn maar is niet fijn natuurlijk.

A strong smell of cigarette smoke for our first day in one of the villas, and no hot water in any of the villas (which we put up with because of it being so warm).

• Matthew (8/5): Excellent - Location, Pool, Views, Quiet Some details of the house quality need improvement. The windows are great but the blinds need adjustments to function properly when opening and closing the windows. Some were slightly damaged so previous visitors clearly had the same issues we had. Some of the pool cushions need to be replaced or cleaned. Perhaps a little more lighting outdoors - some areas very dark at night (perhaps motion controlled). These are small refinements - overall our experience was great.
• Effie (8/5): In our 6 week stay around Greece, Ryalos was definitely the best accommodation we stayed at. - Amazing location, with amazing views. The night swims watching the fabulous sunset was above and beyond our expectations. Considering how far up the mountain we were, the drive to town was only around 10 minutes. Sick of going out at nights.......use the bbq on the premises, cut a quick salad, relax, and once again watch the sunset from your balcony. The only thing, yet not a deal breaker was the pressure of the water from the shower. It took a while to wash my hair

• Davide (10/5): Exceptional - The pool is very nice with a breathtaking seaview. The place is absolutely quiet, close to downtown and beaches as well. Rooms are perfectly equipped with any stuff you may need. Not joking, I'm just honest.
• Donald (10/5): Stunning view, beautiful and peaceful location, incredible value. - Incredible location, the view and condo itself were beautiful, for the price it can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again and hope to for longer next time! It can be a little difficult to find, and the property is all the way at the top of a very steep hill so driving up there is not for the faint of heart, but as long as you feel confident in your driving and your car's engine and breaks you should be fine.

• Pauline (10/5): Beautiful view and very clean. - You are very high up in the Verga neighborhood, so the views were outstanding of the sunsetting. The place is very clean and the best hot water in Greece so far. Nice breakfast snacks, plenty of towels for shower and pool.
• Lisa (7/5): Amazing views but wouldn't stay again - The views are amazing. The grounds were very nice. Great pool area. We were there right after the busy season so the water was cold. Needed to be cleaned. We liked the villas. Very nice looking property We didn't like that we had to wait for the person to come and give us our keys. We were late but still took a while. We did not like the winding ride up to the top of the mountain however that is why you have such spectacular views. The only complaint is that the one bed is out in the open and the people in the downstairs bedroom, because there is no bathroom on the lower level had to come through our sleeping area to go to the bathroom. It wasn't great. Also, there was no coffee except instant, no coffee machine.

• Itai (9/5): Great view, pool and Villa - The location was 5 minutes drive from the beach, on the hill side. The view was amazing and the infinity pool was perfect. We loved the Villa and everything around it. The host was communicative and very fast to respond. The only issue we had was the Internet connection that got disconnected many times. This was probably a temporary issue.
• Alan (10/5): Great! - The house was beautifully designed and decorated and the location breathtaking! The pool and area around the house was great, super quiet and relaxing. The breakfast snacks provided was also a nice touch. We had an amazing 2 days there. The house is at the top of the mountain and a few detailed instructions to get there could have been helpful. You definitely need a car to stay here! It was perfect for the 2 of us but I can understand why some reviews by families are negative. It's not laid out at all well for a family stay.
• Erik (9/5): Excellent, clean and private accommodations away from the crowds yet still only a short drive to main attactions in Kala - Amazing location near top of mountain offering stunning views of the bay… and stars at night… yet still within a short drive to centre of Kalamata. Small « complex » of units making for a very private stay. Super friendly and responsive host/representative. No washing machine so for longer stays like ours, wasn’t as convenient as it could have been. Still, I knew this before booking and still choose to stay here and don’t regret it one bit!
• Tim (6/5): Nice views but that's about it - Pool area provides fantastic view over the bay of Kalamata. Also accommodation is set in tranquil surroundings. Accommodation is way overpriced for what is offered. Yes, pool area with views is very nice but that's about it. Be aware, description as 2 bedroom villa is WRONG and INCORRECT. Villa has one bedroom on the first floor and 2 single beds on the ground floor in the kitchen / seating area. Definitely, not a second bedroom. Thanks to this, my wife and I spend the nights literally 2m away from a constantly humming and buzzing fridge. Thanks a lot! Also the house does not have any doors separating the floors. It is completely open. Hence, zero privacy. Equipment (e g. kitchen) and furnishing is limited to the very basics. Not really the place to do your own cooking. Also outdoor seating area has only a tiny cocktail table that does not allow for eating outside. Pool area provides sufficient deck chairs but other than that it is quite sparse and provides very limited sun shading. All in all, accommodation shows that it does not have a private host who looks after it and the well-being of his guests. But that it is managed and rented by a company focused on the financial return. Not for us. We would not recommend this place.
• Amalia (8/5): Lovely, quiet stay with spectacular views over Kalamata - The villa has spectacular views over Kalamata, the village is lovely, green and quiet. You can even get delivery there for a nice morning coffee or croissant. The upstairs double bedroom has a great balcony/veranda where you can admire the view. The house was very clean and tidy with great outdoor spaces. Regarding the bathroom, the shower is separate from the WC, which is very useful when you are 4 people sharing one bathroom. The upstairs double bedroom is far away from the bathroom (2 flights of stairs down) - but this is something we already knew before arriving so it is no fault of the property. You just have to be aware if you are a group of friends and not family that you need to get dressed to go to the bathroom! There is also a storage space downstairs that is a 'usless' room and could be converted into a second bathroom for the villa.

• Cassie (9/5): Beautiful villa in a stunning location - The villa was authentic, perfect and clean. The views were absolutely breathtaking from the bedroom balcony. The villa has everything you need. The contact was available to text with any queries. You definitely need a car and the road up to it is quiet but alot of bends. There is a wonderful taverna within walking distance, but a further restaurant and the minimarket and beach are down the hill. The pool was clean and quiet with an outside toilet, shower and changing cubicle. Plenty of sunbeds and seats. There is a shared BBQ and pizza oven. The view from the infinity pool is breathtaking too. We will definitely come back. There was no safe to store money passports etc.
