Guest Reviews
- Karen (10/5): - Was an excellent accomodation friendly staff clean and couldn't be more helpful really enjoyed our stay Nothing
- Rebecca shaw (10/5): -
- Lucy Jayne (5/5): It was okay for just a bed - It was located near to all of the popular places in Blackpool Looked like the rooms needed some TLC. Toilet wouldn’t flush on the second day of us being there. The shower door had slipped down so the floor got wet when the shower turned on. And our main room door didn’t lock from either sides.
- Courtenay (1/5): 0/10 would not recommend - dirty, mouldy, blood covered, fridge dont work, lights dont work, tv doesnt work, drug paraphernalia found in room
- Ben (10/5): Perfect for what we need good price for the weekend aswell. Couldn’t be more satisfied - Loved the place, really helpful owners. Very clean. Would recommend
- Ilaria (2/5): -
- Rob6138 (10/5): - Location is perfect. Just close enough to everything in town but still being away from noise.
- Tracy (10/5): - I like everthing about the place Took ages to warm up thats all
- Laura (8/5): Hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They were on call 24/7 for anything we needed. - The host was very accommodating as our flight was delayed and we needed check in vary late.
- Gemma (8/5): - Close to location for children to walk not far from places.
Staff was lovely
Been to the hotel before in the past
Room was fine and beds were comfortable and clean. Lack of respect from other guests due to noise/banging/ shouting at early hours through no fault of the staff.
- Adelle (1/5): - We visited the property for 10 minutes and we had to leave as the mirror was broken and dirty and it was unsafe for my 3 year old, there was not 2 bedrooms as stated and the property are refusing a refund when we never even stopped at the property, this is being taken further and trading standards need to be informed
- Anna (7/5): -
- Niema (4/5): - Location. Close to town and beach I was quite disappointed with my stay. The bed sheets had multiple stains, including what appeared to be blood stains, which was very concerning. The toilet was also not in good condition and could not be flushed properly.
The property itself felt dusty and outdated. The heating was not on upon arrival, and although I raised this several times, it was not properly resolved. I was eventually given a portable electric heater, which was not sufficient, especially as the evenings and nights were quite cold.
Overall, the accommodation is in need of significant updates and a much better standard of cleaning. Considering the price paid, I expected a much higher level of comfort and hygiene. I would not recommend this place, as there are definitely better options available.
- Lucy (2/5): Not clean - Nothing at all It wasn’t clean, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for ages they was dust everywhere the bathroom bin was full, they was hardly any hot water or heating.
I would not recommend
- CaitlinMurphy (6/5): Affordable, Local, Pleasant Hosts. - The hotel was half the price I usually pay. I come down over Easter every year and it usually costs a small fortune. They upgraded us to a larger room for free too :) The carpets had a strange smell but after using some febreeze it vanished and never returned. That's really it in terms of a bad note.
- Martin (3/5): - Ower very friendly, good location.
Second bedroom comfortable beds with hanging space for that room only. Lots of issues like not clean main room mattress very uncomfortable to sleep, blind did not go to btm of window, let in light and no where to hang up cloths.
Kettle had a crack down front so when you poured, it when all over.
Second bedroom beds good, just rubbish under bed
Broken toilet seat, no container to us in microwave
- Roberts (8/5): -
- Stacey (9/5): -
- Alisha (5/5): Not happy as we ended up getting a parking ticket even after being instructed by the hotel manager where to park £35 fin -
- michael (8/5): - Always stay here if possible. Nothing to mention
- Shayxx (3/5): -
- Dace (2/5): - Laba atrašanās vieta. Personāls iedeva jaunu tosteri un pēc pieprasījuma arī gludekli. Ļoti netīrs numurs. Pelējums, putekļi. Mitrs, auksts. Ne vienmēr bija apkure un siltais ūdens. Gultai varēja just visas atsperes. Matu fēns un higiēnas piederumi nebija.
- Sharon (1/5): Would not even put my dog in here to stay total dump not clean smell of damp not fit for habitation - Not really much just thought basic but ok thats what i paid for so the price. Cleanliness, smell of dampness, cold, double glazed windows permanently steamed up in between the panes. Lack of communication between the person who runs this . Location! … got woke early hours with Englishman screaming and shouting in street wanting in a property. Drug pushers running down street being chased by police . The pits
- Jeanette (7/5): -
- Kelly (1/5): - The staff was nice and friendly It was so cold we could not have stayed the night without any heating and there's beds and a kitchen in the living room this is not a apartment it's more like a homeless bedsit
- Ferguson (8/5): -
- Dunn (1/5): - We booked an apartment when infavr it was a room with a kettle. It was freezing as no heating on. They did provide an oil filled small portable radiator. The shower was freezing. The cutlery and plates were dirty and nowhere to wash the dishes except the tiny bathroom sink. Everything really
- mandy (9/5): - Brilliant location - just a short walk from everywhere we wanted to go. Excellent value for money. It's basic but had everything we needed for a weekend away.
