• Anne (9/5): Lovely cottage in Padstow - Perfect position in Padstow, comfortable, and warm, nice little back garden Sink is separate to the main kitchen, through a door, ok in summer as you'd leave the door open, but in winter it was inconvenient but not a huge problem!
• Clare (9/5): Lovely comfortable week in a pretty, spacious home with great views - Beautiful big house - much bigger than expected from photos. Lovely and clean, plenty of space to enjoy and nice personal touches. Really comfortable and amazing location and view of the harbour! The mattress in the master bedroom needs replacing, I noted this was highlighted as an issue in September and was disappointed to see it hadn’t been addressed by November as it means one person sleeps uncomfortably. Pots and pans could do with a refresh as very scratched and microwave needs a good clean
• Ivette (6/5): Great stay, great location - Lovely location with parking close by in local car park. Property was beautiful, character full and clean, and really enjoyed the stay. Despite being close to the town centre, it was quiet and not much disturbance at all. Property was well equipped with all you need (despite the mattress issues) for a comfortable stay. We'll definitely book again. The only issues we had was the gas cooker/stove, and the double mattress in the top/main bedroom. Despite following instructions the gas cooker never got hot enough. It also took some time to figure out the stove top - quite complicated but finally managed to find the instructions manual. The mattress was in really poor condition, was worn and on the side to the window you were laying in a terrible hole- a new mattress is definitely needed.
• Adam (9/5): An excellent holiday cottage - A very well located cottage close to the harbour. The cottage itself is nicely decorated, well equipped, clean and looked after. We had a very comfortable stay, and the downstairs kitchen/seating and dining areas were great for family breakfasts and evenings (and plenty of space for a large dog). The bedrooms and bathrooms felt spacious, particularly for family of three. The washing machine, drier in the shed, and yard space, were very useful for washing towels and beach wear during our stay. We did appreciate the handful of dishwasher tablets and washing machine capsules - something not always provided in other cottage rentals we have stayed at previously. Overall we had a brilliant stay! A minor issue if you plan to cook meals (we ate at home most evenings) - The kitchen was well equipped with hobs, oven, microwave, and the Rayburn stove (for winter use). However, the two induction hobs are quite small and limited how many pans and preparation space there is.
