• Marina (10/5): Quel bel endroit! - Très belle maison dans un environnement calme, et une très belle vue. La maison est très bien équipée, la literie très bien. La piscine, même si en ce début mai, les températures étaient un peu fraîches, est très agréable. La route pour parvenir est caillouteuse, mais cela vaut le coup pour le calme et la vue. Il manque une petite dose de café pour le lendemain matin en cas d’arrivée tardive, un détail.

• Giles (3/5): You have to invalidate hire car insurance to get to villa on a terrible road the facilities are not as the photos on boo - View was good but unfortunately the access road was the worst I have ever driven. The unmade road invalidated the hire car insurance and the last concrete section was terrible. It prevented us going out road was so bad. No mention in booking.com advert Access road terrible. Photos on booking.com out of date. Patio furniture missing some replaced with very uncomfortable cheap rubbish. Not a comfortable seat to sit on. Table and chairs at far end of pool gone no where to sit. Small table and chairs on patio view gone replaced by a home made pallet chair useless uncomfortable. Sun shade over outside dining table made of metal so got so hot unable to sit at table like an oven so outside dining impossible. Sun loungers not as photos replaced by cheap plastic which do not adjust and are again uncomfortable. Whole outside area unfortunately unusable. Pool was dirty green mould line round pool which my daughter leaned against in a white bikini now green stained ruined. Pool filter system does not work very cloudy can’t see the bottom. Two people came to look at it after first week blamed us for sun screen didn’t clean it very unfriendly said chemicals need to be bought tomorrow pool unusable for 3 days. Air conditioning has been installed incorrectly so condensate pipe does not drain properly so water runs down the wall making bedrooms smell mould and musty. A strange man kept turning up on the patio trying to fix some water tank below. Poor English wasn’t helpful with any of problems. A woman turned up again explained issues she promised new table and chairs “manyana” of course a lie nothing improved. All very poor.

• Rebecca (7/5): Amazing villa but the location needs to be clearly described for anyone booking - Amazing Villa but it’s located up a very narrow dirt track. It should be clearly stated that the villa is located up a very narrow dirt track. There is a large dog in one of the neighbours properties below that barks continually as you go by. We needed to rent a motorbike to access the villa

• Silke (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing stay in villa Alegria. Would recommend to everybody! It would be nice to have a blackout curtain in the bedrooms. Our rental car, a fiat 500, was not good enough for the bumpy road. So just be aware your car may be slightly damaged.
• Debra (9/5): Great views, spotlessly clean, fully equipped, relaxing - Great views, very clean comfortable villa, has everything you need. Distant motorway noise, though not a problem and only heard when outside the property. Property accessed via very steep, partially unadopted road.

• Charles (9/5): lovely place, great location but access road is a bit rough. - very nicely refurbished and laid out. great views and private. very clean too. the road to get there is a bit rough and and sketchy. Don’t use the lanes suggested by satnav or you’ll get stuck. best use the Camanito Rio Seco and it’s bumpy and a bit steep but was ok in our Fiat Tipo hire car.
• Dianne (10/5): We loved Villa Allegria, and would stay again! - Amazing views of Nerja and the sea, as your quite high up the mountain here…it had a great little pool which was clean and just enough for a dip in the heatwave we had in May! We loved this area to sun bath and to chill, the sun beds were really comfy, and it was very quiet and private. Inside was very clean and modern and was fully equipped with everything you’d need. Bed was comfy too! Lovely bathroom and shower was great! we loved our stay and would definitely stay again. To reach the villa it’s off a dirt track road which is very bumpy and has steep hairpin bends to get up to it..very dark at night & a car is essential, but worth it for the views! be prepared for a dirty car (but there’s a hose pipe as you drive in so its handy to clean your front and back windows) I also watered the plants as they needed it. I think pool towels should be offered. Washing machine there but no tabs, so again this would have helped instead we had to buy a full box. And no replacement bin liners so we had to buy those too.
• Reene (8/5): Nice view, bumpy road - It is a nice & spacious property, huge terrace with fantastic views. Comfortable beds, good set of tableware & kitchen appliances. Overall impression - quick fix /makeover, "made for sale / rent". However rooms were clean, and the value for money was excellent. Key collection from the box - fantastic. Be aware that uphill drive to the house can be a bit of a challenge, especially when arriving in the dark and not familiar with the surroundings. The handmade signs pointing towards the villa are small and not very noticeable, more easy to overlook. Also first road recommended by maps (shortest from highway) led us to a self-made "STOP" sign. But after some crazy turns and crazy emotions our Fiat pulled through :). If you stay longer - definitely recommend to take a trip to Nerja which is short ~15-20 min drive from the villa. Pool ladder was bit loose.