- wendy (4/5): Won’t be ataying here again - Close to amenities Things not working plates and cutlery dirty not a kitchenette
- victoria (8/5): Fairly basic but with everything you need. - Decent sized room with everything needed. I prefer more than one pillow on the bed so maybe some spare pillows.
- Kerry (8/5): - Staff were friendly and keen to sort any issues. The location is central. A budget friendly hotel with comfortable beds Slightly outdated but by the sound of it they are planning improvements
- Aimee (9/5): -
- Joseph (1/5): Horrible, staying in a cellar! - The man we spoke to was very nice, the cleaner however was rude and the worst member of staff I’ve ever spoken to The property smelt damp, humidifier in every room, none of them were doing what they were meant to do as the place was still very humid! The bottom of the cooker doesn’t works and was wired up extremely dangerously after speaking to a qualified electrician! None of the electric appliances had been tested and didn’t have any stickers on them
- Jodie (10/5): -
- Sophie (7/5): Overall tho we had a really good stay and the little bits that I have mentioned didn’t take away for the experience - Location and accommodating staff Could do with a bit of maintenance and could be cleaner sound can also be a bit of an issue was can hear everything from the other rooms
- Tom (10/5): Brilliant and would highly recommend - Very friendly and great staff. Went above and beyond, it was spacious and the location was perfect. Would highly recommend. Nothing to not like it’s perfect and a great price.
- Lindsay (7/5): - Perfect locations for various things. Very clean, landlord was very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfy. The shower side was loose but was still functional. The kitchen tap needed tightening and the height of the microwave was a bit much for me to reach (5ft tall)
- Michaela (9/5): - Perfect location, the host was very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable and you just helped yourself to tea and coffee saches from downstairs to take up to your room. The bathroom is dated although clean, the power in she shower is very poor.
- adams (10/5): -
- Martin (5/5): - To cold heating not working
- corbett (8/5): Value for money can’t go wrong if you just need a warm bed to lay your head while visiting Blackpool - Close to the front
Friendly host
En-suite bathroom area and clean towels were provided The only real issue that can be held is the noise which isnt a property issue it’s a Blackpool issue
- Hall (9/5): Perfect for what we needed it for I’ve stayed here twice now and woyid definitely stay again - Very close to our Venue spacious for a family of 4 owner was very helpful It’s not that I didn’t like it but we had a problem flushing the toilet
- Donna (9/5): Stayed NYE great apartment for a nights stay perfect location and the landlord was fabulous and did all he could to make - Spacious enough for the five of us to get ready and have a good drink. Very close to the tower and pubs.
- Bairstow (5/5): -
- Wesley (8/5): -
- keith (4/5): - Location for winter gardens Room was not as described on booking.com
Room was freezing, toilet took 3 times to flush, basically did not get the room we were given description of, also only one cup and one glass, for a booking for two people.
- michael (9/5): - Comfortable, great location, friendly host.
- Mark (7/5): - Location was excellent
- cowlishaw (10/5): - Love staying here as its near to everything we like to visit.
- Charlie (10/5): - Lovely host, very clean and went out of his way for me. Really positive
- Riv (7/5): it’s a decent and convenient option if you just need somewhere simple and central for a few nights. - We stayed at Wilson Lodge for two nights over the weekend. The apartment was spacious and in a very convenient location, close to the city, which made getting around quite easy. It had a small kitchenette with a few basic items. We didn’t cook during our stay, but you could probably prepare simple meals if needed.
The beds were clean and tidy, though the spring mattresses weren’t the most comfortable — fine for a couple of nights but not quite the “home comfort” feel. The apartment overall felt a bit dated, and although the carpet had a slightly dented look, it still appeared reasonably clean.
Some features, such as the windows, were showing their age — a bit misty with what seemed like failed double glazing, and the building itself is older. Despite this, the place was generally functional and practical for a short stay.
In summary, it’s a decent and convenient option if you just need somewhere simple and central for a few nights. Not luxurious, but clean enough and spacious, and it served our purposes well.
- James (10/5): - Ideal location to tower clean and comfortable with near by parking. Would use again
- Abbie (10/5): - Everything Nouthing everything good
- Sharon (9/5): Very good stay with lovely hosts - Breakfast wasn't included but we knew that and that was fine .. The property was located very close to the main street and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful even letting us to delay departure by an hour . Would recommend for a family lots of room and everything you need Was nothing I didn't particularly like about the rooms or location . The one thing that did bother me was if there was a fire upstairs there no way to get out as in basement and just one set of stairs .maybe fitting one bigger window as an emergency escape route might be an idea to make it perfect .
