There is free shuttle service from the bus station of Ouranoupoli to Pension Irini and vise versa, as well as from Pension Irini to the harbor, where boats depart to Mount Athos, and vise versa.

- Dimitrios (1/5): Disastrous stay - Absolutely nothing. We stayed in the room for just a single night and we woke up with a lot of bed bug bites. At the night, we also found and killed a bed bug that we did not realize it at that moment, but it was confirmed a day later on when we visited a dermatologist. Luckily, our one-year-old daughter was not bitten as she was sleeping in a playpen that we brought with us. After contacting the pansion and mentioning the incident, they refunded us but attempted to accuse us of bringing the bed bugs ourselves from the beach, something laughable due to the sheer amount of bites received, pointing to a large number of bugs.

Camera cu spatiu suficient pentru 3 persoane, foarte curata, baia foarte curata si dotata cu absolut tot ce era necesar, inclusiv uscator de par. Bucatarioara din camera era utilata Ok, cu frigider functional, hota si aparat de cafea. Aparatul de aer conditionat era foarte silentios. Se ajunge in aproximativ 15 minute, de mers pe jos, in centrul orasului unde se gasesc taverne dupa dorinta. Exista 2 plaje in apropiere la care se poate ajunge pe jos in 5 minute. Experienta a fost una foarte placuta, recomand aceasta proprietate si pe proprietari care sunt niste persoane foarte prietenoase. n/a

(5 minutes à pieds) Rien. Juste à noter plaque de cuisson mais pas possible de cuisiner (pas de poêle, ni casserole) et panneau interdiction. Cependant, possibilité de restauration en ville.

- Nevena (10/5): Excellent acommodation - Wonderful acommodation with all facilities provided. The room was exceptionally clean, new and convinient. They clean the room and change bedsheets and towels every other day. The view was beautiful with a nice terrace, plus a big shared terrace outside the apartment, with breathtaking view. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent. The center of the city is 10 minutes walk by foot. There is a close beach 150m by foot, and other beaches very near by. Its quiet and not crowded. Everything was great.

- Siniša (10/5): my 'summer sea home' - Since it was my third year in a row, it just keeps being better and better. The hospitality, sense of peacefulness and just great experience that makes me visit it again every year, even for couple od days for an awesome rest and joy. Oh, and the small things as well, for instance, the shower head in apartment 3 is absolute wonder! Talking about micro-massage with water! :) Some will tell that the location is a bit too uphill, but for me it is also a plus! No parking problems, safer and quieter environment, a place to hide away and just meditate on the balcony.

- Peter (10/5): - Ha lehetne 1000 pontot adni a tisztaságra én 999 pontot adnék. Nagyon szépen karbantartott, hangulatos családi kézben üzemeltetett appartman. Napi takarítás, tiszta törölköző és ágynemű. A szobánk tájolása tökéletes volt, csak délután sütött oda a nap. Mindig tökéletes tisztaság illat volt a recepció környékén. Az utcán a ház előtt is szépen rendben tartott kis kert található. Egy kis negatívum, a konyha pult alatti hűtőszekrényeket érinti. Nagyon kicsik a hűtőszekrények és a fagyasztó ajtaja néhol hiányzik. Szerintem ha ezek ki lennének cserélve egy nagyobb, és modernebb verzióra minden tökéletes lenne.

Η κυρία Ειρήνη ήταν πολύ ευγενική, ενώ με δική της πρωτοβουλία αναβάθμισε το δωμάτιο μας μεταφέροντας μας σε μεγαλύτερο με την τιμή που είχαμε πληρώσει. Η κράτηση μας δεν είχε πρωινό όμως μας δόθηκε η δυνατότητα με χρέωση 10€/άτομο να φάμε στην Pansion. Το πρωινό είχε μεγάλη ποικιλία, με αλμυρές και γλυκές επιλογές. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ όμορφο, ευρύχωρο και καθαρό, ενώ το μπαλκονάκι με θέα στον πύργο της Ουρανούπολης ήταν μια πολύ όμορφη έκπληξη. Το μπάνιο ήταν εξοπλισμένο με όλα τα απαραίτητα, όπως και η κουζίνα. Υπήρχαν επίσης παντόφλες μιας χρήσης και προϊόντα προσωπικής υγιεινής. Η τοποθεσία ιδανική με εύκολο πάρκινγκ και άνετη πρόσβαση περίπου 10-15 στο κέντρο της Ουρανούπολης με τα πόδια. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

- Birgit (9/5): Top -jederzeit gerne wieder! - Die Lage ist wunderschön mit einem tollen Blick über Ouranoupolis, zu Fuß ist man im knapp 10 Minuten im Ortskern. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, das reichhaltig und gut war. Frisch gepresster Orangensaft, selbstgebackene Kuchen... einfach gut! Die Besitzerin und auch das Personal sind superfreundlich, der Service war top. Wir würden diese Pension jederzeit wieder wählen! Wenig - manchmal war ein etwas eigenartiger Geruch im Zimmer. Das liegt wohl aber allgemein an der griechischen Kanalisation.