- Kara (10/5): Excellent little place with a lovely owner and great location! - Great little place in a super convenient location!
The owner was amazing and couldn’t do enough to help! Clean and tidy place which was great value for money!
- Lindsey (9/5): Amazing location - The location is fantastic, so close to the front, coral island, sealife centre & gruffalo club.
It was lovely & warm , lovely & spacious.
The owner was very welcoming & made it clear at any point if we needed anything to contact him.
Bath towels nice,fresh& soft.
The WiFi signal was great!. We was missing a few essential items (as we see it) , kitchen sink either a bowl or plug to wash pots, scissors, clothes airer ( had washing machine in apartment), hand towels, only bath towels provided.
We went to use the oven & the main section wasn't working, just the top part.
- Alison (10/5): - The room was absolutely spot on its had more than expected in it, the staff was lovely very friendly, the shower was to die for beaut it was, very warm as heating was constantly on and the bed was very comfortable, perfect Location. Having to come home a night early as my little lad isn't well 😕.
- Valerie (10/5): -
- Erika (7/5): - Location was really good, the owner was really nice very accommodating and helpful. Even allowed us to keep the luggage before the check-in. Always asked if we needed anything, and offer if we need to keep our luggage on our checkout day. Also always gives some advice on places we could go. I think its on process of updating the bldg which is good . Problem same as every old bldg, you can hear the noise from other rooms
- Claire (8/5): - The owner I can't praise enough he was so helpful, the beds were really comfy and location was excellent. Would definitely stay again. The shower could've been a bit cleaner, but that's all
- Lauren (9/5): Great Value for money - would stay again - Great value for money! Staff were so helpful and always available when needed. Travel cot, iron and board and heater in the bedroom! Kettle toaster and microwave and a fridge also! Couldn’t fault it Nothing to complain about - maybe some curtains up in the bedroom rather than or aswell as the roller blinds
- Steve (9/5): -
- Summer bee-Dunn (4/5): - How close it was to the tower and shops There was soap in my kettle and I couldn’t get it out the kettle at all and the bed wasn’t completely comfortable
- Samantha (5/5): - The location was good I booked a two bedroom apartment, the room we got was a 1 bed apartment with a double bed in the living room and no bed at all for the child that was with us, we were then charged an extra fee when we complained we did not get what we paid for which was waived when none of the rooms had hit eater for showers, the host offered us an extra room to take showers one of the days and then no heating was on for the duration of the sta, the host did what he could. After we left we thought we had left a set of house keys in one of the rooms so I text messaged the host with no reply what so ever to a call or sms
- Vicki (8/5): -
- Kirsty (8/5): -
- deborah (9/5): Great place would definitely stay again ideal for families - Hotel is literally next to coral island it’s very central which was great having kids I could alway nip back to the room if I needed to, rooms where nice and big and had everything I needed microwave, kettle ect beds were comfortable and clean and had a tv, probably one of the best places I’ve stayed in Blackpool so far worth the money Couldn’t really fault this place only it did get a bit cold through the night and I think the radiators are on a set timer and didn’t go very hot so would have been good to turn the heater up when it got cold
- Alison (10/5): Would definitely recommend - The host met us a the apartment, couldn't do enough for us.so close to everything you need would definitely recommend this Nothing
- Abdulrahman (10/5): -
- Moore (10/5): Amazing - Lovely place Nice and Friend People The owner was very Lovely and helpful Definitely booking again for end of the month Thankyou James
- Shauné Paige (1/5): Please look elsewhere! - The only positive is we had a small fridge and microwave. The negatives however hugely outweighs this. We booked for a 2 night stay, cut our stay short and left early morning after the 1st night. We would have left when we arrived, but we had a small child and not enough money to book elsewhere for the night.
1) The room had a LOT of mould. Mould on the walls, the sealing around the window, you could literally smell how mouldy and musky it was from walking in.
2)The room was so extremely damp that our clothes and blankets literally felt damp to touch. We brought a book to read, within a couple hours of it being on the table the pages had warped from the damp air.
3) Filth. We took our shoes off and within 20 minutes our socks were black. We paid extra for the hire of a cot, when we opened it, stale crackers fell out proving it wasnt even wiped down. We were provided cups and plates that were dusty and unclean. The ventilator and overhead light were THICK with dust, as if they hadn't been cleaned in years.
4) The radiator and bed side lamps were very rusty. Behind the toilet was also filthy, and there was a toilet brush left which was rancid with dried dirty toilet paper stuck to it.
5) We had no hot water. The heating did not work. Nothing provided to line to cot, had we not brought blankets, our baby would have literally slept on a wooden board. Also one of the blinds were broken so we weren't able to open or close it.
- Honestly we were apauled. We are not 'proud' by any means and have stayed in some pretty crummy places but this was a literal health hazard. I messaged the owner to tell him we were departing early and Ive had no response. Our stay was absolutely abysmal, if we didnt have a child dependant on sleep, we would have got up and walked away within an hour of arriving. Some may say 'at least you had a roof' but we paid hard earned money to stay here and every penny was wasted. I wish I could upload all the photos ive taken - and if only i could be compensated but its not going to happen.

- Hawes (8/5): -
- Rachael (6/5): - Great location The bed wasnt comfortable and the noise at nice time was atrocious.
- Caitlyn (10/5): -
- Shannon (5/5): - It was a decent sized room, staff was lovely,
Location was exactly were we wanted to be xo Wasn’t much storage for the pram,
- Laura (5/5): - Host was amazing, I needed a hair dryer, he rushed over from his house and dropped one off for me. Anything we needed he was happy to help Says apartment, it's not an apartment it was a room. Location was close to where we needed to be but the street was rough. Constant police around. We booked the deluxe quadruple, it's defiantly not a deluxe, and the throw on the double bed stunk of smelly armpits. No tea and coffee just a kettle. Could do with a regular window cleaner although the things you saw in the street it was probably a good thing the windows were dirty!
- Laura (10/5): - We were met on arrival. Showed the room and asked if everything was ok. There was free WiFi password was in the hallway on arrival. Room was lovely and there was alot of space would definitely stay there again. I struggle with stairs and being on the 3rd floor didn't help but buggers can't be choosers! Other than that everything else was perfect
- Casey (8/5): -
- Aleczander (10/5): Great base - Nothing was too much for a very friendly, helpful owner. We all slept well both nights.
Prefect location, reasonably priced.

- Howarth (10/5): - Staff
- Mohammad (7/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Loved the owner he was great - The bed was comfy and the hob was great to cook on and the owner was amazing nothing was to much of an ask and he was really friendly The shower didnt hang up you had to hold it (which wasn't a massive deal) and the cold tap in the kitchenette was very slow running
- Michae (1/5): Nie wieder überall Schimmel Zimmer ist feucht - Gar nichts es ist einfach nur ekelhaft Alles !!!
- Paul (1/5): - Nothing we left not long after arriving spent the whole day looking for alternative accommodation Accommodation was nothing like in photos smelt of mould shower broke holes in wall stains on doors my children looked like they was going to cry when entering so call apartment
- Bettam (7/5): -
- Valerie (10/5): -
- Elaine (5/5): - The location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the shopping centre and bus station, very close to a tram stop too. And a cafe serving delicious food only one minute away. Friendly owner and Nice decor Was sold as a 2-bedroom flat, however, it was not. It's a one-bedroom and a bed in the living area. Nowhere to sit and eat /relax as it has no sofa and only 3 hard chairs at the table, cooking facilities are dangerous, the microwave, kettle toaster etc are on shelves that look like they are starting to bend due to the weight they are holding. Couldn't turn the TV around as the aerial was broken and had to be held in by the pressure of the wall. The room had not been cleaned as in our small fridge we had some kind of sticky brown substance and there was food left in the one cupboard we got (someone left bread and onions etc.). Lots of mould in the shower and lots of bits and bobs under the beds .. only 2 cups for a family of 6 and had to wash these before use as they were filthy. Went out and had to buy cups and bowls so we could all have a drink and some cereal in a morning.. flat was uncomfortable and felt too small for a family of 6
- Lukasz (7/5): -
- Cameron (10/5): -
- Andrea (3/5): Miserabel, ich wollte in ein anderes Hotel, das storniert wurde - Alles sehr schmutzig, kaum Klopapier Alles verdreckt, schleissige Anschlüsse im Bad, Löcher im Teppich
- Marc (7/5): It was good - The staff were amazing very friendly and the room is a great laugh out The tv it was to small
- Megan (10/5): - Love how big the room was and nice and clearn and good sitting area to eat and watch abit of TV the bed was so comfy loved the stay
- matthew (9/5): Tower view room - The room was spacious and had everything i needed.
Staff was really nice and helpful
Beautiful view of the tower.
Perfect location Being right at the top of the hotel lots of stairs
- Gillingham (10/5): For the price I'd buy that for a dollar. - Toilet should of flushed properly, it kept getting blocked no bed linen for the sofa bed