- Julya (10/5): It was a great place for us to stay. - The property was well situated, spotlessly clean and spacious enough for two of us but for us the star of the show was the big covered balcony with garden and sea views which is where we spent a lot of time relaxing, eating and stargazing. The host was lovely, she chatted with us whenever we met her and even offered us freshly picked pears from her own garden. Crisp white linen and soft white towels were supplied, the bed was very big, the hot water plentiful and always available and the bathroom was very modern and well appointed. Pretty much everything had been thought of including cold water waiting in the refrigerator, locally sourced shower gel, shampoo and soap, extra toilet roll, sewing kit, tooth care package, shower hat, air conditioning, tv with a good reception and at least 10 channels (I checked although I didn’t watch it), hairdryer, extra bedding, room safe, coffee machine and some pods etc for it, a drying rack on the balcony, great WiFi and even a notepad in case it was needed. The kitchen, as advised, was only for light meals or snacks so pots and pans were limited but all other kitchen equipment was supplied with the notable exception of a frying pan as frying is not allowed in the apartment. The beach is literally a few minutes down hill walk away and the nearest small supermarket 5 minutes or so away. My purpose for being there was to scuba dive and Athos Dive Centre was about 4 kms away from the apartment. Parking was on the road although there was a small area where cars could be parked further up the road but we never had a problem finding a space. The apartments also had a shared terrace with tables and chairs for use for socialising which could be covered if it rained. The busier and touristy town centre was about 20 - 30 minutes walk away depending how fit you are but paid parking is available there so you don’t have to walk. There was little, if anything, not to like about the property but I’d like to give a word of warning because we managed to flood the vanity unit in the bathroom and drowned the spare toilet roll. The water pressure in the unit was fabulous and so I hung the shower head in the bracket, turned the water on to warm up and left the bathroom to get my clean clothes. When I came back the high pressure of water had pushed the shower head up and it was spraying over the top of the shower cubicle! My fault entirely for not watching it but I hope I can stop anyone else making the same mistake. My only other issue, although it’s a nice one to have, is that the room was cleaned and bins emptied every day which was not strictly necessary.

- Al-Gareeb (10/5): Strongly recommend - We found at the Irini guesthouse an exceptional host, with very good accommodation conditions, daily cleaning, the room equipped with everything you need, with answers to any question and with the kindness specific to the Greeks. The panoramic terrace across the street is great for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. On leaving, Irini also offered us specific gifts for which we thank her very much! I Strongly recommend! Efcharisto poly! Nothing!

- Siniša (10/5): On my way to become a regular visitor, definitely a "go to" place in this part of Chalkidiki/Atos - Wonderful breakfast, wonderful hosts. This place is a bit up to the hill, which serves the great purpose ini the means of quietness, security, overall sense of coziness... There is really not much of advantage when you have an "at the beach" apartment, it would be much busier/louder place. This is quite the opposite and I love it. Can't think of anything bad or wrong here. Hope it will stay that way in the future. :)

Este utilata cu aparat de cafea, fierbător,farfurii și tacâmuri .In fiecare zi se face curățenie iar prosoapele si lenjeria se schimba la 2 zile. Gazdele sunt foarte amabile. Plaja se afla la 5 -10 minute de pensiune. A fost un sejur minunat!

There are plenty of parking spots which is quite a rarity in Greece. The room was extraordinary clean. The whole place smells like flowers and perfume, they cleaned the room every day and they changed our sheets and towels EVERY day... I haven't seen such service absolutely no where else in no country. I am a bit of germaphobe and sometimes I need a few days until I get used to sleeping in a hotel/rental bed, but here I felt like home due to the extraordinary cleanness. We were more than impressed!

- Criss (10/5): Excepțional! - Pensiunea, cu o arhitectura absolut deosebita, se afla într o zona linistita, la intrarea in Ouranoupoli, iar panorama asupra marii și a orașului este de vis! Peste drum de pensiune se afla o terasa acoperita, amenajata cu mese si scaune pe care o pot folosi oaspeții pensiunii. Curățenia în camere și spatiile comune este exemplara! Zilnic a fost făcută curățenie în camera și pe balcon și la 2 zile au fost schimbate prosoapele și așternutul de pat. La baie veți găsi produse de bună calitate ( săpun, gel de dus, sampon) și uscător de par. In camera am găsit și aparat împotriva țânțarilor și pastilele aferente. Camera este spațioasă (existând chiar și un loc pentru relaxare sau lectura), decorata și mobilata cu foarte mult bun gust! Felicitări gazdelor pentru dedicare și pentru munca pe care o depun pentru a face din aceasta pensiune un adevărat colt de rai! Va mulțumim din suflet pentru ospitalitate și sper sa ne revedem curând! Nici măcar un minus mic.....
